24 Hour Fitness at 589 Anton Blvd, Costa Mesa, CA, offers a round-the-clock gym experience catering to various fitness needs. The gym features a three-lane indoor pool, diverse workout equipment, and ample space across three floors. However, multiple reviews highlight significant concerns about cleanliness, maintenance, and overall organization. Friendly and helpful staff stand out positively, yet the operational shortcomings often overshadow these aspects.
The facility's major challenges include equipment disrepair and poor hygiene in restrooms and locker rooms. Additionally, the parking situation of limited two-hour validation adds to the inconvenience. While the location is convenient for many, ensuring the gym remains clean and well-maintained would greatly enhance the member experience.

The equipment outside was old, rusty and hard to manually adjust. I gave up trying on a couple of them. I then went inside and the equipment wasn't even spaced out and all crammed to one side of the floor to make more room for FLOOR exercises! Masks were not being enforced and a lot of guys had her nose uncovered. WTH!

its not news that gyms are shifty about canceling memberships, but this one is the worst example i've ever met. they started charging me during COVID shut down and when i called for help refunding and canceling, the kept hanging up on me.I was offered only a partial refund and was lied to about manager being out of the building. They actually went so far as to advise me to dispute the charges with my credit card instead...For the record the person who recommended I collude in this fraud identified herself as Lily.I will never resume business with 24 hr after this.

I like 24, but the Anton location has absolutely NO 5lbs OR 10lbs PLATES! Other than that the equipment is fine. There are plenty of dumbells, 6 open bumperplate stations, lots of cable pulls, several benches. The people that work out at this location seem to be oblivious to gym etiquette, but its 24 hour fitness.... its not a bodybuilder gym.

I wanted to share my feedback. I have been thinking of joining your gym and decided to get a 3 day pass to check facility and sign up. I thought maybe my company could also offer this to their employees. I registered for the pass and went right after work to the Anton location and was greeted by a long line of people waiting. Seems that they were checking capacity. I asked another member if this was usual and said yes. Finally got tot he front of the Line and explained to the young man that I wanted to get a membership and that I had a guest pass. It seemed that he only heard guest pass not I want to get a membership. He told me that they were not accepting any guest passes. I told him that I wanted to get a membership but that I had a guest pass and once again he told me that no guest passes accepted. I asked him if this was the norm here and he said yes that no guest passes accepted and basically ignored me and proceeded on. Really bad customer service and training

I have had plenty of issues with the billing, and they need to fix a few pieces of equipment.. It is still a Great Place to workout, and the Management Team is Great!

Went to work out at there this morning to help out a friend with some techniques to lifting. Was approached by Natalie Nichols (fitness manager) and was told I was not able to train a friend, and that I had to work out with my friend. She told me that it was OK to teach lifting techniques but I had to exercise with my friend. I then continued to teach my friend how to squat, and was showing her how to do it. Not even 5 minutes later Natalie, came back and said she was calling security on us to have us escorted out because I was "training".We then talked to the "gym manager" with how rude Natalie was, and she said that they don't kick people out unless 2 managers see that there is an issue. Even though only one manager saw the issue, she was willing to kick us out. Only when I disagreed with getting kicked out, did she let us stay to only use the cardio equipment.Horrible customer service!

Like most of their clubs now, this is an outdated facility with unmaintained equipment and bathrooms dirtier than public bathrooms at the beach. No more towel service as well.Guess they have enough business professionals working in this center locked in that they don't have to worry about attracting or keeping members
