Too many people, even during the day on weekdays, which creates queues for many exercises. In the gym there are many useless, constantly empty simulators, and those that are in demand are in a limited number. A similar situation is observed even in the locker room. There are a lot of lockers, but there are not enough benches, so sometimes after getting out of the shower you have to stand and wait until there is space on the bench next to your locker. All this looks a little strange, since the aforementioned problems are solvable, but for some reason they are ignored by the administration of the club.I supplement the review after the response of the administration of the club and the next visit, nothing has changed. Today I waited for access to the bench press exercise for about 15-20 minutes. Later I talked to people who told me that they had been waiting for half an hour and did not understand why the gym space was organized in such a way.

ROBBED. They extended my membership to May, just in time for me to get vaccinated and sold another membership.Look how many one star reviews, cheated customers, and placeholder sorry notes there are. “We’ll do better in the future.” Doing better is giving some refund or extending the membership which they are capable of doing but are unwilling. Expect to be treated this poorly. Also, don’t enter their training program. Their trainers leave often. They switched out my trainer 3 times on me.

Don’t get a membership here ! I wanted just give it a try but never went there even once and tried to cancel my membership and get my money back. They will trick you with “FREE MONTH” but it’s actually not free, they charged me 29.95 and won’t refund. They said that I have to cancel 30 days prior to get my money back, super shady contract. Extremely poor customer service, when I decide to cancel I was on hold for 57 minutes, and never get answer ! 57 !!! Then tried to get in contact couple more times same day and never get a reply. After 3 days of exhausting emailing and calling with multiple representatives they finally called me back just to say that they won’t refund my money for “free month”. Worst customer and gym experience I ever had. I taught Golds gym it’s something good and legit before all of it, but they changed my mind absolutely. Worst then any shady small gym around. Never will get back to it.

This gym had nice facilities but is always so so crowded. They’ve canceled towel service because of covid and yet everyone is running around maskless. There seems to be a high number of high schoolers who like to roam around in little insecure gangs and take over a machine for hours on end. My workouts that are meant to be 25 minutes turn into hours cause I’m waiting for all these kids from the Glendale boys and girls club to leave a machine. What is up with people and poor steam room etiquette at this Gold’s Gym too?! Stop going in there with your nasty shoes and fully clothed. It always stinks up the steam room and makes it unpleasant cause these insecure men can’t handle being shirtless and barefoot in a steam room. Wish the staff would enforce the steam room rules a bit more. It could be such a nice facility otherwise. I’m pretty sure there’s a ton of unaccompanied underage teens always hogging the machines and that needs to be scrutinized more cause that’s a big liability for Gold’s.

Golds gym was last on my list of gyms to join, but I ended up walking in to check them out when I had to do an errand next to one. I joined with no pressure and I love them! I have been going to Noho and/or Glendale almost everyday since. The gyms are very clean, they abide by covid rules, and so friendly! There are so many machines I haven't found myself having to wait for anything. Last time I went to check out 24 hour fitness they told me to go home and print out a pass before I could even walk in the door or talk to anyone. Very happy with Golds Gym and I do not see myself switching as my base gym again. Great job #goldsgym

My girlfriend and I tried to cancel our membership during the COVID closures and they did not respond to multiple emails to different email addresses that we got from the golds gym website. They did not answer phone calls and there was absolutely no way of contacting them during the pandemic. When they continued to charge me after all these attempts naturally I declined the payment to my card.Months later I go in to re-open my membership and instead of being welcomed as you should any other paying customer they told me that instead of canceling my membership they continued to try to charge me and actually sent the debt to collections. They did this with no warning, no phone calls, no emails or anything ( but they continue to send me advertising emails almost every day)So instead of trying to help me fix this issue the workers told me that " I had sent it to the wrong email" despite using the email on their website and also separately emailing their manager directly ( multiple times with no response)They then proceed to give me a business card saying " this is the email for cancelation" which was some unrelated business card with an email completely unrelated to golds gym and not anywhere on their website. This gym is literally a SCAM plenty of other gyms in the area that appreciate your business. Stay away from these scumbags

FIND A DIFFERENT GYM!!!I cannot believe how rude and ignorant the general manager is. I wish I looked at the reviews before even stepping foot into this money hungry facility. I would have rather supported a small family owned gym! They don't tell you once you do your free week you will continue to be charged for the monthly payment along with a annual fee that was NOT mentioned that gets tacked onto the charges. When I went to cancel (because I don't live there anymore) they told me I must call their service number since I can't do it through them. No one had mentioned any 30 day notice where you will still be charged for a following month until I went to cancel. When I had been adviced to call the gym to talk about the charge they told me there was nothing they can do. When speaking with the manager he talked over me, told me how I was uncapable of an adult conversation, and how I needed to listen to him. I can't believe someone like him is allowed to be in a position and talk to a COSTOMER in this manner. I AM unhappy I was not told about any of these charges. I am not the first and I will not be the last. I will not be surprised if I continue to be charged for this membership after the 30 days.

This has been my home gym since they opened! with VIP membership which includes free guest entry. Tiffany Cashier was the rudest most unfriendly I’ve ever met ever. Eventually we were let in by one of the trainers who was very welcoming. Def had a bad experience but it’s just because of that one cashier Tiffany. Very very rude. Still love the gym though. Everyone else was nice (: Was going to do the massage chairs but didn’t want to ask the cashier 😬. I don’t think she should work there lowkey.

I have been a member of Gold's for years and this is far and away the best facility I have ever had the pleasure of joining. Tony Johnson (GM) was so incredibly helpful and personable the first time I met him. He spoke to me as a friend upon first meeting and made sure that I was perfectly paired with a trainer that was certified and specialized in the exact types of physical fitness I was looking for. He works hard to create a family environment, not only among his staff but also amongst every member that joins. My Trainer Antonio Alvarez is also stupendous. A vast anatomical knowledge and drive to custom design fitness programs to each of his clients needs makes him great. Also, he is incredibly communicative and always responds to me through the Gold's Gym App whenever I have a question about a particular exercise.I drive from North Hollywood to this Location because if you are in LA, this is the only Gold's Gym you should want to go to.Also, the facilities are incredibly clean and organized. Two Thumbs up and 5 Stars!!!

Got 18 months paid in full membership for very reasonable deal. Much less than their listed prices.Equipment is good, but a couple cable machines always seem to be out of order.Bathrooms are clean, and have staff clean them quite often. They provide sprays/towel to disinfect equipment yourselves before use.Crowds can be heavy, but expected when membership costs are almost 1/2 of competitors.
