24 Hour Fitness at 589 Anton Blvd, Costa Mesa, CA, offers a round-the-clock gym experience catering to various fitness needs. The gym features a three-lane indoor pool, diverse workout equipment, and ample space across three floors. However, multiple reviews highlight significant concerns about cleanliness, maintenance, and overall organization. Friendly and helpful staff stand out positively, yet the operational shortcomings often overshadow these aspects.
The facility's major challenges include equipment disrepair and poor hygiene in restrooms and locker rooms. Additionally, the parking situation of limited two-hour validation adds to the inconvenience. While the location is convenient for many, ensuring the gym remains clean and well-maintained would greatly enhance the member experience.

Been visiting this gym for 10 years now and always great to see the 4am regulars. This place has everything you need, and plenty of room to improvise if needed.

Carlos Torres, this guy was at the front desk. Perhaps the rudest encounter in a gym I’ve ever had. They clearly do not care about their clients here. Right off the bat he was aggressive telling me I had to be a local to use a three day pass which is just not true. He was so arrogant and uppity with me that I had to call over one of his managers to whom he told me “don’t let him in” and the manager asked to hear my side of the story and scolded Carlos and the manager let me in.

This gym is ok. The problem is that all the dumbells are all over the place, and whenever they are used by someone they are never racked at their appropriate place. This as well as the loose weights and the kettle bells as well. Not to mention people taking their sweet time filming themselves doing half reps.

EDIT 8/22: women's bathroom is consistently unclean and trashed with TP and liners everywhere on the floor. If you don't mind working out with people who do supersets with 3-4 different cable equipment and give you attitude about taking their equipment(s), during a busy period then this is the gym for you!!People hate to rerack their weights here. I come 1-2 a week to this location when I have to be in the area, and each time I go here the free weight area is always disorganized with weights not in their correct place or just randomly on the floor.
