Hello, my name is Kevin and this gym has been one of the most comfortable places I have ever been to. Please thank Paul (morning staff), this gentleman has done everything for everyone. His calm professional welcoming demeanor makes this place home. I wish I had more time to tell you how much I love this place, but this will have to do for now. The cleanliness at this facility is disturbing. There are hair balls, dust, dirt, sand and most disturbingly fleas in this facility. I have mentioned this to staff. I suppose they lack understanding. The equipment is never wiped down and is neglected like everything else in this facility. The funny thing is that there is at minimum 3 staff on the clock from 7 pm until 5pm standing or leaning on the desk chatting and checking people in.Do better North Fort Myers.

Small gym but great place to work out at. Obviously it does not have squat racks and many of the free weights you’d find at a bigger gym. However, the staff is great and friendly, the gym is always clean, and mostly empty (at least the times when I’ve been there mainly in the noon).

Been going here a while. It’s cheap and close to home… but today was the last straw I think. The place is usually pretty dirty and not very big so people are closer than I’m comfortable with. Today, we went in as usual, but no staff were seen. There was a sign saying “use walkie” if someone needed to speak to a staff member. Everyone was scanning themselves into the gym, and a lot of people were just walking in. People were waiting at the desk, including me, to get into the tanning bed. I used the walkie to get some help… and when he finally show up 10 minutes later I got all set up and went back to tan. I waited in the room for 20 minutes for the tanning booth to turn on. No luck. Went out to find the staff member for help and he was no where to be found. I chose to leave since it was getting late at that point. Could have been staffing issues, but regardless my tanning bed never even got activated. And the gym is always dusty, unclean and not the greatest. Probably finding a new gym after today.

I’ve been coming bets for 2 years. Always loved it. However?l, ever since Ricky left, the place is a joke. I used to see them cleaning and sanitizing all the time. Not anymore. The place is filthy. Dust all over the black wall boards, machines dusty and filthy on the bottom, dirty medicine balls, several times I’ve open the woman’s locker to discover someone have left their things in there, only to discover they’ve left them in there for weeks, telling me that the staff is not cleaning or sanitizing the locker rooms EVER.Not to mention the blasting of music up front, down equipment, your employees sit up from doing nothing while we check ourselves in. And don’t ever ask for help…they act like they know nothing and just panic. Y’all need to do better.

Unlike the franchise in the Cape on Del Prado, this place is clean, always has towels and sanitizer available and most importantly the staff knows how to treat clients. Thank you. If your time allows, please give some pointers on cleanliness and professionalism to the Cape franchise. WELL DONE FOLKS!

By far the absolute best, cleanest, friendliest club I've been to in the North Fort myers, Fort Myers and Cape Coral area. It's the brightest light wise, the staff is the most engaging, and since it's under New Management it is spotless. I walked in yesterday and everybody in the staf fcleaning. They were doing the floors the equipment they did the tables the restrooms everything is very very clean and it's very nice to know that they care enough about us to offer a clean and sanitary place to work out. I was very excited when all the televisions were synchronized to the proper stations and I could get the music because that's very important to me when I'm on a 45 to 60 minutes workout on a treadmill or when I'm using the Arc trainers and or the ellipticals. Thank you very much for caring about us new management.I tell my clients about you all the time, I did prior to the changes and I'm going to continue to do more so now. Thanks again I look forward to my workouts here at the Merchants Crossing Planet Fitness club in North Fort myers. 👍

Great, clean, spacious and organized facility. Reminds me of my home PF. Been on the road for about 4 months and visited many PF’s. This is the 3rd PF in the Ft. Meyers area I’ve been too and by far the best so far. Great employees that were friendly and helpful. Also the regular members were very sociable and polite.Thank you for a great workout

I've been rocking with pf for years. I've been to pfs all over the country. This is absolutely the nastiest, most filthy gym I've ever been in. I usually work out across town and they have a cleaning crew every single night so I thought they all did late night cleaning. I am certain this place hasn't been cleaned since the start of the pandemic 2.5 years ago. Pf North Fort Myers, I used to own a cleaning service. We should sit down and talk. No, seriously. I was going to take a shower but nah, I'm good. 🤢🤮😷

When this gym first open, it was spotless and all the machines actually worked. Now this location is absolutely disgusting. The floors are filthy, along with the bathrooms. Half the machines don’t work and haven’t in weeks. The clock on the wall has been broken for weeks as well. The employees don’t care and when you enter are either on their phones or sitting on the counter. More then half the time the internet is down so you can’t scan your membership. The parking lot is pitch black in the mornings, and is very dangerous considering there is a tremendous amount of homeless people that hang around there, and half the parking lot is now blocked off. Recently I paid my yearly fee of 43 dollars, but I’m not exactly sure why I pay that when I don’t get the level of service I should. The entire staff needs to be replaced before this location goes under. There are newer gyms offering the same rates with classes. Planet fitness needs to step up their game!
