Be Strong Health and Fitness has been such an asset to my life. I wasn’t as involved in fitness and a healthy lifestyle as deeply as I should have been. It has improved my health enormously and given my mind way more mental clarity than I ever thought it would. It takes a little determination at first but especially with the group atmosphere, it’s far easier to hold yourself accountable. Matthew, the owner, is a great guy and I urge you to make fitness one of your top properties as Matthew has inspired me to.

We are so grateful to have found this gym! We wanted a gym with space where we could train functionally and still had all the equipment we need. This place has it all! A wide selection of dumb bells and kettlebells, as well as squat racks, boxes, sleds, and ropes. Everything you can think of and need to increase your strength and get in shape.The staff is always friendly and extremely knowledgeable and the community here is incredible! Highly recommend Be Strong if you're looking for a gym or personal training!

I’ve had an ideal experience doing personal training at this gym. Matthew is an exceptionally knowledgeable and attentive trainer, and I feel like every minute of the time during our sessions is well-spent. I’ve been in and out of gyms most of my life and I love working out at Be Strong! The group classes are fun and challenging, and everyone is so positive and encouraging. High fives and fist bumps all around! I started personal training with Taylor about a month ago, and am already seeing improvements in my strength and endurance. He’s helped me improve my form, and has been great about making modifications for a shoulder injury. I love the gym’s focus on functional fitness, and I can’t recommend them enough!

I’ve had such a good experience at Be Strong. Matthew and his team are supportive, encouraging, and alongside me with every new exercise. I’m blown away by their knowledge and application of it to the daily fitness routine. I would definitely recommend them for strength training. I was nervous about getting back into strength training after an old back injury, but Matthew and the crew at Be Strong have been so helpful and supportive. They are incredibly knowledgeable when it comes to building strength, flexibility, and confidence back- all while staying attentive to your body’s individual needs and concerns. This is a great gym for those who want a really focused and dedicated training regimen to either get back into shape, or looking to get into shape for the first time ever. What sets this place apart from lots of other chain gyms, personal trainers, or individual classes, is the option for great personalized training with the team. Matt and Taylor have been working with me in three 30 minute sessions a week and their guidance has helped me finally begin working on some issues in building strength and flexibility that have nagged me for years. I've worked with trainers in the past, but never with ones who are as capable as this team because they make a point of getting to know you, pay attention to every detail of a person's issues.For example, I've had a left hip that's not been able to open up for YEARS. Matt and Taylor identified this (along with my tight hamstrings) and have taken me through a series of exercises and stretches that targeted these areas. When I couldn't quite perform the exercises they gave me a great series of modifications. For the first time in 30+ years or so, I'm starting to get some marked flexibility into that hip, relief of constant pain in my lower back, strengthening my overall body, and showing (and feeling) that growth in strength and flexibility.I'm writing this as someone who has put his own well-being and physical practice aside in the service of others. It IS a financial investment (a really REASONABLY priced one at this gym), but I can't stress enough how much this gym has helped me. Please know I had NO knowledge of this place before coming here. I didn't know anyone involved with it, and just found it doing a random internet search. On a lark I called, got in touch with Matt and began a journey I'm planning on continuing for some time. It's one of the best things I decided to do for myself. The gym is a welcome break from 8 to 14 hour days at work, and those 30 minutes three times a week have been a time to physically AND mentally recalibrate for myself.There's also the option of group classes. Saturdays there's a great one at 9am that I've enjoyed attending a couple of times. I'm hoping more people join this gym so that the group class offerings can expand on the weekdays. Currently there's a class at 5:30. My schedule as an educator and director of theater don't allow me to leave work until about 5:45 so I can't quite do those. If there's one selfish thing I want for this gym is more people so late day classes can happen.It really is an amazing place to train, focus (without any distractions), and grow. Give the gym a call, take a brief tour, and find out yourself if you can.

Matthew does a great job implementing an individualized total body fitness plan that increases strength and conditioning but also improves posture, balance, and flexibility that are so important for long term health.
