The gym is nice and clean but it gets crazy packed during busy times which isn’t necessarily surprising.Had problems with front desk staff not being at the front desk multiples times when I actually needed something and when I find front desk staff, they’re either lifting weights with their friends or playing basketball. Kind of frustrating when you need to deadlift and the only available deadlift platform is being taken up by front desk staff on duty.

I had a contract with this gym and it ended in Feb. I walked in to the Bryan town center location on Dec 9 2021 to cancel my subscription. I spoke with the manager and after she tried to get me to renew I politely declined and she had me sign a cancellation form. I went a month early just to ensure that my cancellation would be valid and I would not have to worry about it. Manager advised I would still get charged in January which was my last 12th payment but that I would not get charged in February because it would be canceled by then. Come to find out they lost my cancellation form and now here I am stuck with a charge feb 10 that needs to be refunded because it was not my fault someone lost my cancellation form back in December. Contacted them numerous times and they still could not help me in any way. Got charged another 2 extra months as I had to go back and sign another cancellation form. Please take a picture of your cancellation form as others have experienced the same issue.

Update—charged again! If this is not made right, I will purse contacting the BBB. Don’t waste your time or money at this placeCame back to edit original review. What a joke. Lied to about charges, excuses made. Was warned by many about this place. Wish I’d listened. Cancelled membership, multiple charges to account and then told “oh it’s because you signed up for this..” no I didn’t. Get everything in writing even if you have to take pictures. Then they tried to misdate my cancellation form. BBB needs to be called on then

It was aight! I liked that it was clean I hope they keep up with that. The staff at the front doesn’t seem to friendly I didn’t get a hi or bye. Therefore, it wasn’t really welcoming like the southwest parkway location. However the equipment and the atmosphere was clean and sanitized which is also really important.

I signed up online and I came in for more information. I came in and talked to Aujah and she was very thorough and informative. A lady named Rosie said hello to me when i walked in and she has the most amazing energy!! Love this place!!

I've been a member of TruFit for three years and recently decided to take advantage of the personal trainer program. One of the best decisions I have made in years. My trainer is extremely knowlegeable and personable. To date I couldn't be more satisfied with the results of my tri-weekly workouts.

I bought memberships for my daughter and her friend. For over a year. When we needed to postpone/cancel, they gave us the runaround and would not quit charging my bank account. When I persisted they started ignoring me. They’ve literally overcharged for four months now. They won’t give you the general managers number either. Cowards and cheats they are. I was a happy customer and likely to return until they acted like cheats. Trufit May be a good gym but beware of these unscrupulous people. They’ll take your money. Pathetic.

steals your money even after you cancel your membership. DO NOT GO. i canceled my membership after a month and got charged $70 for an annual fee FOR A GYM MEMBERSHIP I CANCELED. i called the headquarters and talked to a manager at the gym in town and they were both no help at all. they could not care less about their guests. golds gym is the place to go.

Updating my review. After I posted this original review, I was promptly contacted by someone and they agreed to refund my charges.Be careful with this company. I signed up for a free 7 day FREE trial and cancelled within 4 days. I found out they charged me 5 days later and then another charge a month after that. I talked to 6 different people before I found someone who could help. They told me I signed a contract and would not take off any charges. When I initially signed up and then cancelled, they specifically told me I would not be charged. They ended up charging me around $110 and would not refund me.The location has equipment that doesn't work (7 different treadmills I tried had something broken). Staff was rude and nobody could help me with this issue. They wouldn't even give me the phone number to talk with the General Manager. I'm appalled by this company and don't recommend them at all.

Kendall Boggan was unbelievably helpful when I went to this TruFit location. She was energetic and engaged and you could tell she really loved her job. They are lucky to have such a great employee.
