Highly recommend! I had never done personal training and experienced immediate value. The team is here is awesome and truly wants their clients to see results and succeed. Plus the facility is nice, clean, and incredibly convenient. Big fan all around.

I've been training at Heavy Mettle for over a month now and my experience has been amazing. Huge shoutout to Matt and my trainer Drake for putting together a customized program to meet my goals. I've been going to Heavy Mettle for over a year now. This is my 2nd experience with a personal trainer, and I must say, my experience so far is miles above my first one. Matt and his team are genuinely good people that have created an environment that I look forward to going to twice a week. There are no judgements. Matt and the other trainers are consistently pushing me to get stronger while keeping the conversations light and friendly. In my time going here, I have toned up, lost 20 lbs, and I feel stronger overall which lines up with the increase in weight I'm lifting. I'm looking forward to continuing my training with these guys for the foreseeable future. Definitely recommend!!

I’ve been a member with Heavy Mettle Fitness for about two months now and they are simply awesome! I am definitely a beginner and my personal trainer Drake keeps note of it and develops the training plan accordingly. They give you good information about the “why” and “how” as well which is very crucial and definitely helps me! Definitely recommend these guys!

I sought out Heavy Mettle Fitness to help me focus on body composition (to regain muscle post-menopause). Both Kevin and Matt offer solid nutritional advice (no quick fixes or gimmicks) along with tried and true exercises to help me meet my goals. The gym is clean and everyone is super friendly. I love working with Matt and Kevin. They are the best personal trainers in Austin. I have been working with them for almost 5 months. I hadn't been back in the gym in almost 4 years. They worked me back in gradually and made me feel comfortable. Now I feel the difference in strength, endurance, and I am down almost 20 lbs.

I’ve been training with this group for about a month now and the experience has been nothing but positive in all categories. Great staff that understands the science of a proper and progressive workout routine with good form and technique. I have seen better results in one month with these guys than anything I’ve ever done in the gym on my own time... That’s just the shocking truth. They know what they are doing around here.

My experience with Heavy Mettle has been great. When I reached out to Matt, I had just received the green light from my doctor to get back into the gym after knee surgery. Matt and I sat down and discussed my fitness and health goals. From that conversation, Matt designed a personalized training program that had much more value than anything I could have done on my own in a gym. In addition, Matt gave me information about how to manage my exercise and diet on a daily basis. I followed his advice and my weight dropped from 259 on August 17th to 220 at the time I'm writing this (Dec. 7th). Now, after all this rapid fat weight loss, my weight is stabilizing. I'm now enjoying settling into the next phase, in which my focus is on building strength and lean muscle mass, while my body fat percentage continues to decline. I could go on. It comes down to this: I'm leaving the highest possible review of Heavy Mettle.
