Great gym. Great range and maintenance of equipment. Clean. The staff are fantastic. Although I’ve never done PT, their trainers are all very kind and respectful to members.

pros:- staff is friendly- not too crowded during off-hours- decent amount of equipmentcons:- the $9.99/mo thing is deceptive. you pay a few different other fees as well.- The music is pretty loud if you're directly under speakers (why have them? every one is on headphones).- maintenance: some of the machines are really dirty and stay that way. day lockers get stuck and left that way.- staff is super nice but seem like they're just hanging out / not too into helping you if you need help (e.g. broken machine, issue with lockers).

1st off, thank you for remaining open and showing up!I have been a loyal gym rat at this location since 2016! I have seen things through with this location to the good the bad and the pandemic. I was willing to pay even when all business were mandated to close. Although operating hours have varied, 24 hour fitness has reached out and asked for feedback through surveys via email. I have taken the opportunity to submit feedback and I can definitely see that they take everything into consideration. I’m extremely grateful for the staff members that show up to work every day. I love the level of communication and transparency. I’m very excited that we’re getting 24 hours operational hours back up and running March 7, 2022. I have not found another gym in Austin Texas with as many amenities as this one has. Indoor basketball court, free weights, classes, lifting machines, cardio machines, sauna, whirl pool, swimming pool, and steam room. They always have nice clean locker rooms. If anything is worn or broken. You can let the front desk know and they will have new or repair equipment within the week. This is one of the location that made it through. I submit my feedback through the proper channels and I feel very heard as a consumer! Keep up the great work!

Wanted to try out this location after the one near me closed down, especially with it being back to 24hrs now! Equipment definitely has some wear and tear, as expected from the other reviews here, but cleanliness in the locker room is a scare. Handicap stall had literally feces all over the floor, a urinal overflowing with urine, and a sink with dried up throw-up… probably because there aren’t any trash cans in the locker room — but still. And this was after an employee had done what I guess was supposed to be a cleanliness walk through… You’ll definitely wanna save the shower for when you get home. They need to add some more exclamation marks to their “now hiring janitorial staff” sign on their door lol

Been going for 5 months now coming from planet fitness and paying the same price place at first felt amazing that's sadly not the case anymore here's why1. It's dirty the staff kinda cleans in the morning but honestly it's more for show the men's shower has yellow stains everywhere and the same dirty brown spots on the shower glasses are still there 5 months later! It's truly disgusting luckily others like myself will clean up things staff ignores2. Everything is always broken the steam room works for 1 month then it goes down again the elevator is down scan in machines don't work and the sauna will probably go down again it's the inconsistent3. And now for the worst the staff really just not care half the time they look like they are on vacationThey don't greet you if someone ask them a question they say they don't know every single staff member has done this if these people don't care about cleaning or say idk when it's gonna get fixed why are they even there?I'm really thinking hard on cancelling my membership the price is great people are calm for the most part but it just isn't a good experience hopefully someone reads this and it's someone in charge to that person please for the love of God clean those dirty showers and train your staff better

I’ve been to a lot of 24 hour locations and this one is definitely one of the best. Obviously we can always find something to complain about but overall this location has good customer service, attentive service staff, clean and well-maintained. The pool, Jacuzzi and steam room/sauna area is great! The steam room can be down at times because people pour water on the thermostat inside which can break the heating sensor. The sauna is great, very hot and the pool is clean, perfect temperature and this area is usually not busy. The Jacuzzi was also on point, very hot (which is rare) and clean. The area might not be the best in terms of location but definitely recommend this 24 if you’re in the market for a gym. Pricing is also good, par with any other gym in the area, especially relative to what they offer.

Frequenter of 24 hr fitness, poor machine and dumbbell management. Grips are completely worn off the dumbbells with no push to get new sets. Took them 4 weeks to fix the dip machine. Sad gym management

Cancelled my membership after over a year being member because of bad manager.During pandemics I asked for freeze, place was closed. They reopened in July or August with 6ft rules and limited use. Saw a charge after reopening , asked manager for refund of that one month charge and keep freeze till amenities are fully usable not limited , managers name was OJ , refund was declined. I will still get refund with bank, but my membership is over.

Although it's not common here in TX, I think a gym should have towel service, and 24 fitness in Austin does not: -1 star. This location has good equipment including 4 cable trees, 3 2-arm free motion pully rigs, 4 squat/deadlift racks on platforms, an extensive supply of resistance bands and a turf area with battle ropes.Note that the TRX a-frame is unusually small here. The pool is open but whirlpool, steam room & sauna are all closed for Covid, as is the sport court. This gym would greatly benefit from more mirrors near a stretching/turf area. Most of the mirrors face machines where form is less of a concern: -1 star

I’ve had a great experience at this gym. Equipment is always working. The employees are super friendly, helpful and quick to address anyone not wearing masks as they’re supposed to. It’s also kept pretty clean.
