Horrible management. This company is just trying to scam people out of their money. I was told by the GM that I could cancel at any time if i signed up for personal training 1x a week. And in order to ensure I get his deal I needed to sign right then and not after the weekend once I looked everything over. When I tried to cancel they said I could not cancel my contract and they that they state in the contract that any verbal agreements will not be honored! Which means this company know their staff lies to people to get them to sign. And then I was told that by 2 different representatives that I signed up for 2xs a week not one. then the 3rd person addressing my case said 3xs a week. All in all They charged me over $700 for personal training that I never received since their trainer kept canceling my 1x a week appointment.Still trying to ensure I get my money back!! Don't believe anything they say. they will charge you for nothing and they will do everything possible not to give you your money back.

Don't waste your time or energy here. This place is a great example of what is wrong with big box gyms. This was the closest gym to my work that had full amenities but I was skeptical because of the reviews and wanted to try it out first. So I thought I'd try the 1 week free pass. I was handed off to one of the most condescending, rude, chastising individuals that basically demanded to know why I needed a week to decide if I wanted to work out there or not. Why couldn't I decide tonight. He would give me just a day pass. Every time i would answer one of his questions, he would actually turn up his lip at me. I've never met a more horrible human in a customer service job. If you are thinking of trying to find a gym, look somewhere else because I have never been treated so poorly and I had just walked in the door.

I am a first time-new member and I recommend this place to anyone! I had an unbelievable experience today with Joe the GM and Hugo a personal trainer. This place is newly renovated with state of the art equipment! I was offered a free one-on-one resistance training workout that kicked my butt! This facility is quality and it offers amazing rates right now! Don't wait, get in there today!

I've been going here for about a year and it truly is just a nice gym. The weight lifting equipment is superb, the locker rooms are very nice. I wish it were a little bigger to offset the overcrowding in the evening, and a bigger parking lot, but overall it is a great gym

My boyfriend and I each purchased a membership on January 29th. We intended to have the membership for 1 month and asked when we needed to cancel by. We went into the branch and filled out our cancellation forms at the same time. He was charged through March and I was charged through May.I would like to be refunded for all but 1 month on each membership. The branch was very unprofessional and could not give me a straight answer about the refund. The customer service representative at corporate was even worse. He could not tell me when the membership was purchased or cancelled to provide a straight answer why I was charged multiple months. They were very unapologetic. I am extremely disappointed in your customer service.

People complaining about it being crowded clearly never go to gyms... it all about what time you go at I like the variety of equipment and the spin class is always amazing. I am a division 3 track athlete and they have a ton of equipment that helps me improve and am glad to have a gym close to me, the price for a membership does seem insane but for what they have compared to other gyms it makes sense. They keep the pool and whole gym really clean. I like the gym and the staff is very nice.

An update to my review a month ago. I was called by someone shortly after to talk to me about my review. However, I noticed the same lack of customer service in whoever I was talking to. They offered me a few months free (which I declined), and I was told that the staff is trained to be "aggressive sells people"(that's an understatement). What really made me come back to write yet another review, is that even though my membership has been cancelled for about 1 or 2 months now I just received a text from a personal trainer. They wanted to know why I hadn't used my personal assessment session yet (comes with membership).While working out I want an environment that really makes me feel at home. I don't want to worry about some beefy guys checking me out. I don't want to watch where I walk outside because of all the broken liquor bottles in the parking lot. I don't want to have to deal with such a lack of customer service amongst staff. I'm no longer a member there and I'm still dealing with this gym. I've been at planet fitness for a month now and loving it. Would strongly recommend that gym.

SCAM ARTISTS!! If I could give it 0 stars I would. DON'T give them your bank account info or you WILL get unauthorized charges on your account for years to come! I initially paid for ONE year, upfront, paid in full. NEVER signed up for auto-renewal. After my membership expired they started charging me monthly. I was livid. After having them refund my money and supposedly handle it, a year later they started charging me monthly again!! I went through the roof. At this point I reported them to the BBB, and have informed my bank they are not authorized to make charges on my account.

I wasn't thrilled with the agressive nature of the sales staff. I was very impressed with the Fitness Manager Steve. One of the personal trainers greeted me and kept me engaged in conversation until Steve was available to do my fitness assessment with me. There was a lot of construction going on and still he led me through a great workout! I will be signing up, in hopes all the staff is polite and courteous like I was treated on my assessment.

I am VERY busy, and VERY active and I have a crazy work schedule. The signed up at the St Charles XSport 2 years ago. The staff is VERY friendly, VERY helpful, and I have NEVER waited to use equipment. Some of the members can be a bit more respectful to the locker rooms, and nicer to the staff. Some members walk in there and think that people "owe" them something. XSport has many perks, benefits, and you can buy supplements on the spot there. I get out of work at 1am, and by the time I get to this location it's 2am. I ONLY go to this location because of the staff. They know me by face and name. These guys are awesome. I interacted with the sales staff once, and that's when I signed up for membership; so I cannot attest to them being pushy. I do recall the gentleman that did my membership being very friendly, knowledgeable, and overall a really nice guy. I have no idea why this location has so many bad reviews.
