Great gym and wonderful people! The staff is very friendly, helpful, and attentive. If you're new to OTF, the workouts are incredible! They're as challenging as you make them. The coaches are encouraging and helpful recommending alternative workouts if you're injured. The sales staff is wonderful at providing information and answering questions.

Cancellation is hard, If you are uncertain of this classes then take your time as they charge additional one month payment when you cancel it and even if you have not attended the last month's classes they do not adjust these pricing , so you will end up paying extra month payment as well.

So far, I feel like I burn a lot of calories during the workout. However, I cannot make a more educated review, without coming more often and seeing results, if any. But, so far so good. Thanks!

Orange Theory is the only place I got real results. Throughout years of trying all kind of different gyms in the past, OT concept is simple and effective. It really works.

Its bad experience here mostly not with staff or people but the concept. Its Just graphical story of zones and not exciting. The first class is great but as soon as you sign up ...No one bothers about you and I had very bad experience due to their policies . Initially told i can cancel with in 30 days with out next payment but later they say i have to pay 30 more days to cancel. The bottom line is all they want is our credit card details to sell stuffI never experience this theory.

I love having a coach directed workout. I honestly am not able to workout any other way. I lack the self discipline (but excel in self awareness), and being able to drive around the corner and have someone push me is exactly what I need and well worth the investment. I finally feel confident that I’m going to reach my fitness goals.

I am an OTF enthusiast; I tell anyone and everyone I know about the incredible workouts and coaching, and encourage guests to try it. I have been a member for almost a year and travel for work, and I have visited 14 other studios across the country. I have had wonderful experiences at every studio, except West Cary. I would like to mention that the class itself was amazing as always, however it was the attitude at the front desk that prompted me to write a review.I brought my sister and brother-in-law who live on the outskirts of Raleigh and don't have OTF in their city. My sister has visited my home studio (paid for the class as she wasn't local) and loved it; my brother-in-law had never tried it before and he was very eager to go. They were considering a membership or special package based on how they liked the class. There are several locations in the Raleigh area; the drive from their home to North Raleigh is ~25 min and the drive to West Cary is ~30 min. West Cary is more convenient to them in terms of their work/personal schedules and traffic. They used to live in Cary and plan to move back to the area in the spring. I called to make sure they could try the first class at this location for free and was informed they could. It wasn't until they filled out the paperwork and went through the sales pitch that I was told they were considered drop-ins and would have to pay $28 each. I was confused about this and was told it was because they lived on the outskirts they were not considered local. I asked what “local” rules are because I wasn’t aware of restrictions as long as you live in the general area. I was informed by the front desk manager that my guests technically don’t have a local studio since there isn’t one in their city, but she guessed it would be the North Raleigh location.I was really upset because we weren’t told this ahead of time. At my location they offer a preferred guest rate for $12. I asked about it and the manager said no, the $28 fee applies. We were stuck in a no-win situation at that point, because if we refused to pay we would have been charged the cancellation fee as we didn't cancel within the 8-hr window. It’s not all about the money, the most frustrating thing is that this studio was willing to walk away from potential members due to logistics on where they lived, even though this location was most convenient for them to attend class. If they would have bothered to find out more, they would have understood the reasons the location makes sense for them. I understand if there are clear rules on this, but if that is the case and corporate is that strict, the studio should ask for the guest's address when they call to sign up. It's still unclear to me how my guests determine which is their home studio, as other studios in the area are all around the same distance away from their physical address.I felt that we were treated rudely by the manager and it embarrassed me in front of my family after I have said so many great things about OTF. An apologetic response and calmly explaining the details on rules really goes a long way. I am an understanding person so it could have been handled much better than it was. To make matters worse, my sister received a survey in which she expressed her frustration. In response, she received a text message from the studio stating they would offer her a free class ($28 value)!!! We found this to be outrageous, so she called the front desk and they said they accidentally sent that text after reading her survey before understanding the situation, sorry about that. No further resolution. I still can't believe the poor customer service.I talked to my home studio and they were surprised West Cary would turn away potential members and handle things in this manner. I have been raving about OTF and I feel this experience will turn off the guests I was encouraging to sign up. I am involved in several online OTF groups and post about each location – I’ll make sure to let others know about my terrible experience at West Cary.
