Great 24 hour fitness facility. Tucked away behind the Burbank empire. Equipment is good. Swim, hoops, exercise. Has it all as a super sport

5 stars for the awesome Zumba instructors. 0 stars for the lack of cleanliness. This place is the dirtiest gym. The. Dirtiest. Gym. Oh yeah, btw there are flies around the bathing suit drying machine and roaches in the pool area. Grrrrrreat! They're clearly cutting the budget by not cleaning at all. Ever.

If you're thinking of going somewhere else that's your better bet. This place is filthy, dust inches thick on the vents, empty paper towel holders and very few spray bottles so no one wipes down machines. Their towel service is the worst, today I got all the way there to swim and was told there would be no towels for the rest of the night. One washer had been broken for a week and the other broke today. They said, "It's an inconvenience for us too." It may be INCONVENIENT for them but I PAY to be a member and am basically screwed. If you can't fix equipment in a timely manner than send the laundry service out to be done off site. Cardio machines broken for weeks, classes that are mediocre at best, certainly not worth almost $600 a year.

The women's locker room and showers have ventilation problems. It's always too hot in there and excessively steamy. This results in a build up of mold. It's impossible to dry your hair in this environment. I've complained to the company about this and received an email from the location operations manager saying that they had problems, but have fixed it. Not so. I've sent emails and have made subsequent contact with 24 Hour Fitness as well as the "operations manager" requested that I do when the environment is no better and have not received one response.There are numerous similar reviews with similar complaints about this location from women. There has been no remedy. I suppose the next step will be to bring up this apparent health issue with the appropriate agencies and local news channels.

Just signed up to 24 hr fitness Burbank and I am already regretting it. First of all, in the two weeks that I have been there the womans locker room has always been dirty. I am pretty sure, I have never seen anyone cleaning ever and I have been there during the morning, daytime and evening time. The bathroom door stalls don't lock and there is always dirty tampons or gross stuff just sitting there. The equipment is worn out and outdated. There is no rules being enforced as it looks like a preschool with a bunch of toddlers leaving equipment all over the place, except where they need to be. Fit classes often start late or people are walking in and out as if nothing is going on. If you are more than 10 mins late to a class they should not be allowed to walk into the class and disturb everyone else. The cardio machines are often not working or being fixed. The pool area is gross and it was one of the reasons why I signed up to begin with and now there is no way in hell that I would get in that water. I am sorry but I am paying for an overall experience and so far this experience is not what I expected. So if you don't care about any of this then go ahead and sign up. Don't say I did not warn you.

This gym is pretty big and has good equipment but there's something wrong more frequently than I would like. Like the a/c is busted and the side with the weights smells horrible due to lack or air circulation, or the pool filtration system is broken and the water looks super murkyBut when things are working its great. This gym can get packed in the evening around 7-10, and a the parking spaces gets filled. For the most part I have no issues and the staff seem to be friendly and helpful. I got my membership through Costco so I didn't have to deal with any sales people.

THIS GYM RIPS PEOPLE OFF! So when I spoke ot someone at this location about signing up I said the only way I would do it is if I can cancel at anytime with no fees or penalties. The person assured me I could, so I signed up. BIG MISTAKE.I only worked out at this gym twice. It stinks of chlorine and on my second visit I heard an employee make a rude remark to another employee about one of the members in regards to his weight. It was derogatory and mean.I decided to cancel, and big shock, I was told I would have to pay $150. I was lied to.I called customer service and they told me that this gym has received a number of complaints. The issue has still not been resolved. I had to cancel my debit card so these asses couldn't charge me. The manager will not call me back, so I am going to have to contact the regional manager it seems.Trust me, there are much better gyms in Burbank than this over-priced stink pit of a liar's den.

I finally became a member of 24hour fitness member after years at LA fitness. I have visited the super sport in Glendale and the gym in Burbank so far. I mainly play basketbalI and i really like how their are 6 hoops to shoot at on the basketball court compared to only two at la fitness. The facility is clean and nice. The Glendale gym gets pretty crowded though but i kind of like that. It encourages me to see other people working to reach their goal. Ive noticed that there are far more beautiful people that go to 24hour compared to LA fitness :)

I live in San Diego and go to the 24 at the UTC Mall and I have never ran into any problems there. Here, the machines are out of order, they have no good water filling stations, their weights are always in the incorrect order or on the floor, and the machines are all death traps. I got my right hand cut by cables that don't have the black lining anymore so they will snap at any time. The locker rooms water extractor never works and the jacuzzi sometimes doesn't work either. I'm not rating this place lower than 2 since it's a nice gym but as a super sport and 24 you need to constantly maintain your facilities

I have been going to this 24 Hour Fitness pretty much since it opened. I like it here a lot. I go to the gym and do my thing. No place is perfect and you got all kinds of personalities that may conflict with you and yours. I've met a lot of cool people here. Some friendly and some not. It's ok though. Again, my purpose is to improve my body the way I want it to be and leave. I have read a lot of the comments and it seems to be pretty negative and they have their right to say whatever. My experience has been great because I mind my own business. The ones I've become cool with, I approach and talk to as well as a few staff members that are truly nice to me. I will keep on coming here because this gym has been good to me.
