Planet Fitness

Things didn't work out for me and Planet Fitness and so when I decided I would cancel, you have to bring in a signed letter of cancellation or send it certified mail, they informed me I would still be responsible for $39.99 annual fee. I asked to see where I signed to this, they could not show me. In any case, I paid $60 for 2 month membership to a fitness club with limited space to even do sit-ups. I really feel like their practice of taking the annual fee is unscrupulous, especially when I only have been a member 6 weeks. I have no recollection of signing for a fee like that, furthermore, I was sick for 10 days and there was no way I was going to send a signed cancellation or bring one with as sick as I was. I expressed this to them and they could CARE LESS. This place clearly does not care about the health of its members, just how they will take in your cash from your pocket. I DO NOT recommend this gym do to their business practices.

I have had nothing but a great time at PF Sherwood. I appreciate the sanitation stations & app displaying how crowded it is in real time. I have found the staff, who all seem to be very young teenagers, to not be the most welcoming or helpful. I was treated as though I was interrupting their convo when I came to the desk post-work out with some questions. Regardless, the gym is fantastic and I am so grateful I signed up! 10/10 recommend.

I started going to this gym at the end of January and had an incredible experience with the staff being warm and welcoming. I've had the exact opposite experience the last few times I've gone. The energy from the staff has changed from laid back to uptight and judgemental. 2 months ago when I joined I was informed I can bring a guest who will have access to massage chairs and hydro-massage, most recently I was told my guest is only allowed one trial. This is not only confusing but makes it an uncomfortable situation when my guest and I are at the counter. The staff all stand in a group laughing and judging everyone coming in. I witnessed a male staff member behind the counter laughing at a patron entering the gym. When given a look, he replied "I'm not laughing at you" with a bad attitude. Not only is this incredibly unprofessional but it also goes against the judgment free motto plastered all over the gym. With all the changes in the rules, I am left wondering if there was a management change or per staff discretion. It is clear that management is lacking and needs refining; if this does not happen this planet fitness will see a huge decrease in memberships myself included.

The staff here is incredible! They are all really kind and welcoming and make it a nice place to workout. The trainer they have on-staff, Bordin, is absolutely awesome and has helped me immensely on my fitness journey. I would highly recommend this place to anyone! The price is right and the staff really make it great.

I enjoy this gym very much! Such a great atmosphere and awesome equipment. I really appreciate that the front desk greets you when you enter and exit the gym. I only wish they were open 24 hours on the weekends, though! Otherwise, a very excellent place to reach your goals!

Whichever way the wind blows they change the goal posts and bow down to Brown. You cannot ask legally peoples medical condition, health or proof of it. Bye PF!!

Great place if you could ban Cell phones. Too many youngsters hogging up equipment on snap chat. Just trying to get the work out done. Not hang out.

Really awesome, just a bit small. I recommend! Super clean nice people. Great Amenities and location!
