Life Time Commerce in Michigan offers a luxurious gym experience with a wide range of amenities, including top-notch fitness classes, a relaxing sauna, a lap pool, and an inviting café. Families particularly love the kids' programs, which include activities like rock climbing and learning Spanish. The gym stands out for its pristine facilities and helpful staff, making it a preferred choice for those seeking a comprehensive fitness and wellness solution.

However, despite the many positives, some members have noted issues. The gym's customer service has been a concern, with reports of rude staff and inconsistent policies. Additionally, the facility often becomes overcrowded, and the presence of unsupervised teens detracts from the experience. The high membership cost and strict cancellation policies have also been points of criticism.

  • Excellent kids' programs.
  • Pristine facilities.
  • Helpful and welcoming staff.
  • Top-notch fitness classes.

  • Inviting café.
  • Highly recommended for families.

Cons:

  • Rude and inconsistent customer service.
  • Overcrowding issues.
  • High membership cost and strict cancellation policies.

Place is filthy. Ceilings caked with dust. Machines covered with slop. What happened to lifetimes standards? Unacceptable for a gym with a premium status. Very disappointed. Lazy night staff could come wipe these things down every hour or so instead of having conversations and goofing off at my expense.

Don't get a membership here if you expect to play basketball. They literally made a whole court for pickle ball. Terrible decision.. and they took out the racquetball courts.. the other court that's meant for basketball is always taken for toddler parties.. what a shame.. idk what they were thinking. Could have just rented out a court for pickle ball at specific times not completely transfer a court for it or put it where the racquetball courts used to be. deactivating my membership here after being a member for 15 years

One of the best gyms available. The pools, hot tubs and saunas make it worth the membership dues. I just wish they would go back to 24-hr operations.

Ladies room need to clean up more as more people are using. Showers are dirty , floors are watery. Some towels are worn out and look dirty.

Lifetimes in general have spiraled down in quality since covid and have only gotten worse. Flooded with kids. Hours are a joke for a gym that costs $90/month when gyms that are $15/month are 24/7. Will cancel very soon

Expensive and foul mouth loud kids in the locker room was enough to make we quite. They also hit my credit card without approval and I had to fight to get it back. Also was 24/7 when I signed up but then was closing early when I wanted to work out. Breach on contract as far as I'm concerned but they already had my money and good luck getting any refund.

Waleed Salman who is the membership concierge leader at this facility is very professional and always responding to my emails because of my travels and changes in my schedule. The club facilities are excellent, clean, many exercise machines available at all times.

Great place for family pool fun. The front desk peoples seemed a tad cold (keeping in mind eye contact or lack there of, tone of voice and hand gestures ARE all part of communication) but got us info we needed and pointed us in the right direction.

Clean gym with friendly staff. The classes get full fast so definitely plan that ahead of time. I have done the Gentle yoga, GTX and Glute Maximus classes and they are fantastic. Great instructors so far! Great steam room and dry suana.
