While I was out of town for a conference, with my approval My son went with his sister to sign up for the teen workout program — she is 24 he is 17. The fine print of this program states that he will need to be accompanied by a relative (not parent or guardian) but a relative over 18!to sign up for the program and Kendra who states she’s the front desk supervisor said she was not able to do it because it has to be a parent or guardian but the fine print states and adult relative over 18 — but what rubbed me the wrong way wasn’t just her attitude but the impression she gave when I called (after they told me about the situation) that we were not the brightest beings and that she could just say anything to blow me off — this is why I moved my membership to the gym a mile up the road

Went in to see what a $10 membership was all about. I did sign up for the low price. Ok they may have a few perks (massage chair etc.)but not worth it if you have a ton of other people wanting those perks as well so it’s never available. I’ll go get a real massage from a professional and a real tan from a tanning salon.

Nice, bright, friendly, super clean. The first few weeks were a little annoying, as they opened before everything was finished, so there seemed to be guys with ladders and construction goings on in the way, but that eventually tapered off. The whole pizza night bagel morning thing is a bit ridiculous for a gym, but I suppose even a drug dealer gives a free bump now and then to keep customers hooked.It’s truly a gym for all walks of life, low intimidation, plenty of machines, decent options. Moderate effort is the theme. But if you’re really trying to kick your own butt and have people around you to motivate you, real trainers, etc, you’ll outgrow Planet Fitness fairly fast. We enjoyed our time here, but switched over to Strive, and love it.

It’s clean and cheap and all blah blah but planet fitness is weird. How are you going to have whole empty “workout” rooms with equipment NO ONE is using IE the 30 minute workout room and kick you out if you’re not following the “red lights”?? who cares??? No one else is using the room and you don’t have certain equipment IE hamstrung curl machine in other parts of the gym. Kinda wish I would’ve stayed at Golds.

Beyond being one of the cleanest, most affordable, and friendliest gyms in the triad, Lauren’s work ethic will help give you some motivation for your workout. She is constantly RUNNING around. Lauren’s lead by example mentality is what makes this Planet Fitness stand out from the others. Thank you for making this PF a clean, safe, and friendly environment to chase the pump!

So glad the there is finally a gym on this side of town that is for regular people not just power lifters, "meat heads", and those who are already very in shape. Unlike a lot of other places the staff is kind, not pushy for sales, and very very helpful. The memberships are insane values too. For not even $25 you can go to any location you want plus bring friend a friend and get a massage on every single visit not to mention tan.

I didn't used to have any problems with availability of equipment at the gym until I went to first shift and started getting off work between 5-6 pm. The one on Golden gate Dr is absolutely horrid for people hoarding weights, the one on market is a little better but still just too many people at these hours. Waiting on weights and equipment is the last thing you want when doing high intensity workouts. This one has been the best by far. The people seem more courteous about using equipment, and time on said equipment. Definitely the best gym for the hours of 5-7.

This is probably one of the better planet fitness locations under the same franchise. The staff always welcomes you to the club, and always acknowledges you when you arrive. Everything is always cleaned, and there is always someone cleaning when I am there. My only concern is the weekends typically are very very busy for this location. Sometimes you would feel discouraged.

I couldn't be more pleased with this gym and this location! It's super clean and everyone I've met there is a great combination of knowledgeable, friendly and professional. They mean it when they say it's a judgment free zone, too -- I've never once had a problem with other members. 10/10 and would recommend.

I am overwhelmed by the nice people and how CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN this gym is. I have been going to GOLDS GYM for years and it cant compare to PF. I was skeptical when I walked in for a tour but I am staying here. GOLDS GYM is tarnished silver compared to this PF. Equipment is solid and always in order...bathrooms, locker roomsand showers are awesome and clean. Black card spa is a nice perk...
