I asked if the volume could be turned down near the sauna. I was berated by the manager on duty for asking. The rest of the staff is very professional and helpful. I have never been screamed at by any staff over the last 20 years until now.Followup: The manager did reachout to me and adressed my concern. She was polite and professional.

PLEASE AVOID THIS GYM LOCATIONI would have given ZERO stars if it is an options. This is the worst gym location I have ever visited. They just know how to get money out of their customer’s pocket. Horrible staff and absolutely no professionalism.I had to cancel the gym membership as moving out of town. Reached out over an email and theh said there is 30 days written jotice even though they advertise “NO COMMITMENT”. I did that and cancelled the membership. After few days, I contacted the facility about the false charge on my account. I figured the card in file was wrong and they never updated it. Anyway I had to pay $20 extra. And i sent them email back saying “rescind the membership”. But after that email they reinstate the membership. I think they should take english classes, as they can not tell difference between rescind the membership and rescind the cancellation request. The branch manager won’t attend any phone calls as she knew it was her mistake and willingly avoid phone calls and ask some other front desk staff to ignore my conversation. When called the customer service number, they said you need to contact branch manager. This is worst service I ever had. I would recommend please avoid this location, they are just hungry for money. On top of it, the equipments are rustic and not cleaned at all.

I usually really like this location. I haven’t had any issues here before. The gym is usually pretty clean, but they do run out of sanitation spray regularly. The one thing I do have to warn against is buying anything from their shop. When buying a pair of pants for someone as a gift, my friend and I specifically asked for the return policy because the person wasn’t with us to try on or look at the pants we were getting. We were both told “oh just bring your receipt back and it won’t be a problem, I’ll even email it to you to make it easy.” Turns out the pants didn’t fit. I try to bring them back and am told that they only do exchanges. I called over the girl that told me otherwise the day before and was met with a lot of attitude when she said “I said exchanges.” I even called my friend who was with me to ask if they were told that or if I’m just crazy. They said nothing about exchanges was mentioned. The staff continued to give me “well that’s your problem,” type attitude about it and even mentioned that the sign has the policy. So, if you plan on buying anything, make sure you read the sign and don’t listen to anything the employees tell you because you will basically be shrugged at if you expect them to uphold what you were told.

Read the other negative reviews. I’m really disappointed with how this branch is handling cancellations during COVID. No help. I see others have been charged even after cancelling. I signed a one year agreement that should have ended in January. Because they closed for 3 months, they extended my contract to help themselves. Corporate greed at its finest.I haven’t been in since the pandemic broke out and, based on some of the other reviews, that was probably for the best. It appears this location has not been the cleanest.Save yourself the money and headache.

What an awful, no good, very bad gym experience.Yes, I signed up at the beginning of 2020. Yes the pandemic hit. No I did not feel okay working out in an enclosed space with questionable ventilation and poor mask wearing skills among customers. I have been freezing my account since March 2020 (hoping that this pandemic would be over), but finally needed to cancel when BOTH OF MY PARENTS CAUGHT COVID AND ALMOST DIED.I have communicated with a team at "North Customer Care" in Austin, which told me that under my circumstances, I could cancel for the $100 Early Termination fee. Yet, I keep getting called and emailed DAILY to pay a shady $53 Retail fee, so I called to ask them to stop, as I was on track to cancel my membership when I was available to do so in person, like they ask you to.I call the closest Gold's to me to ask for these harassing calls and emails to stop, only to be told by the manager at the Anderson Mill location in Austin that not only do I not have the privilege of paying the Early Term fee, but that I am indebted to them to pay the shady Retail fee and will keep getting harassing calls and emails until I do so. Apparently that $100 only applied to people within their one-year contract signing date, and mine was a few days past? But I had correspondence from North Customer Care just seven days ago telling me this was the quickest and easiest way I could close my account so I can focus on taking care of my family. Not only that, but because my membership was apparently "renewed," I would owe them a month's Membership fees in addition to the Retail fee and the Early Termination fee. Um....why?The manager at Anderson Mill was so cold. She was so rude to me when I asked for help, human to human. It was confusing being told conflicting info, especially when I am taking time to try to make things right on my end.At the end of the day, this is a GYM and they are going to try to squeeze every last dime out of you, whether you step foot in it or not.Gold's - I know you don't care but I will never go back to your facilities again. You chose short-term profits over long-term viability, and I can't wait to see you go out of business.*Edit: Now reported to the Better Business Bureau. I encourage you all to do the same!

This location is one of the cleanest I have seen. The employees are friendly and very welcoming also with, state of the àrt equipment. No basketball court or punching bad, but still worth the workout. I will very definitely return.

One of the cleaner Gold's in the area. They also do a good job of getting equipment repaired quickly.

There is a reverse hyper machine here.. If you like powerlifting or Louie Simmons, that should be enough to convince you to join.

The swimming pools are not open. The weights and cardio areas are really clean.
