This company’s business practices are fundamentally flawed. Zone goes around buying out other gyms, downgrades existing gym membership passes without notifying the gym goers. And when you have questions, complaints or concerns that they don’t want to answer, or can’t find a solution to. They allows their staff to call the police on people. My husband has been at prestige in Aurora for over 7 years and this is ultimately the worst gym experience that I can ever encountered visiting as his guest. The gym staff has no professionalism there is never anyone sitting at front desk to greet gym goers, and it seems they have No customers service skills or organization. Instead of finding solutions to problems or new policies they changed they treat people less than. The management at this location is concerning. The entire company obviously has issue after reading such horrible reviews. Also, the AC still isn’t working after 2 years, the building literally reached 96degrees on Sunday causing us to have headaches.

I’ve been a member here for years, every gym most likely has their issues (always try to keep a balanced viewpoint). There are a number of high schoolers, depending on the time of day and day of week. I just work out around them. Other than that I’ve been happy with this gym.I’ve participated with their personal training now for I’ve a year and a half. Lately working with Taylor. I’ve been super happy with his programming and the sessions I’ve had with him.

Please listen to the bad reviews as they outweigh the good ones by miles. I think if you are an avid gym goer this not the place for you. In fact I think the only reason they have the demand or are still in business is simply location. If it wasn't the only thing in the area maybe there would be a higher standard from these guys. Just to list a few of the bad things; there's carpet thats dirty and worn out in the locker rooms(why would you do that in a locker room?), kids leaving trash in lockers, poorly kept and maintained equipment(seats to machines are missing material and showing foam, etc), and the urinal in the mens bathroom was almost always leaking(felt gross to use any part of the bathroom). Now the other reviews of people having nightmares to cancel a membership are not wrong. There's a reason they have a "F" on BBB and they have a 3.2 on google when writing this review. When canceling a membership they have you come and sign a document. No issues with that...other than I suggest getting a copy. They claim a form was never signed for my gf and billed an extra month(on top of an extra month of when you cancel) and now won't do a refund. I'm now dealing with being billed and extra month. Every time I call to get clarification I can't seem to get to someone that can help me and am put on "the notes" to be called back by someone that can help....think I've been called back? All in all, if it is the only thing thats convenient and near to you(people from Timnath, Windsor, etc) please value your time and standards and spend the extra gas and commute time to go somewhere better.I wanted to update the review and let everyone that comes across this review know that management did reach out to resolve the issue. They have gone ahead and issued refunds for both my girlfriend's account and mine. I technically was properly billed due to cancelling two days late but they were nice enough to take care of me.

Cancelling a membership here is a nightmare. I moved across the country in January and (as they requested) went in person to the gym beforehand to cancel my membership. I filled out the paperwork, had a long conversation with the man behind the desk about how I was moving to New York (wish I remembered his name), and he assured me that my membership would be cancelled and I wouldn’t be charged in the future months. I just realized that I’ve been charged every month since moving, and I’m out a total of almost $200. I called the gym to explain the situation and request a refund, and they told me there was nothing they could do because they had no record of me coming in person to cancel—even though it does show in their records that I haven’t checked into the gym since January. The gym itself is fine, and the man I talked to on the phone was perfectly nice, but there have to be better systems in place to prevent something like this from happening. The workers need to be SPECIFICALLY trained on how to cancel memberships and where to store paperwork, because I followed all the proper protocol on my end, and yet somehow I’m supposed to shoulder the $200 cost because my cancellation wasn’t correctly processed. I’m not typically a complainer and I never leave bad reviews, but people should be aware that if they think they’ve cancelled a membership here, they should check their bank statements closely. Or just never move I guess.

Just went as a guest and the staff at the front desk helped with the temp sign up to make it a breeze. Xavier? Very helpful and came in with a huge save with the supplements stocked. Thank you for getting me a workout in Zone!!! Here’s a picture of some plates

My daughter joined last fall, preparing for a wedding! Signed up with the manager and clarified we would only use for a couple months. She said it would be no problem at all to cancel! She suggested a trainer for faster results. We couldn’t use him cause he was sick the first couple weeks then we realized masks were not used by trainers & cleanliness of machines was very lacking. We canceled and have been harassed ever since and they sent account to collections! We had to cancel our credit card and file a complaint with credit card company to get refund! We will fight collections! They flat out lie to your face and act like they’ve done nothing wrong! And they will not hesitate to send you to collections, even when it’s their fault. But we will continue to fight them because they are wrong and run a very poor business.1 year later (7/1/23) and no resolution from this company!!!!

I cancelled my membership years ago during the peak of Covid. I was told no more payments needed to be made however they kept billing me and eventually sent me to collections. I have been fighting with collections for a long time now and have gotten no where. It’s ridiculous and super shady that they make it impossible to cancel.

Zone fitness is a great value gym, and has have even GREATER team members. Today Stacey K. helped me solve something with my account, and she did it with a smile and a winning attitude. It’s rare to have exceptional service, and that’s what I feel I get at Zone and I’m grateful. 5 star service but giving 4 stars for maintenance issues such as torn carpet and some improvements that could be made.
