24 Hour Fitness at 589 Anton Blvd, Costa Mesa, CA, offers a round-the-clock gym experience catering to various fitness needs. The gym features a three-lane indoor pool, diverse workout equipment, and ample space across three floors. However, multiple reviews highlight significant concerns about cleanliness, maintenance, and overall organization. Friendly and helpful staff stand out positively, yet the operational shortcomings often overshadow these aspects.

The facility's major challenges include equipment disrepair and poor hygiene in restrooms and locker rooms. Additionally, the parking situation of limited two-hour validation adds to the inconvenience. While the location is convenient for many, ensuring the gym remains clean and well-maintained would greatly enhance the member experience.

This gym used to be just OK but recently they added a functional training area with 6 new barbells which support up to 4 squat racks (plus they have 2 old ones, so 6 total!!). They have twelve 45 lb bumper plates along with lots of smaller ones.

I came in after calling to dispute a hidden fee, charged to my membership. The phone representative told me I needed to come in to the club to be refunded.****Manager Erin***** was apathetic and literally laughed at my distress! Then after wasting my time, she informed me to visit the Bella Tera club and have them deal with it.I did, and they recognized there was an error, I was being charged for 2 memberships monthly since January. And refunded me the last payment. As far as the gym itself, Saunas are broken and equipment is pretty dirty.

Not my favorite gym to workout at, but do go here out of convenience. Cardio and weight room are on separate floors, making it hard to do circle trainings that involve using both. Front desk staff is hit or miss, most of the time unfriendly. My biggest complaint is I have to ask for towels every time! Rather than having them ready, as expected.

This is a normal sport with towels. It's filthy, does not have enough showers and toilets, and the staff don't seem to care. It is the most convenient 24 for me, geographically, but my least favorite.

Finely cancel my membership. Too crowded you can't really workout at all and most of the exercise equipment and workout are broken. The steam room as well smells horrible. I guess they never clean them.

They claim this is a 'super sport' even though it isn't listed as one, nor do they even have that on any of the '24 Hour Fitness' logos or signs on the building (nor does it seem to be any different from a Sport). End up here by accident without a super sport membership and they'll give you the option to upgrade (aka hand them more money) or go to another club 10 miles down the road. I'm tired of this corporation's gimmicks as well as their nasty unkempt and over-crowded clubs. I've had memberships with five different gyms now, if you have a Planet Fitness in your neighborhood (and aren't a serious body builder) that's the club to go with. Avoid 24 hour fitness like the plague.

I just joined the Super sport recently. They had a special for upgrade and couldn't pass it up. I go super early in the morning.(3-4 am) There are plenty of machines and weights. I always see them cleaning it at night so its dirty from the day before. It doesn't bother me though. The biggest issue I have is that the t.v. screens mounted on only few of the machines are usually broken. I walk around just trying to find one that works and they don't seem to fix them. If im shelling out more money for a super sport, than the equipment should be working.

very nice people, but the gym was dirty, it smelled super bad, and the equipment is old. The facility itself is old, but everyone there are serious exercisers. Good energy. Good pump.

So i called in was transfered to anthony his name did sound familiar (not in a good way) anywho i asked him about the membership promotion i had recieved in my email and right away he said okay yea what about it? Then he said you do know its a super sports club right? Damn talk about poor customer service the price was a little too pricey for what i could afford i would have taken the deal but with service like that id rather drive all the way to harbor very good customer service its not the quantity but quality.

The remodeling made this the perfect gym for me. More free weights and equipments, cleaner, and the towel service is a plus
