I did a trial to see check out the facility and really because I was looking for a place with a sauna. There seemed to be a good selection of weights and equipment, but the condition of the sauna told me this place wasn't worth even the low price. In addition to it not working, there was a smell in there that told me it hadn't been cleaned in a while. When I asked about it, the front desk didn't have any information. No signage and employees not informed = bad management. I went elsewhere.

This is a great gym. I like to go an hour before closing and it’s always been clean, the staff greets me every time I walk in, and the women’s section is a small piece of heaven!! Looking at the reviews really surprised me. For $10 a month, you can’t beat the price and big gym. I switched from LA Fitness and never looked back.

Updated review:I’ve been a member for over 5 years. My home gym was originally the Garland location. This location is great. I later moved to Carrollton. The Carrollton location was good between 2018-2020. Starting in 2021, the Carrollton location went down the drain. The equipment is not maintained AT ALL. members get charged a annual fee for this very purpose yet this location does not strive to make sure the equipment is at the minimum usable. Several of the barbells are either broken or bent. There are currently about three barbells completely missing. Several pieces of gym equipment “awaiting repair” (the hack squat machine is going on 6 months of being broken). Part of the reason for the damaged equipment is some members not respecting the gym equipment. Weights being thrown around, machines being loaded past max capacity…it’s unacceptable. There are several pieces of the gym floor that are heavily worn and have turned into a hole which is a safety hazard. These caved in areas of the floor are also near racks which also makes it a safety hazard when placing a barbell on the floor with plates. The side of the bar close to the caved in floor will roll into this area and can easily roll over someone’s foot that is walking by.Yes this is a cheap gym membership, but it’s not what it used to be. Spend your money elsewhere.

Signed up for the free pass to try the gym out - a rep called me and asked me to stop by - I told her I would come by after work around 6 - 7 and that I was a member of Fitness connections a long time ago and I would be bringing a friend to check out to gym. She said okay stop by she'll by there... no problemShowed up at 6:03 PM no greeting or nothing.. from the 3 staffs .. showed them my guest pass and they stated it can only be use before 6 PM --- NOT ONCE DID SHE MENTIONED THE GUESS PASS HAVE TO USE BEFORE 6 PM OVER THE PHONEFinally proceed to check us in after I told her I spoke to her on the phone and she said it was fine for me to come in. Then she told me she cant let me use the guest pass because I was a membership before.... well .... didnt I told you that over the phone and you told me to come anyways?Me and my friend left. Very unpleasant and unprofessional.10 dollars or 1 dollar ... you should feel value and respect.... I felt ZERO for bothIf this is how they treat you before you sign up then I cant imagine the serive you get once you give them your money.

Terrible customer service. They refused to let my guest in to the gym even though she had a 5-day free trial to try out the gym. Only because she didnt a have a local license. Which is not what it said on website. The 2 girls at the front desk were very rude and made me feel like i was stupid.

I have been trying to cancel my membership for literal years and they are still taking out payments from my bank account. Do not sign up here, they make it pretty much *impossible* to cancel, they lie saying cancellation is easy, not telling you the hoops you have to jump through in order to *actually* cancel your membership.

Edit: 9 of their equipments are unavailable...for weeks !!!And none of the staff hardly greets when you enter the gym. They're always busy talking with each other. They need to extend the time on weekends too.. it used to be 24/7. But they had to change the hours due to covid. But I feel like now they're just taking an advantage and not changing their time cause then they would have to pay staffs for working those hours..

Well, from reviews below, looks like this particular location has not done ANY customer service training with staff at the front.Went in a while ago, and the front office "bros" standing around at the front treated my husband and I so poorly - just abhorrent! Just asking about the membership was a challenge because of attitude problems. They couldn't even look up from their phones to answer any question.I guess they'll get those who don't mind that kind of treatment. Good luck to them

More classes have gradually been added since covid. Facility is clean but maintenance is slow to be done. The clock in the Group X room broke over a month ago and has still not been replaced. I complete surveys religiously and maybe get an occasional "automated" reply.I also had an issue with bringing a guest. I even called that morning to double check if I could bring a visiting family in for a class, was told yes, and then once there my guest had to pay $15 for a class. I noted that on the FC survey, yet no manager ever got in touch with me. Still waiting ...

Ery uncomfortable places. Often really ovwr crowded, even during non peak times. Uts almost impossible to get any machine ir area you want. They over pack this places. Plus it's like people trying ti start their fitness journey don't have a place here. I felt really unwelcome. Staff unhelpful. They know there's a thief in the men's locker room and they just shrug. It's the closest gym to my house and I cant even go back because it's just so uncomfortable. Ok facility though.
