For the price it does exactly what you want in a gym. Three comments about the Belmont, NC Planet Fitness Gym. 1. The WiFi is often out, which prevents me from watching movies on my iPad while walking on the treadmill. 2. The gym needs two more Smith Machines for the bench press area. 3. Put a paper towel dispenser in the restrooms to dry your hands.

This place has everything you need to stay in shape.PF has become a meme in recent years because of the lunk alarm and the fact that there are smith machines instead of weight benches/squat racks; but honestly unless you're powerlifting or trying to get into competitive shape, the equipment will more than suffice.And as for the lunk alarm they're pretty forgiving with it here, you have to practically throw things for them to hit it.Oh and everyone is very friendly.

The entire staff is professional and friendly. They take great pride in cleaning and sanitizing the machines just for every dsy cleanliness and safety protocols for covid.
