The sauna is not hot. I liked it when it was a 24 hour facility. They need to do a better job of cleaning

Skokie use to be the crown jewel of Lifetime.. my how far we've come. Equipment down constantly.. regional management has forgotten about this place as they concentrate on opening new locations

Nice lavish luxury gym. Would live in the giant walk-around hottub if I could. They need to stop renting their pool lanes all night every night to kids swim teams. I pay for open swim and there's none to be found.

It was my first time signing up today and the membership assistant Roxy helped me and my family easily understand all the membership terms and what to expect when signing up. Thanks again Roxy!

I signed up for a Lifetime membership because I needed a 24 hour gym. The new Lifetime location in downtown Chicago is 24/7. Our membership dues have been increased yet it’s no longer 24/7. I have emailed Lifetime numerous times about when the gym is going back to 24/7 because that is what I signed up for and they never reply back. If downtown can be 24/7 so should the other locations in Illinois.

Whose idea was it to convert one of the basketball courts to one of a pickle-ball court? Northbrook is my main club but I'd always go to the skokie gym to play basketball. The Skokie LT has has gotten drastically worse since the past year. Treadmills/smith machines don't get repaired on time and sanitation has been a big issue in the locker rooms/bathrooms and 2nd floor.

I'm updating my review after getting in touch with the sales manager Edwin. He was able to fix my membership dues, and refund me for my overpayments. He is a great manager and contacted me promptly when hearing about my incident. Also, my previous statement saying not to sign up here was more towards the original salesman I worked with, the gym is great and I enjoy coming here.

Clean facility.Great equipment.Luxury experience.Only con is it’s Expensive at $150 a month, But, I believe it’s worth it if used consistently. No gym in the area can compete with the amenities this place has to offer.

This gym is still amazing don't get me wrong. I'd give this more towards a 4 stars OVERALL but my only reason for 2 star review is for the reason I come here. I use to go to xsport fitness in Niles however I left because of how packed the basketball court was. Coming to lifetime was initially a great decision because how they had 2 basketball courts. For those who aren't familiar with basketball courts and how they operate, they usually like to run full court which means both ends of the court is being used and there's not much you can do about it. With lifetimes second basketball court, it gives those who can't or don't want to play full court(which they have a lot of) an opportunity to play. However, that all changed recently with the news of this lifetime taking down one court to build a pickle ball court (if I'm not mistaken). So now we have 1 basketball court which most people will run full court games. This will make the court much more crowded and longer wait times to use the court. Not to mention the fact that they have daily activities and programs going on in the gym. Before this, they had a pickleball setup where people who would want to play would just set up the nets which I don't know why they can't continue that. Other than that the facility is pretty fair compared to others but I know this decision to take out one court will affect many members who come and use the court often. I have NOTHING wrong with pickleball itself. I have an issue of how both and other sports can be used in one court and now it's limited to just 1.**On a side note. Couldn't you guys just build a system where you raise the basketball hoop whenever they play pickleball? I know the original basketball hoops don't move but maybe a thought? Add the baskets that have hydraulics and fold them up whenever the court is being used for something else...
