Really appreciate the professionalism, patience, and flexibility. I signed up in order to establish healthier habits, learn proper form and a different type of exercise than I have done in the past, and work back up to a baseline level of fitness. I'm positive I picked the right place.Have worked with two trainers, plus the initial meeting with Matthew to discuss goals and form a plan. They definitely educate and collaborate *with* you rather than dictating to you, which has been great.Starting from couch potato office worker I know it will be a slog, but after just over a month, I have already noticed that I can do a lot more and I have more energy.The facility itself is small but VERY thoughtfully equipped, and they do a great job of traffic control so that anyone training at the same time as someone else stays fully focused on their own workout. Overall I think the size of the place is a "plus."

I’m so fortunate to have found Matt and his team for their weight training and diet expertise. Nate as a personal trainer has been amazing and I highly recommend Heavy Mettle Fitness.

I am very happy with my trainer Nate at Heavy Mettle Fitness. I see the transformation in my body. Nate pays attention to small but important details about the posture during the exercise. I never had pain in the wrong muscles. Highly recommend to join the Heavy Mettle Fitness team.

This team definitely makes PT personal. I was skeptical signing up for personal training as I've been working out alone for over 10 years. I wasnt sure id be learning anything new. I have also noticed many personal trainers around town who are not in shape (you know what they say "never trust a skinny chef"). These guys are not like that at all. They practice what they preach and they know what they are talking about. They used a science based approach which is perfect for an analytical mind like mine. I'm already feeling better about my fitness journey and am excited to keep going. I'd also mention that the bang for your buck is definitely there. You can spend a lot more for PT but I don't think the quality goes up from Heavy Mettle. Thanks guys!

I'm so glad I came to Heavy Mettle Fitness! I was initially hesitant to join any person fitness journey, as I have been fairly active on my own over the last decade. However, I was struggling to make the progress I wanted no matter what I was doing. My wife convinced me to give personal training a go and I'm so glad she did. The HMF team has been very supportive and encouraging throughout my five months with them. I've made lifestyle changes with their help that have aided me in reaching my goals. I've learned to love working out again because it makes me stronger, rather than just worrying about what the number on the scale says (though I've made good progress there too)! Kevin is my current PT and we get along great and he's always flexible with with my schedule. He's programmed workouts I do on my own in addition to the ones I do with him during the week. We have a great time during our sessions, talking about music or other weekend plans, but I also always feel like I'm getting the most out of my workout, never cutting corners. We also discuss nutrition whenever I have questions. I've also had the pleasure of working with Adrien as well and the two sessions I had with him were also fantastic. Both trainers made sure to work around my lower back issue and I've definitely felt a lot less pain this past year! Matt, the lead trainer, checks on my nutrition weekly and that's great to have the accountability. He originally did a free consultation with me to discuss my goals and current level. I'll be honest, you're only going to get out as much as you give, but this team is here to support that when you're ready. I didn't want to rush progress this time, and I'm so glad I did. I'm learning a new healthy lifestyle on my own pace with them and plan to continue for quite some!

I am a 50+ year old man that has been not taking good care of myself for years. When looking for a personal trainer I needed someone that could modify workouts to accommodate past injuries.Matt took his time and made a custom workout designed just for me and unlike the past where I would work out wrong or to hard, I have not had a lifting injury.If your looking for a small well equipped gym with a duper friendly and understanding staff, don't look anywhere else.My wife has started working out with Matt and we are both able to get custom workouts.Thank you for your time.

I started going to Heavy Mettle Fitness 3 months ago to help get my fitness journey back on track. Matt matched me with a great personal trainer, Adrian Maggione, who helped me get back in track and pushed me to lift heavy. I've seen significant strength and definition gains. I'd recommend Heavy Mettle Fitness to anyone who's serious about getting back in shape.

This gym is awesome and so is the staff! Matt the owner takes the time to sit down with each member and really listen to your goals and come up with a personalized plan to help you achieve those goals. He also continues to check in with you as you go to make sure you are satisfied with your training, which is something most gyms don’t do. I had the pleasure of training with Drake who was super nice and encouraging. I appreciate that he took into consideration all of my previous and current injuries as well as the sports I play. He helped me so much and helped improve my performance in soccer just from our sessions! The gym is smaller and intimate which is nice because it doesn’t make you feel intimidated like some other gyms do! If you’re new to working out or just looking to improve certain areas of your workouts or need someone keep you accountable, this is your place! Thank you guys again!
