Just like every other review on here… Texas Family Fitness steals money even after canceling.. I wrote a letter when I moved, no cancellation.. So then I drove back to cancel in person.. The person at the front desk said I couldn’t get my money back for the time I wrote a letter so I even let that go.. but then I had him cancel it in front of me and he even showed me proof of cancellation so I thought everything was good.. but then they STILL KEPT CHARGING MY CARD AFTERWARDS.. I’m so livid cause it’s been a waste of time and now a waste of money after repeated attempts to cancel and they don’t even give your money back or answer your calls.. They are not worth it and a terrible terrible company.. There shouldn’t be this many bad reviews on their cancellation policy alone and yet.. They do. so save yourself the headache and the money and just go somewhere else..

If I could give them less than a one star I would. All Texas family fitness are terrible. They shut down with a 30 day notice, do not prorate Billings, and just transfer their clients with a letter on the door. I wouldn’t sign up with them ever again. They had the nerve to send me promotional offers to my mailbox but can’t send a letter when gyms are closing. It’s a scam.

Request transparency & truthful business practices. Be friend children in absence of adults/parents & sign them for long term contract for billing. Accompany your children at the gym so that they are not preyed upon into signing any contracts. This business needs to leave Coppell & make room for an honest business to step in.

Worst fitness club. Facility is fine but they cheat while you sign off the deal by just saying its monthly fee and just enrollment fee and later charge some additional annual fee. Manager is very rude and talk trash

Had very bad experience when I went to cancel my membership at this location. The manager was extremely rude. May be that’s what happens when you cancel your membership. I asked for an invoice for last 3 months which I needed to submit to my employer. He gave me an invoice without name of the gym on it. He didn’t not even know how to give a proper invoice. I asked him to take help from his staff member and after listening to this , may be his ego got hurt, he started yelling at me and asked me to leave the gym. I politely asked again to give me corporate office number but he didn’t answer. He sent me proper invoice later. He made my experience with Texas family terrible at the end. Hope he learns how to talk to customers. It doesn’t cost anything to be polite to others.Never going to join Texas family fitness ever again in my life and won’t recommend to anyone till such rude staff works there.

Nice gym. Has everything I need. However, I want to express for the Number of years I have been using this gym I have seen such a high turn over rate of employees. I get it. The front desk workers are young guys building experience likely in high school. However, the management staff is rotated around like I change my underwear. I have worked out in the morning and in the evening doing 2 a day sessions and I see the same people working there and see the same people working there on the weekends. I ask myself… what is going on here? Do they not get any time off? It appears that corporate or whoever doesn’t care at all about their employees. They just want to fill the spots, push the numbers and line their pockets while the YOUNG management staff sacrifices their friends and family time. Here’s what I think is happening, (I managed a gym in California years back so I am very observant) The management staff gets burned out, likely bothered on their attempted lunch breaks, with zero time to clear their heads. If you want to improve production, improve employee moral by giving them an unbothered lunch break to eat regardless of state law. Let them workout and gather themselves so they can come back rejuvenated. Give them a set time to leave for the day and have the Assistant Manager scheduled in to pick up for the late night flow to close. If you don’t have an assistant manager. It’s corporate leadership, not in house leadership. The GM is middle management merely an echo of corporate. So I say to corporate if you take care of the employees they will take care of you. I’m tired of having issues and being told “that was a previous employee that signed you up for that and no longer works here” and I am sure anyone would just skate by and collect a paycheck in one of these positions that abuses them as such, get fired and not even put it on their resume in a short run. Complaint and solution provided.

Pros:Overall it is a pretty good club. The cost is reasonable. The staff is professional and friendly. The club is reasonably clean. The equipment is well-maintained.Cons:Corporate needs to work on getting their mobile phone software to work properly. We did have a problem. A physical trainer was billing us for sessions that never happened. However, Management fired the physical trainer and has assured us we will be reimbursed for the sessions that we were charged for that never happened.

Good machines and friendly staff but bad management:Broken Machines take too long to repair. Latpull down was out of order for 6+ months and calf machine has been out for 3+ months.Toilet is out of order for days.Kid care closes with no notice. No email is sent to let parents know it’s closed and parents show up with their kids only to have to turn around and leave. Very inconsiderate.

Good price and location. Management needs to address equipment maintenance and enforce time restrictions on how long leg equipment can be used. Trying to use squat/deadlift bays are hit and miss due to limited capacity and no time limit enforcement.
