This is definitely not one of your mass chain gyms, like a 24hr sport or LA fitness. This place has a really good selection of equipment in a wide variety of layouts. There is the traditional cardio section, weight room, stretching zone, high altitude training room, indoor and outdoor pool, a few different fitness studios, a climbing wall and a multi purpose cross fit area. There really is something for everyone. The staff are friendly, I've never had to wait for a cardio machine and there is a good vibe here for working out. The only negative thing I could think of is the locker rooms and hot tub area are a bit dated, but otherwise this place is a solid choice for workouts.

Today I and my family are no longer members at ClubSport Oregon due to their intolerant treatment of my autistic brother at the pool. With three kids in swimsuits my step mom checked in at the front desk and headed to the pool. (Where they should have notified them the pool was closed for a private event)They got there and the kids were swimming, she noticed a buffet and asked a staff waitress if it was something they do special for Friday nights or one of their summer promotions- instead of being told “oh, sorry this is a private event. I’m going to have to ask you to please exit the pool area.”She was reported as crashing the event and was treated as someone who broke in as opposed to a paying member who just made a mistake. To make matters worse the on call manager, a large man- came up to them as my step mom was trying to get Adam out of the pool. Kids with autism take more time and the more aggressive you are the worse it becomes. The man aggressively continued to insist they leave immediately and even followed them out of the pool area and all the way into the hallway. Remarks were made insinuating they crashed for the free food as though they couldn’t afford a meal & made further agitated remarks towards my brother as he was taking a bit more time to exit. Moreover, His overbearing display created a physical intimidation towards a mother and her child with a disability that was entirely uncalled for. They are paying members who were absolutely compliant. My step mother asked his name and he flipped his name tag so she couldn’t read it and then he threatened to sue her if she took a photo. This is a manager mind you- his name is Jason. I went with my father to cancel today and Jason is not taking any responsibility. He has insisted that he was calm and respectful towards my step mother and brother despite the number of witnesses of those we know who saw otherwise. This is obviously close to home for me because it was my brother- but even so I don’t believe anyone should be treated like this. This was grossly blown out of proportion by their staff and I’m so disgusted in it that I had to post. I love their facilities and classes, but their total lapse of customer service is unacceptable. We will be taking our business elsewhere.

Very nice facility with Pool, climbing wall, basketball courts, etc. Cons are no running track and ridiculous price!

Friendly staff, with a broad selection of amenities. They lose a star however because the sound proofing around their Yoga rooms leaves much to be desired; with the sound and bass from the high intensity sessions next door often bleeding through.

I lowered my review to two stars here is why.I have been a member here for at least four years maybe as many as six. The good news is that ClubSport has helped me drop 40lbs and go from almost needing blood pressure meds to not. It is a very nice facility. So why the low rating? My spend with ClubSport is likely over $9,000 a year and more likely $12,000 due to using a personal trainer there three times a week.ClubSport has very bad accounting and customer service processes. In addition, once they were called out on this they totally dropped the ball again (pun intended) and did not apologize until I specifically pointed out that they had not, nor did they make even the slightest effort to make it right by providing even the smallest consideration to me. I hasten to add I am totally current with them and have been.I do not know about you but sometimes I lose my credit card or even have it hacked. This time it was hacked while I was in Thailand. The card company was on the ball and cut it off. Clubsports will insist you give them access to your account..ie no credit here at all. Ok fine. But, when the card was cut off they sent me an email to let me know I was behind because the card had been stopped. Number one, that sooo went into my spam folder and second I get 40 emails an hour at times. So, it ended up that I owed ClubSport a whole $350 or so. Instead of calling me, they told my youngest son that I owed them money and then refused to let him in the club. WHAT??? Oh did I mention I am newly divorced and relationships with children are important. So, I decided I needed to bring this to the attention of management. I met with a very nice woman who listened and admitted “that is not our policy.” Yet, never said, “I am sorry” or offered to as much as buy me a cup of coffee. The next thing that happened is that I was called by the head of accounting. Nice person but…she said she was sorry that they had not called me as opposed to emailing me. Good thought but wrong problem. It was clear to me that the accounting person had not been told what the real issue was which was telling my son that I owned them $350.00. It was reasonably clear to me that the first person I talked to had some type of oversight of the front desk who had told my son his dad was essentially a “deadbeat.” The first employee instead of taking any responsibly had tried to make it sound like this was an accounting problem. Now a comment on my other accounting issues with ClubSport. As I mentioned, I have been paying dearly to do personal training. At times paying over $3,000 at a time to buy lower cost blocks. They asked me “do you want to put that on your account?” Are you kidding me..of course I do. Then at the end of the month they will just charge my credit card. So I get an almost 60 day float. BUT, when I said “yes” to this offer which they made, they refused because my credit limit was only $500. Keep in mind they are authorized to charge the card at any time. This is a highly competitive business. Due to all this I started to shop. LA Fitness has a brand new facility one exit down I-5 from ClubSport. I went in and learned I could solve my ClubSport problems by paying, get this…$500 for an entire YEAR. A YEAR. I do not want to say how large a saving that is but it is HUGE.ClubSport is at the top of the charts here. Good on them. They are also by far the “premium cost” club out here as well. In my dealings with them I do not feel like I am a valuable customer at all. I know I know, the most valued customers they have are the ones that pay each month and never show up. After than tier I think people like me are important to their business. At no time in all this did I ever hear from anyone in overall management at Clubsport. That shows me that they are out of touch with their business and not going in the right direction. BYE CLUBSPORT.

This place is wonderful. Members only and is usually not too crowded. There is plenty of space and equipment. Basketball, rock climbing, classes, pools (outdoor and indoor) and the best is 2 hours of daycare daily for the children to allow you time to work out. Their day care staff is great and the kids love going too.

My second time here. Took my son rock climbing. This facility accommodates pretty much everything you can think of including a place to eat called citrus. Very spacious and friendly. I know I need to come here more often to get a better understanding but so far so good.
