They are quick to sign you up and start billing away. I signed up for personal training and was never told that it came with a one year commitment. I never even went in and they kept charging me..when I spoke to manager he told me to contact whoever signed me up who also works at another location. They don't care for helping and are only interested in making money. So here I am stuck with an annual contract for personal training which I can't afford and oh yes I can't even cancel my gym membership. It's a disgrace.

The club is dirty and not well maintained. The customer service to cancel my account has been a nightmare. I had added a second member on and was continued to be billed for their account. After cancelling both memberships their $29.95 "annual club update" charge was applied to my credit card for both of us....Would never recommend doing business with this gym or any of their affiliates. Like most big box gyms they have shady business practices and make it a nightmare to cancel your membership with out jumping through a million hoops.Also....why charge $29.95 per year for "equipment" when all of theirs is missing? The kettle bells and dumb bells were basically non existent and the gym mats are DISGUSTING. I've never seen anyone actually in the gym cleaning. At least at other gyms they have staff around disinfecting...I've been a member at 5 different gyms and this is by far the WORST ever.

This is not a bad gym and I've been to several awesome Fitness Connections in the area, but this one has some bad business practices that give me pause to recommend them to anyone.First, it's not really designed well for the amount of business they get. At peak hours there isn't enough room or available equipment. They also have too many of some types of machines/equipment, and not enough of the others. In comparison to the other ones around, their group classes are scheduled poorly (many occur in the middle of the workday), and some are only offered at this poor time once a week.Second, and a bigger issue is their billing. I had signed up for personal training in addition to the regular gym membership, but was having trouble getting times to meet with someone due to my schedule so I decided to cancel. I've now been in person to cancel the sessions almost 4x, but the person I need to speak with is NEVER there. The first few times I was given the wrong info on who to speak with. The second time, I was told the right person, but he was not a work, and the most recent time was told once again that he didn't get in until noon, and probably wouldn't be in today due to "personal commitments". If you're only going to have 1-2 people who can do a specific part of a job, then I feel that at least one of those people should be available when this place is open. It's now been a month, I've been billed for the training again, and it doesn't look like I'll be cancelling anytime soon.

THis has the most been the most jankiest deceitful Fitness Health Club I have ever dealt with in my life! FIrst they, lied about what their special was. When initially signing up they stated, that we could pay by cashiers check. then they …

If you add together the cost and what you get for the low amount, I have to give this place 5 stars. I read the other reviews and, maybe because I didn't get any misleading information or amounts, I just have no beef with them. I've been a member for two months. You're not going to get all this equipment, saunas, classes, pool, and courts for $10 anywhere else. Some days, I have to wait for equipment and some days the pool is full, but I've had that be the case with other, more expensive, gyms I've belonged to before. The staff is super nice, the patrons are cool and most of them clean the equipment afterward. The clientele contains every strata of age, color, and ability, and I get no "judgement vibe" from anyone. I look forward to every gym visit and, if you saw my "fluffy" body, you'd know I have a lot of visits ahead of me.

Most other reviews here seem to be from before management/staff changed and cancellation procedures were streamlined. I joined a couple of months back and was made well aware of the price for membership, the cancellation process (that it CANNOT be done at the gym), and that there is a yearly fee ($39) that's charged about a month or so after you join. I've LOVED the facility. There is plenty of new equipment, they've just resurfaced the back wall of an already awesome racket ball court, and there's a fresh coat of paint on doors and handrails. There are subtle improvements made all the time, it seems. The pool is nice, and when I go it usually has an open lane or two. The staff is very friendly, and a shout out to Alex, Travis, and Junaid (my personal trainer) for being extremely supportive of -- and responsive to -- my workout goals. With access to tennis courts, the outdoor pool and hot tub at the Sheraton (no extra charge), and plenty of free-weights and circuit training equipment, I'm never bored. Coming to the gym has (and if you knew me you'd be amazed that I'm saying this) become one of the best parts of my day.

You get what you pay for here. When I signed up it was $9.95/month and well worth the price. Nothing fancy about this gym but it does give you alot of options. Out of the 20+ treadmills they have I have seen 2 that are not working. They …

I get free membership because of where I live has an agreement with FC. I go there on the weekends and use the basketball court, weights and swimming pool. However the place is dirty, filthy and gross. The male showers smell and so does the steam room, plus the lights haven't work in the steam or sauna for I don't know how long. The staff there just don't care as I have spoken to them about things before and have just given up. I don't recommend this gym and encourage you to look else where. I use it because it's free, but it's taken it's toll and I'm looking for something different and willing to pay a monthly fee to enjoy my environment. It's to bad because it has so much potential.

Beware! Do not sign anything! I signed to reserve the rate they offered the day of the tour because I was unsure if I was taking a job in that location and I was reassured that there would be no charges and that I would have to actually come in and authorize ANY payment. I ended up not joining and 2 months later and they ended up charging me $120. Called the corporate office and they said they could not do anything. Also, the guy who told me all this was no longer there. The gym may be okay but the way they do business is reason enough that I would never think about joining this gym or any Fitness Connection.

I would rank this place lower than a 1, if I could. The facilities themselves are fine, although small and crowded. But the staff and customer service is awful. While I enjoyed the classes I took, including the instructors, it's not worth …
