I’ve been coming to this gym for about 6 months- it’s perfectly fine for the price but I wish the staff would enforce gym etiquette more or at least help clean up the disaster that the free weights section has become.90% of the time the weights are all over the place because people don’t re-rack any of the dumbbells. They are literally scattered EVERYWHERE. I have even found them in the sauna and in the restroom. And if people DO put them back- they will stick their 50 lb weights where the 10s should go. Very annoying lolI can’t complain too much for the price- I’m giving this 3 stars because they do have a lot of great equipment and machines and the members and staff are super nice.

I'd like to join but hours are awful! Having to be at work at 6am. Work.12 hr shift... home by 6:30 for family time. Can't stick the wife with the kids to go workout. Getting kids in bed by 9. Leaves no Time when gym closes at 10! And Fridays are even worse. And 5pm on Saturdays. I don't care for 24hr but they are 1 location is open til 11 pm on 75 and the other is 24 hr. They both have heavy business at night. So you cannot say that staying open later would not be justified

Do NOT give them your bank info. They have such a bad practice. I referred 2 other people and they started charging me as if they were under my membership? I called to cancel in December. Now I’m Feb and they are STILL charging me. Bad bad bad practice. You literally get what you pay for $10 for idiots that don’t know good customer service.

Why is it so hard for the Carrollton fitness connection to inform and keep members updated in ANY way when the gym will close or reopen due to weather. Not even through the app which they’re “SUPPOSED” to do?!

I have been a member of this facility for 4+ years. I have trained there religiously with my trainer who recommended Fitness Connection. It is a good value, convenient location and has a private "ALL FEMALE" area. This area is compact yet has all the necessary equipment. Weds of this week a MAN identifying obviously as a woman chose to do HIS workout in this small space. I am all for "you do you, and I'll do me", but this has clearly crossed the line. As a woman it is about feeling safe when you are bending over in certain positions, showing cleavage as you bend or stretch and clearly not worrying about the tightness of your workout clothes etc. The fact that a real MAN....I mean deep voice and all chose to cross into the female area because HE felt entitled to based on his "new gender" is NOT OK. Moving forward without a clear policy on "what is a woman" defined and specified I will not be back. This facility has massive amounts of square footage in which the man identifying as a woman could have chosen to workout. It is not right nor fair that we must be compromised and made to feel uncomfortable simply to appease this individual. Fitness Connection corporate needs to weigh in on this immediately. It is pretty simple...XX or XY and then stay in your lane.

Over crowded, and not enough access to the squat racks to get a consistent workout. Cancelation takes 2 MONTHS, which we were lied to about when signing up. All around terrible experience would not recommend.

This gym has gone down hill. Very spacious with lots of equipment. Problem is, half the elliptical machines are broken or don't move smoothly, yet they have no sign on them or being fixed even after telling a staff member. They advertise child care, yet they have changed their policy to only have it open In the late afternoons. Staff said it was due to to many sick kids being dropped off in the morning. How is it that you now only open it during a time where a higher number of kids will be attending and how are kids less sick in the afternoon?

I used to be contacted regularly by Fitness Connection to give my reviews - probably because I always gave 5 stars for cost-value and the ability for a stay-at-home-mom to have an affordable and productive respite! It's a different ballgame now. Childcare is no longer free, and the offerings - times and ages served - have changed. My kids went once with our new membership and refuse to go back because "the big kids were mean". They have removed morning childcare hours, which is just awful for smaller kids and moms that work later hours. There was only 1 free weight available the time that I went - it's not like the others were in use. They just weren't anywhere to be found. Terms of agreement have changed. There's a hefty fee for cancelling a membership. I was afraid that it would be bad when I asked for a one-day trial before re-joining - it had been years since I'd been a member - and was refused. I realize FC is probably in recovery mode after Covid like everyone else, but I would find it very hard to recommend Fitness Connection to anyone at this point.

I’ve been happy w this gym up until their recent changes. Group classes are now being considered premium charge and though I’m grandfathered in m, you have removed some of the best instructors for these premium classes. Body pump IMO is the best group class you offer along side spin classes. Body pump now only has one evening class during the week but you have morning weekday classes that no one with a 8-5 can attend? At least the noon class offered some flexibility so people can go on lunch hour! Weight training is the most important when trying to get in shape, and the instructors should be educated and fit themselves.

Weights are constantly not racked. You have to go around the whole gym to find what you're looking for. Not enough sanitization stations. Much of the staff doesn't greet you. I've been to a few $10 a month gym this is by far the worst. I'll give it a 3 because they do have a lot of equipment and there's ample space to get your workout in.
