This Planet Fitness is one of the best ones I've been to in Detroit metro area. Wayyyyy nicer than the Ford Road one and less crowded as well. Staff is very nice as well.

Love it!! 24 hrs and friendly staff! I have the black card so I love using the hydro bed, the massage chair and the tanning! The workout equipment is incredible!

This planet fitness location is good for the most part, however the fitness trainer doesn’t seem to be to excited to help showing customers how to exercise. The service is very good and the staff is always friendly and cooperative in general!

Some staff members in this location doesn't seem to know what it means about fundamental business ethics (how to treat customers). Gaining a customer takes a bit, but just losing one is very trivial. Good luck Planet fitness.

It's a decent gym, like there are plenty of machines to work out on, and the place has an unbeatable price. But here is my complaint, they advertise as "no douchebags" but there are quite a few people who still slam weights and such.

I signed up at this location and they signed me up with a black card membership and told me there is an annual fee taken out every year. However, they failed to communicate with me that its one or two months after i signed up and they charged my account. When i called to complain to a manager, she just stated that she’s sorry for the communication but didnt offer to refund me or find a solution! They just dont value their members. They have no policy for refunds, reimbursement for miscommunication even if its their fault. She was happy and content when i mentioned that i will cancel and switch to a competitor. She didnt even empathize. The policies of planet fitness are not member friendly. I warn everyone to read the fine lines and avoid this gym! Rip offs!

Love the atmosphere here. The cleanest gym I’ve ever been to. Had memberships at other gyms that cost triple the price and were disgustingly filthy, like the LA Fitness in Allen Park. I’ll never go anywhere else

Nice, clean gym. Plenty of equipment, but gets pretty busy around 5 pm on weekdays as you'd expect. It has the usual Planet Fitness shortcomings; i.e. dumbbells only go up to 60 pounds, Smith machines only, no real squat racks or benches.

Went in a week ago to inquire about membership, spoke with a young man who seemed helpful and informative and I was excited to come back and did so this evening after touring the facility. The gym looked clean but upbeat and personable staff is not at all what I experienced. I walked in and approached the front desk as a young lady stood there looking at me like a dear in headlights, it was awkward so I said hi and no response so I went on to say I'm here to get a membership. I inquired on payment and method of payment. She misinformed me as I found out quickly after she stomped off in some emotional fashion saying she doesn't make the rules! Two young kids who obviously weren't trained properly to give the guest correct information. A very nice and informative young lady stepped in and gave clear correct information and what was needed to acquire membership. Her name was Alyssa and it was a total ridiculous display of complete unprofessionalism I have experienced in a business in quite some time. Jasmine approached to answer my questions and was great. I said I'm a little aghast of how I was treated by this kid and as she was running off from behind the counter past me she continued to scream and argue. I'm appalled by this kids demeanor and lack of common courtesy and trying to engage an argument with me. I joined only because I can go to any location. Staff is just young kids with little to no work ethic or common sense. You don't treat perspective guests in that manner. Jasmine was great. Alyssa was someone I hope I never have to see again even if that means going to another planet fitness. Terrible customer service experience.

This place is chill, comfortable, clean, and perfect for a novice gym-goer like me. The employees are helpful and friendly, and the manager is also usually out and about interacting with the members. I greatly enjoy coming here.
