24 Hour Fitness located in The Promenade, Garden Grove, CA, offers a mix of facilities but has seen declining reviews post-pandemic. Open from early morning to late evening, this gym provides ample machines, weights, and areas for various exercises. The staff is noted to be friendly and helpful, yet, the cleanliness and equipment maintenance have been frequently criticized by members. Despite the availability of a pool, sauna, and basketball courts, many users feel the hygiene standards need improvement along with an urgent update and repair of old equipment.

This is to combat the Derrick worthy review giving it 5 stars. It's funny an owner would come here , post and forget that his name is attached to the review. IDIOT

I've had a terrible experience with the Membership Manager. Absolutely rude and very poor customer service skills. So far 2 incidents have happened. The 1st when he refused to let myself and a group of guys play a full court basketball game. I assume he was supposed to be working...instead he was shooting around by himself hogging the court for over 20min while we waited for him to finish. Then, when he was finished, he urged a older couple and their daughter to shoot on that same hoop in a shameful attempt to again block our attempt to play a 5 on 5 full court game. The 2nd incident was more serious. I went in to the gym. Apparently there was an issue with my account (I later called customer service..my account was current and paid they just needed an updated card even though I already gave it to this gym a few weeks earlier...obviously they just charged my card and did not update the account) so I proceeded to let the 2 people at the check in desk know the I was just over charged and was even issued a refund and there shouldn't be any issue with my account. As I was explaining that...the Membership manager walked up and started talking about how my account was suspended and that I could not enter the club! He did not try to help me at all. He actually proceeded to tell me that if he had to call the police he would! At this point I was very upset given there was absolutely no need for him to even say anything along those lines. I then left and went to Bella Terre 24 hour fitness and they told me I just needed to update my card on file, "No big deal just update your card when you get the chance" I walked in worked out NO PROBLEM.Bottom line this place is ok but their "Membership Manager" (he is a African American man) is hands down terrible at his job and 100% rude and unprofessional.

Honestly, I love 24 hour fitness but it seems they have sume ugly gyms in westminster n Anaheim. Locker n bathroom are disgusting. They need to be clean. I normally go to the ones where they provide you with tools for bath n for work out. .needs improvement.

Horrible example of a gym. Staff is lazy, weights are ALWAYS scattered around. Paper towels and cleaning spray are RARELY available. I dont know what the staff is payed for, definitely needs new management. The gym is also extremely crowded with people who come in groups of 5 to socialize and stand around equipment. This gym is 2 mins from my house and I still take a 15 minute drive to go west ministers location. I work all around socal and often lift on my lunch break so I have been to virtually all 24s. This is out of the 15 locations I go to by far the worst....really disappointing I can't use a gym so close to my house
