Right off the bat, I knew I had found an amazing trainer in Matt. He has been an excellent source of knowledge and motivation, and has readily and enthusiastically adapted to my changing goals over the course of my training journey. I have made exponential progress working with him from both a strength and body recomposition perspective. He has pushed me to be the best version of myself. I wouldn't be where I am, and I certainly wouldn't have stepped onto the stage in my first bodybuilding competitions, without his support and effort! You won't regret training with Matt at Heavy Mettle Fitness, not for a second.

Matt is such a great trainer and everybody at this gym is friendly and nice. I was a definite beginner with weight training when I started. I went with the specific goal of increasing upper body strength and over the past couple of months, he has helped me make great progress! He always listens and ensures you will not get injured and get what you need. And I always feel comfortable with everybody at the gym. The whole community there is very encouraging.

After two years of physical therapy to treat a spine injury, I sought a personal trainer to help me regain my core strength, build muscle, and shed a few pounds.  I chose Matt to be my coach, and thankful I did.   Now in my fourth month of training, I have lost over 15 pounds and continue to lift weights I never thought I'd be able to.  I'm pain-free, stronger, and feel great. Matt is great! Super professional and motivated to keep his clients on their toes. Every training session I have, he pushes me 120%. He is constantly teaching me more about fitness and new ways of seeing those results! I train with him about 2-3 times a week and I always look forward to the workouts.I always leave feeling sore but amazing after the workouts.
