I'm going to cover two aspects about this gym review. The gym itself like the equipment and what all it offers, and finally the sales staff. While it's important to note this particular location isn't open 24/7, it's still a great gym to go to. I've been going to this gym for several years and I feel the equipment here is well maintained. This location does staff a lot of personal trainers so you can almost certainly find a trainer who you think would best suit you.If you are looking for a location that has a pool, sauna, and a steam room; this location has all three. This gym does offer various classes for free as well such as spin classes. Overall I've gone to around 6-7 different 24 Hour Fitness (24HF) locations, and I would say this location is my favorite as far as the equipment selection. For cardio, I enjoy using the stair master and they have a lot of them to use._______________________________________________________For the sales staff here unfortunately this is where this particular location takes a nose dive. They will straight up lie to your face, and I've directly caught them doing that to me. Continue reading and you will discover why.Without any discounts the average gym membership here costed me $36.00 per month or $432.00 per year. I recently discovered Costco sells two YEAR membership to 24 fitness for $400.00. So you can pay $400.00 for two years OR you can pay $864.00 if you go month to month. Hmm such a TOUGH decision. After years of being a fool, I purchased the two year membership from Costco. So here's the deal, one day I discovered my 2 year 24HF membership that I purchased from Costco was going to expire shortly. Without saying any prompts to the sales employee, he said "But did I know that I can't use another pass from Costco." I told him I had never heard that before. He said even the fine print on the deal said it can only be used once per customer. The sales associate requested that the sales manager speak with me.The sales manager explained the very same thing, that I could not use another 2 year membership from Costco. He said it didn't matter if I went to another location either, I would be flagged in their system. Being a investigator, I decided to research this further. I checked the Terms and Conditions for the pass at Costco and it said "Limit one per person." What was NOT clear was if that meant I could only buy one per day or one in my lifetime.I called Costco to get clarification and I was told that I could buy as many as I wanted and that you could just only buy one at a time. So I had uncovered officially that this 24HF location was lying to me. I returned to 24HF the same day and found the same lying sales associate at the front desk.I told him I wanted to get some clarification from what he was telling me. I relayed to him that Costco would sell me as many memberships as I wanted, so are you telling me if I purchase another one you will refuse me? He said "Hold on, first off calm down. First off Costco is the ones who are telling us that we can only accept one, which is why we tell people that they can only use one. Also, when you buy from Costco, our sales associates receive nothing, so we want to look out for our team."That second part told me everything I needed to hear. Translation? I don't care if it will cost you far more money, I will lie to you to get you to pay month to month with us. Listen, I get not being upfront and sharing hey by the way, you shouldn't purchase a membership with us, get it through Costco, because you arn't making any money. Lying though when a customer brings it up to you? That's beyond messed up.The same sales manager also called me back the following day that I purchased and used my Costco membership. He asked me if I wanted to sign up month to month with him. I told him I already purchased the Costco membership and applied it to my account there. He told me he would "honor it." Oh how quick he went from saying I "could not use it again" to saying I could, without even having to try.

Pros - Not over crowded. Nice workout environment and good equipment. Indoor running track, pool, sauna, hot tub, steam room. Somewhat clean which is better than other gyms I have been toCons - Still a bit pricey. It seems like every gym I ever go to is dirty unless it is a new one.

The locker rooms and showers are not clean and a portion of the gym equipment is always either broken or on its last legs. Weekend open hours don't really fit a gym that's called "24 Hour Fitness": keep in mind that this 24 closes at 8PM on Saturday and Sunday. However, the gym does have plenty to offer in terms of amenities: there's a good collection of cardio and weight equipment, a short indoor track, a pool, hot hub, and sauna. Also, the gym is usually not too crowded and there's no wait for equipment.

It's a good gym. I signed up like 11 years ago with a pay-two-years-up-front and then only pay $50 a year for the rest of my life deal - so for $50 a year I can't complain too much. As a runner I love the indoor track - yes it's only 1/10th of a mile around, but sure beats the treadmill and a great option for rainy, freezing cold or uber hot days. 6-7 miles is completely doable with headphones and good music. I also like spinning for cross training and they have plenty of classes. All necessary equipment for strength and core work, too. The pool can get crowded by I ask the share a lane and have never been told "no." One of the few places with a good steam room. The toilets are gross in the men's room - that's the real negative of this place. Hit it early morning weekdays or weekends - I would avoid after work at all costs - way too busy. Otherwise, no other major complaints, and like I said, for $50 a year I won't complain at all.

I've been going to this location for about two years now. All in all, it's acceptable for my purposes. I like the fact that they recently refurbished the steam room. It's a lot cleaner and the temperature is more consistent (I haven't seen anyone pour water on the thermostat like they used to).The showers are not maintained properly. One stall in particular has mildew that has been there for months and now looks like it is about to evolve legs and jump on a treadmill. One of the wall-mounted dryers ( a regular hand dryer, positioned high up on the wall at hair level) was non-functioning for over a year before they finally got around to fixing it.This location has parking lot security in the form of a guy in uniform that looks like it came from a thrift shop sitting around on various convenient objects and reading paperback books. I make sure to hide my valuables.

This is the dirtiest gym in town, locker rooms smell like something died and restrooms and showers have mold growing on the tiles. The floors have so much dirt, dust, and hair that if you happen to get on the floor and do a few stretches, you will vomit before you can get back up. Sure it has a pool but its full or old ladies and men using it as a kid wading pool so good luck finding a lane at any time. You have members that use the two only squat rack as a bicep curling station and good luck getting through your workout around peak hours.I could go on and on....

Great gym! The people here are very courteous and helpful... it's also a normal person gym, it's not full of narcissistic people. This gym has free classes, a hot tub, pool, wet, and dry sauna. Also is very affordable. Highly recommend! This is an older facility, but they still keep it pretty nice. Could really use one of those swimsuit wringers though ;)

I've been working out at this gym for about six months now. I think the staff is friendly and helpful. I can tell that the equipment is used but have not seen a plethora of broken equipment. I work out 4-5 times a week and have had great experiences while there. I love all the options: childcare, pool, jacuzzi, cycle room, indoor track, dark room, and the other various equipment. The only thing I don't like are the limited hours, but I can definitely work around that.

I have just started working out at this Location. I picked it initially for it's 3.5mi distance, which is great for biking to and from. The next reason I chose this place are for the amenities. They have a: pool, jacuzzi, wet/dry sauna, indoor track, great cardio area, free/cable/machine weights area and all group classes are free. They also have a convenient checkin that doesn't require you to have a card or key, but rather a stationary key paid and fingerprint scanner. They have a great juice bar. Their retail shop leaves you wishing they had more, but not a deal breaker. The staff seem nice thus far for the month I have been there. They offer personal training but I haven't delved into that program. NOTE- This location is not 24/7, but rather just on Mon-Thurs, and Friday, Sat., Sun. are till 8pm or 10pm. The locker room has nice wooden lockers, but you must bring your own lock. There are flat screen TVs in there. They have plenty of sinks and counter space with huge mirrors. I recommend this place.

I am not going to say I hate this gym, but I am not going to say I love this gym either. It does have extras such as pool, hot-tub, aerobics, yoga, and strength training classes. It doesn't have much space between the machines and as some have already mentioned, the equipment is dirty. If I could justify the cost, would I go to Pure Austin Fitness, probably, but for the same price I have a membership for two people and no contract. The 80's decor wouldn't be considered retro as the paint is quite old , but should be updated with neon stripes or something.
