I love this gym! I have had memberships to just about every gym in Northern Colorado and this one is my favorite. The equipment is great, it is always clean and I absolutely love the staff. The energy and vibe is outstanding and that is incredibly important to me. I have had zero issues with billing and it is the most affordable place in town...especially considering all you get with this beautiful club. Also, it has awesome views and natural light.

It's a gym and there are no frills about it as a gym should be. There's a new manager and I've noticed some great changes since she's arrived like a new layout on the weight floor. Kacey is the best spin instructor in town and now she's got a new class that sounds like a good work-out. She's such a good motivator and really makes me push my limits in a great way. David is a fantastic trainer, super knowledgeable and just a fun guy. Molly, the manager of the kid's club is always so helpful and when I used to take my kids there I knew they were in great hands. The whole payment situation that occurred during Covid is a mess so I'm sorry about those people who's overdue fees went to collections. I stopped by there when I received the email about freezing payments and the front-desk helped me without a problem so I think it was best if people didn't let the payment thing slide. I like that I can go there, have space to work out, not feel crowded or have a bunch of trainers trying to sell me extra memberships. Get in, get your work-out done and go home. All good!

This place changes their management quite often, and it is recently changed to be called "Zone Fitness Club". So far, this management is my favorite. I have been going there for about 2 years, the greatest thing so far is their facilities, that all things are new, and they have almost everything you will need. They also have the busiest group fitness schedules in town, which is a plus, you could always find something that will work for your busy schedule. The reason why it has such a low review on google is due to their bad membership approach, they over sell their memberships, and don't communicate well about their hidden fees, also it's impossible to get any kind of refund and takes forever to cancel your membership. That said, if you are not trying to do any of those, you are golden.

I would give zero stars if that was an option. It is extremely difficult if not impossible to cancel a membership with this gym. I do not wish to work out in a public gym in light of the current pandemic and I tried to cancel my membership today effective 30 days from now and was told I could not do so because of my contract. I was told when I signed my contract that my membership and payment was monthly and I could cancel at any time. Due to the ongoing nature of COVID-19 I decided to go ahead and cancel. I re-read the language of my contract to be sure that I could cancel. The manager was dishonest when I joined, though I didn’t know it at the time, and blatantly lied to me about my membership, telling me I had a monthly contract and unfortunately the wording in my contract is not very clear. I understood I was signing a monthly contract. I specifically asked the manager at the time why he did not check the box next to “month-to-month” membership on my contract and I was told that was not necessary and that my membership was essentially the same as a month-to-month only with automatic payments and at a discounted rate for using the automatic debits. Nowhere does it state that I was agreeing to make monthly payments for a whole year without any chance of canceling regardless of circumstances. In fact it says I can cancel my “renewal” at ANY time, which I was told and interpreted as my MONTHLY MEMBERSHIP AND PAYMENT, not an annual membership. So assuming I misunderstood the contract, the company has stated repeatedly in other consumer reviews that they have offered cancellation of membership as an option because of COVID19. I’m confused then about why my membership cannot be cancelled now rather than in Dec., or even 30 days from now assuming I follow the contract.I should also note that I teach Les Mills classes and have for 13 years. I was asked to teach Body Combat at this gym when it first opened, but I was told the class name would have to be something different than “Body Combat” since the club at that time was not purchasing a license from Les Mills for Combat classes. I was essentially asked to lie and risk my instructor certification. This business has no morals.I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau regarding this issue, especially if membership fees continue to be withdrawn considering that this company did send ONE (not four as they like to claim) written communication stating that members could cancel their membership at any time. I will also be contacting Les Mills USA/Corporate to be sure they understand that this company seeks to circumvent licensing and distribution rights.I should also note that the “four letters of correspondence” regarding membership during the pandemic that the owner claims to have sent on several other people’s reviews never made it to me or to other friends who are members of this gym. I got one email that was sent to the masses that states, as one of the options: “Cancel Your membership: We truly hope you will not cancel your membership with us and elect to either freeze or accept a credit. Without membership dues, your health club wouldn’t exist and this would be devastating. If you feel you need to cancel, simply mail a letter to your home club stating you wish to cancel your account and sign and date it. We will process your membership and send a confirmation once this is completed.” I am now being told that my contract doesn’t allow me to cancel, even though the ONE email (not four) that was sent specifically says I CAN cancel as a result of the pandemic.By contrast, I also work out at Raintree Athletic Club which is a wonderful organization and has communicated with members and team members WEEKLY since this pandemic hit the U.S. The ZONE needs to do better and the many bad reviews are evidence of this! I sincerely hope people read this review and do not join this gym. They do not care about their members. You can also search for this company on the Better Business Bureau website where you’ll find they have an F rating and are not even BBB accredited.

This gym will keep charging you once you have canceled your membership. Months after having cancelled and confirmed my cancellation I was charged to my card. These charges were disputed and reversed only to get a call from a collection agency months later and have to explain again that the membership was canceled and forward all emails. Worst customer experience!

I would leave zero stars if possible. I was charged through the mandatory closure of the pandemic, that's fine because I intended to get the credit for the months I was charged (which yes, I know they sent 4 emails as the owner likes to state in all his responses to other poor reviews). I came in in early June and filled out a form for the credit. I was then charged on June 22nd, so I called and they said they'd be processing credits very soon. I was then charged again on July 22nd. I called and they again said credits would be processed. The manager "Josh" was a real gem to speak to. He stated that if they issued everyone credit at the same time "they'd no longer have a business." And that's my problem?! I would have cancelled my membership at the beginning of June had I known they had no intention of giving me a credit any time soon. He stated it would be within the calendar year. I don't use the gym during the summer, and the only reason I didn't cancel was because I was under the impression that I would have a credit for the entire summer until I resume going to the gym in the fall. He refused to give me any sort of refund and stated that it was impossible to stop billing during the closure. Somehow, other gyms have managed to stop billing. 🤷 I would not recommend this gym to anyone, their management is horrific.T for taking advantage of innocent people during a pandemic!!!!

Do not join this gym. They make it incredibly difficult end your membership (you have to submit a letter via certified mail and then follow up so that they actually do it). They also have shady policies that allow them to legally charge you for things like hidden fees and classes you had to miss due to an emergency. All the good classes require extra charges & are not included in regular membership. No pool or hot tub here either & are anti-children (very rude) unless you’re willing to pay extra to send you kiddos to the childcare room.

Do not join this gym! I stopped seeing automatic payments deducted from my account in March and figured they were not charging due to the Covid-19 closure. In April I got the mass email that all members received about future credits, freezing accounts, and canceling memberships. I chose to freeze my account and followed the vague instructions in the email. I never received a reply and figured the company was inundated with emails and took care of it as I still was not seeing a charge to my account. In June I had to cancel the card that was on file and contacted the gym about 2 weeks after to inform them of the change. It was at this time that I found out I was in collections for past due payments dating back to March. I had not received any notifications by phone, email, or mail (all of which were current and up to date on my account profile) stating I had over due fees. I immediately mentioned that I froze my account in April and have the email to prove it and was told that it was only frozen for the 2 month closure period from April to May and that they would graciously waive those months fees. The email did not mention a timeline. After many back and fourth phone calls to Molly who never seemed to be in the club when I called she finally got “permission” to waive June’s payment, but I would have to pay the annual member fee and July’s fees as well. I then asked to cancel my membership and was told that I could not do that as I had signed a year membership and it had yet to be fulfilled. I had signed up for the month to month plan and when asked to see the signed contract she could not produce one and had no record of any agreement on file. Since no agreement was made Molly insisted that she would remove me from collections, cancel my membership, and waive all past due fees. I had her write an email for documentation purposes stating everything we discussed. Well... today I received notice from collections for an amount twice as much as the original past balance was. I repeat, DO NOT JOIN THIS GYM!!!

I have called, emailed, and used Facebook messenger to cancel our membership since the beginning of March and no one has gotten back to us. We have 5 people on a membership that all needed to stop payments and not one time did someone get back to me. Now I had the credit card processing charge today so obviously that still works. I understand that this a challenging time right now but this started before this virus shut down our community. Gym has great facilities but the communication on membership is awful. If you can still charge my card you could return a phone call, a message, or email.

We love going to this gym. Our trainer is great, the machines are good, with a wide variety of different choices. The classes are fun. Locker room is clean, sauna works well. Tru Fit is well priced and the owner is extremely nice. This club is about 20 minutes from where we live, we pass several fitness clubs on the way to this one and it's worth the drive.
