I recently used a free day pass to try out this Planet Fitness. The facility was clean, the staff was very nice, and the machines were well maintained and functional.Unfortunately, I counted more than 10 people around me who were wearing masks incorrectly - either below their nose or even under their chin. Machines were properly distanced but social distancing is only part of the equation for curbing this pandemic.This is extremely disheartening for those of us that are taking this pandemic seriously, as the facility was otherwise quite nice. If COVID weren't a factor, I would rate this Planet Fitness 5 stars.

Annual fees are a scam. I cancelled my membership on Jan 1 and on same day i was charged $41 annual membership fee. Each time i call i get a different answer from the staff, from "don't worry, it won't go through because you cancelled", to "the payment is set to go through a week earlier, so there's no way to refund your money". Really? Since when does a business charge you an annual fee at the same time you cancel. None of this was explained or included in the membership agreement. Be careful what you sign up for.

Disappointed in the mask mandate at the Danbury, Connecticut Planet Fitness. Having to wear a mask, despite being fully vaccinated, feels like overkill.

It was my first time ever going to a planet fitness. Usually I go to Club 24 because Plant is so expensive. But my girlfriend dragged me there. She didn't have a black card so she couldn't bring a guest. I got a free guest day pass from online with the help of a staff member.I wanted to use the hydro bed however it was not working. The Manager apologized and led me to the massage chairs. That was really disappointing to me. After a rough workout those really help reduce soreness. If I return I'm going to try to use the bed due to this incident. The locker room was nice. And they have a lot of equipment.

I do like it here, it’s two floors and they’ve got everything and it’s nice and bright and clean. I appreciate the glass windows that let in a lot of light in while you’re working out... it’s very Clean and it’s got a ton of different equipment in areas so you can get in the greatest work out. The staff is nice..The one thing I didn’t like and it made me start going to other planet fitness locations is that they played way too much country music here. I couldn’t take it any longer And it’s been a while so maybe they’ve stopped but it was more than my ears could stand.

Good for the money, but could be cleaner and have better customer service. Sign in is delayed if new potential customers at the desk.

Super friendly helpful staff, and no one bothers you. It's basically the best gym ever.

This place is huge and extremely clean. Machines are distances apart from each other. All machines were working. Wish NYS would follow suit and open.

Good place for workout. Can't beat the price.No frills-everybody is polite. People are wearing their masks & staff wipes down machines alot.

Told the manger Brian that I was moving to North Carolina and that I wanted to cancel my contract. He declined and said I couldn’t do this. I moved back to CT 3 years later and paid for these three years. I went back to try and cancel again and the receptionist told me that it’s impossible for Brian to do that and actually canceled my membership on the spot. End of story I followed up on the terms and conditions and it states that if you move over 25 miles from a location it’s an automatic cancellation. I feel ROBBED by this franchise and that manager for 3 years worth. Bring back Borders Book Store
