Great gym affordable prices. Never had any issues here. The gym has just enough machines and big enough weight area. Somedays are more busy than others but nothing compared to 24hrs, Or LA fitness.Gym is nice, small, and intimate. Going here now for for about a year. Definitely a goto

Worst gym ever. Dirty, unprofessional, no good group classes. They'll have hiden fees that will charge you during the year. And They'll raiae your membership whenever they want and If you complaint they'll tell you, you're free to cancel.Plus once you cancel your membership, collector company will start calling you to collect hundred of dollars and threatening you, that if you don't pay that amount you're going to jail. What an awful company.I don't recomend it at all. It's better if you look for other gyms out there.Terrible experience and still dealing with those calls after 5 months of cancelation.

I joined the Coppell gym. The facility is in good condition with new equipment so that's a plus. However I was lied to about hidden membership fees and training programs. The info given is partial and incomplete. They will argue that you were unclear when in actuality the details are intentionally omitted at the time of signing up. It's a common sales ploy. I will continue to use the gym at the basic membership level because it is still cost effective but I am disappointed in the lack of integrity.

Great gym. Staff is on point. Ive been to almost every gym in the metro and if you need a reasonably priced gym with all the workout necessities this is the place to be. Not to mention if you have kids, the kids club addition is reasonably priced also and sanitation seems to be a priority. Definitely recommend checking the place out

TL;DR: Don’t fall for their personal trainers. Save your rage, and your money.Ah yes, I saw the 3 star rating and thought “Only $9.99 a month? I can probably make this work”.My advice to maximize your money? ONLY use the facility, and the scheduled classes.Me on the other hand, fell for their “Personal Trainer” scam, and fell HARD. I spent more money than I would have if I were to spend 2 months at a PROFESSIONAL gym. They lure you in with false promises then they take your money and leave you to dry.My month of personal training was frankly disappointing. YouTube videos will do a better job teaching you. You think you’ll need the extra push to motivate yourself? The trainers don’t want to be there either, and try to get rid of you as soon as you meet. Also, the trainers are all terrible at communicating between themselves and their own clients. They pass you from trainer to trainer to trainer like baggage and give you rain checks 4 times ON THE DAY. You can tell they just don’t really care about you. Also, their financial system is broken. 3 weeks into my personal training, I knew I won’t be using this service. I asked for a cancellation, to which both my Trainer and the Receptionist confirmed that there was nothing to cancel since there was no recurring charges. But then I was charged $164 anyways. I went up to the receptionist and told her that I wanted a refund and she told me that I would need to wait for their manager to come back from his vacation. There was nothing I could do. The day after, I went again and asked if their manager was back (NO, he wasn’t) and saw my Personal Trainer. I told her the deal and she gave me a form to fill out along with a number for the corporate to get my refund. I called corporate, and he told me since I signed the form AFTER I was charged, there was no way they could give me a refund, have a nice day.Why wasn’t I given the form 3 weeks in? Why didn’t the receptionist know to give me the form when I went to her on the day I was charged? Why can’t I be refunded for something entirely out of my control caused by their own disorganization? So two months in, I have been charged $339.90 for a service I will never use again.Update:I called, nothing changed. It’s like talking to a brick wall. I think it is very clear what could have been done better. Despite your strict policies, the fault of your own staff should not be costed by your clients. What a horrible company.

Today is the ninth. I canceled my membership in person at the Coppell location because we are moving out of the area. The manager said that I would be charged an additional month and an annual service fee because it takes ten days to process and the two associated dates fall into the ten cancellation range. He replied that it is an internal process (No, it's actually a contractual process that I discovered when I called corporate), and I would need to call corporate as he is just relating corporate policy. I replied "Oh, don't worry, I will." Then he wanted to know why I was giving him an attitude.I called the corporate office and was connected with a man in billing. He explained that the ten day language It is actually in the agreement. Ok. I committed myself to their agreement. Whether it is a good policy or not, I put my signature to it and I am bound to it. I asked the man "do you understand how it leaves a bad taste in a customer's mouth when I cancel before your charge dates and you still charge me?" He danced around the question falling back to the agreement. I the question a second time and he referred back to the policy. "You aren't answering my question," I said and asked the question a third time. His reply, "that's your option to feel that way."So, you don't care about what your clients think. Ok. Good to know.A little over a year ago we cancelled my wife membership as it was never used. The manager at the time asked me to postpone my cancellation for another month as their commission was based on net growth less cancellations and this might make a difference. It was ten dollars. He said he would put the cancellation through the next month. I took two more face-to-face visits to finally get it cancelled. To the management of Texas Family Fitness. Your processes appear to be flawed. You concern for your clients seems to be flawed. Your compensation structure seems to bend the rules of ethics and sound business judgement. It is my genuine hope that you will take the $33.00 you are charging me after my cancellation, and perhaps use the money to purchase your owner some books on customer service. I would suggest "Raving Fans," "The Nordstrom way," and "Customer Loyalty" are three great places to start. Should the actual reading of the books prove to be a challenge, I'm confident that there are audio books available!

By far the best gym I've had a membership with. I have the best trainer ever Kris Esparza always whips me into shape but all of the staff are so nice and friendly. Workout equipment and machines are always clean. My daughter and I love everyone there and always enjoy coming to Texas Family Fitness!

I've been with TFF for awhile now, I've left (had no problems with paperwork, wasn't overcharged), got a much cheaper monthly rate and decided I need to be physically active to live so I came back, no problems with salespeople. I'm not sure what the big fuss is about, nice gym, good price, quit when you want to quit, stay if you want to stay. I'd say the only negative is finding empty machines if you're doing cardio between 5-6, but I would think that'd be true of any gym for that time.

Crooks!! They have an F rating on the Better Business Bureau. Don't make my mistake and check ratings first. They lie to you to get you to sign up and overcharge you. Watch the small print and double-check everything they put down and don't believe a word they say. Don't expect help from the corporate office. Samantha in the corporate office, who she claims is the only person that you can talk to is rude and thrives on screwing people out of their money even when they clearly made the mistake! Absolute crooks!! Go to any of the new gyms that have the same low rates or go to a much better club like LA Fitness.

Where they excel is great staff, the equipment is decent and they offer personal training courses. Why you need to stay away is if you leave the state/country you can not just phone in cancel your membership like you can with almost everything else in the world, you have to be there in person. Which is just plain dumb. They then send your balance to collections messing up your credit. And then they still keep charging you until you can fly back to Texas and cancel.Go to planet fitness same good price and, no stupidity if you need to cancel over the phone.
