The gym hasn’t had a single paper towel in the men’s bathroom or on the floor of the gym in the last 2 weeks. This has to go against Massachusetts health and safety standards and shouldn’t happen in a city gym.The price of milk goes up and the gym stops buying paper and caring about people’s health. Not being able to clean the sweaty machines leads to the spread of germs/viruses.And for that reason I have canceled my membership with BSC.

This location has gone downhill. The men's locker room needs to reinstate the handles so that ALL showers are made available for the high volume of members who need to shower following their workout. They need to also replace the missing shower curtains so that members can shower in privacy. Open and display shower concepts have gone out of style. This has been mentioned to many of the staff members several times. BSC can afford to replace shower curtains. They can be purchased at the dollar store for a dollar or $1.25. moreover, please reinstate the handles on all of the showers so that all the members can shower in a timely fashion and not have to wait for it available shower following their workout.

No towels even though it’s supposed to be a great gym. I asked about why there were no towels today and they came up with every excuse other than just taking responsibility for their customers satisfaction. I literally had to use my sweaty shirt to dry off before going into work. I will be switching gyms.

Update to 1 star: my wife canceled our membership, as we were going out of town for two months, but they reverted and charged us. We called, they said they canceled, and charged again. Then they changed the policy and charged us for an inactive account $5/mo and charged from a partial credit. Thankfully Planet Fitness is now here. I wish I had a better customer service experience.Update to 2 stars: half the treadmills are brokenOriginal 3 star review:Decent gear, decent location, but not open very long. They close at 4 on the weekend!

I called ahead about a day pass and was told that it was $15, which I paid for two days of visits, but when I came for the third day, I was charged $30. The person at the front desk said that he would check with the manager and then call me, but he never did. I then called later in the day and was told that the manager was in meetings, but would call me back. But he never did. The club itself is very average in terms of amenities and machines. Feels very used and not really worth a $15 day pass. $30 is outrageous and this poor customer service is also so disappointing. Far better gyms are available in Boston!

Save your time and energy and go elsewhere. This team is unprofessional and inexperienced. Took a week and 6 phone calls with 4 ppl incl. the manager (major red flag) to get one confirmation email about a membership cancellation. An actual joke.

My friend got scammed by this gym.Canceled in January, the front desk confirmed but told her their printer broke so didn’t give receipt to her.My friend found they still deduct money from her bank account each month and they refused refund and ask for a yearly cancelation fee up to $100.

I read some awful reviews at Yelp and was nearly tempted to join in, because I had an issue with payment dates (different for club use and training) and freeze times when I am not in town. But talking to the management cleared everything up and my demand of having one payment date is on it's way. I am using the Club at Prudential and find the staff very friendly, starting with the receptionist and ending my extraordinary trainer (Steven Gonzales). Very sensitive to any potential problems you might encounter in your daily life (like a fall that caused shoulder problems), adjusting training after a time of no training etc.I also respect the work of the cleaning and maintenance staff, that tries hard to be on top of issues.Unfortunately I have to add to this review, because the situation totally changed. Due to the pandemic the previous management of the Club has changed. And that needs a total revision of regarding clearing up differences in billing. I am trying since mid March to cancel my membership and say insist not to do so, because they wouldn't accept a cancellation via e-mail - how else could you contact during a pandemic. After 5 month they contacted me to pay up membership fees and I refused to provide them with valid CC information. Behind my back they received my valid info obviously from Visa. My bank informed me that it's very hard to get a stop payment decision from Visa. WARNING TO EVERYBODY DON"T TRUST WITH YOU CC INFO!

WARNING - did not process pandemic cancels and will not let you cancel online or over the phoneEven though they set up an inbox to process cancellations, and I sent a cancellation request back in April, it turns out they did not process my cancellation and decided to stealthily resume charging my credit card in July.I called to get this resolved but they won't let me cancel over the phone or over email. This is ridiculous because I am no longer living near here due to the pandemic and who knows how long they'll take to process my request via letter.Threatened to send me to collections because I'm disputing their clerical error. Good. Let's fight this out.
