After being in gyms for 20+ years I've never encountered a personal trainer that I felt was qualified to teach me anything. My expectation is that a trainer should practice what they preach and be serious about their profession. Nick Christian, who trains clients typically at this location, is this type of trainer. After working with Nick for several weeks, I am rethinking the habits and methods that I've learned for years. If you are serious about getting in shape, I'd highly recommend Nick at Lifetime.

Good, clean gym with all the equipment you can imagine. The child care is great, I have 4 young kids (5,4,3,1) and they ALL love it which is not an easy feat! Highly recommend!

Alert guys!I love this gym. My wife and two children love it even more. Unfortunately if your a man looking for a haircut I don’t recommend getting it done here. There’s a 50/50 chance you’ll get someone who knows what they’re doing. 4 weeks ago I had a great hair cut by a woman who’s been there a long time and had plenty of experience, she spent well over 30-40 minutes on me. But today... my hair literally got butchered. I’m so upset at myself for not confronting the lady cutting me but I wouldn't want her to feel ashamed or anything on the spot. She’s only been working over a month at lifetime and I’m sure that has something to do with her inexperience. I asked for a fade. She spent about 15 minutes unevenly cutting my hair, I had to ask her for shampoo, then a hard part.... wow I regret that. It looks like a jagged scar going across my head. She didn’t even notice my reaction while we were looking in the mirror. It’s not like me to take time out of my day and write a review about a silly haircut, it’s ridiculous.. but I wouldn’t want anyone to feel the way I do right now after spending 25$ on a mens cut. Luckily they provide childcare while I get my cut and workout, which is why I went to them in the first place.Sorry Lifetime, my family will never use the spa services again. Unless I just want my head shaved.I’ll still work out though, love everything else.

*Be aware*Lifetime Gym has very poor business practices and horrible management. And they steal, lie, over charge and you think you canceled your membership, but think again. I had a special 3 month membership for my daughter. After 3 months I canceled the membership. Low and behold they were still charging her account. I had to go 3 to 4 times to cancel it and it still wasn’t done. I threw the biggest hissy fit and they gave my money back for 4 months. But low and behold they started charging her back again for the whole year. I went to the gym and spoke to the manager named Albert! He was nice and said he will take care of it. I trusted that he would. He never called me back. Left multiple messages for him. I went back to see him and he was out of town. I met with the assistant manager, and she made some notes on the account. She told me he would get back with me. I left multiple messages for him again. He never called me back. So I called corporate and I dealt with the worse human being ever. I had to hang up because she was so unprofessional and rude. She thought she was dealing with a stupid person. Nope, I’m a well educated person and have been a member before else where. She went round and round. Never offered to even to take 24 hours to review my account. She flat told me that she will not give my money back. She forced me to write this review. My only choice is to report them to better business bureau! How could you ever charge someone who is a minor and doesn’t even drive and have not used the gym for a year. Bad management and do not believe them if they say they will "call you back". The staff there are worthless. Huge turn over with the employees. I will not recommend this club to anyone. Trust me they stole from the wrong person. If I could I would give them a 0 star. I don’t usually write reviews because I don’t have time, but this is to let people know how unprofessional they are. New manager, I thought would be good but nope, poor management skills. All the good trainers left, because management is horrible. I had a trainer there and spent a little of money, and now you want to steal from me? I was a great customer. I’m happy at a smaller gym. I know for sure they will not steal from me. People, read all the reviews. # 1 complaint is that they steal, lie and overcharge your account. I have to say this, it was the worst experience I’ve had. I am a very nice, honest and educated women. I hated that I received such poor service. Thank you for reading this.

Trying to cancel or put a membership on hold is the hardest thing. First you have to show up in person and can only be during certain times and on certain days. And if you try to call and talk to someone on the phone about canceling, they won't mention this. And anytime you call to check that the "right" person is there so you can do the cancellation paperwork, they will place you on hold for 10-15 mins. Then they will tell you that you can come in at any time and day to do the cancellation or hold. To put it mildly it was frustrating and I wish I had never started a membership with them. This is along with the problems that I had last summer when I put my daughter in the summer camp. I paid for her to have lunch provided, filled out the menu for her and turned it in. I packed her a few small snacks the first day, and when it was lunch time they told her in front of the other kids that they didn't have a lunch for her and she didn't pay, so the only thing she had to eat was the snack I packed her. No one called me about this, and they didn't mention this when I picked her up. I found out after she told me how embarrassed they made her feel when she tried to get a lunch. When I discussed this with them they said they must of misplaced her lunch paperwork and would fix the problem. I never got the promised refund for the lunch. But what made me the most irritated is that no one cared that she had nothing to eat, and she came home in tears because of it.

I’m completely obsessed with this gym, the management, and the atmosphere! Even when it’s super busy there’s so much equipment that there’s always a way to get your workout in.The staff is ALWAYS cleaning locker rooms & weights rooms to assure the best service, thank you guys!If you’re looking for a gym & can afford the luxury (slightly pricey) this is definitely the one to go to.

When I lived closer to this location, just down the street, I would come here at nights. It is a big facility, really nice. I didn't have to wait for any cardio equipment and usually didn't have to for weight machines. I loved the hot tub and steam room. I would become a member again if I didn't live too far away.

To start with the good, this is the best all around gym if you want to do a lot of different things, and have kids you'd like to include. Outside of that, they have a TON to improve on. Speaking of kids, the family locker room is supposed to be for families. There is countless people with no kids that use it as a short cut to get to the pool or outside. The worst is when you're in there with your kids and there is people using the bathrooms and showers with no kids. Talk about creepy. And they do nothing about it. All they say is "We're sorry. Keep telling us because the more complaints we get the faster something is going to happen". What? Fix the problem! If you like to work out with any type of machines you will have plenty of options. They could use to cut some machines out and put more free weights. When it's busy, forget about it.And worst of all is their customer service and communication. We've had a couple promises broken that we were told when we signed up. Talk to them about it. "I will let my manager know and they will call you to talk about it". No calls. Talk to them again about charging our credit card instead of using LT bucks like they said they were going to. "I don't think you can use your LT bucks for that. I'll have my manager call you back". No call ever received. With the amount of money you spend you would expect much better service than is received. After we use up the LT bucks we got when signing up we may be looking elsewhere.

I was very disappointed when I tried to transfer my kids summer camp to another location the Colleyville manager would not waive the cancellation policy so I was forced to pay them for two weeks of camp and pay again at the other location because they don't transfer between clubs. I understand if it was that we were cancelling but not if we were transferring.
