There is a terrible employee there named Samantha. Shehas been constantly harassing me over the littlest things that no other staff member at this location has bother me with for the past 2 years. I repeat 2 years of coming to this gym minding my own business and this new hire Samantha, has been the only one to irk me on more than one occasion. Cancelling my membership!

So 2yrs ago I signed up for a membership, shortly afterwards i transferred commands and have been in and out to sea since. I emailed and called the company and was told I had to physically go into my home club(Even after explaining i was literally in the middle of the ocean) so the first chance i got i went to my “home club”. I was informed that at some point i missed a payment and i would need a manager, but according to my bank statements a payment has come out every month for the past 2 years. So i recently just got back again and went back. There was a note in my account about my attempts to cancel a manager was present my membership was canceled and “missed payments” waived but i was told they could not refund me my money, it was “above them”. This whole time (besides telling the very helpful staff member to waive my fee) the manager did not approach the counter; turn to help me or hear the cirsumstances that brought me in tonight. Instead of arguing i called HQ and they were of no help simply telling me to go back to my home club request a refund but they couldn’t give me a refund for non-use. I explained several times this wasn’t just non use i have proof of all my attempts of trying to cancel my membership. I suggest going else where! I’ve never had this issue with any other gym you get what you pay for, i only signed up because it was close to my house and cheap .The fact they expect you to physically come into a gym to cancel is ridiculous! Especially as service members who are in and out for months on end sometimes with very little to prepare. Pay the extra 10-20 bucks and go to Onelife or Anytime.

Do yourself a favor and go to YMCA. The Y has better equipment, nicer crowd, better front desk, better management, kid friendly, elderly friend, has a pool, and did I mention the employees on the floor actually know how to use the equipment? Thats right! Gym Employees who actually work out and have experience using the equipment they are suppose to manage. Me and several others who are currently at the Y used to attend this planet fitness location regularly. The staff has changed and it is not in a good way.

The perks of operation hours/price are nice, however, I had to leave a workout early today because the people next to me were taking pictures on equipment- when I looked over, I was in them. Based on the volume and tone of their conversation, I knew confronting them/asking them to stop would be a nasty experience. Disappointed that people wouldn’t have the decency to respect other people’s privacy. I didn’t sign consent for my workouts to be photographed and uploaded to social media.

i think this place is lovely. friendly staff, and i get what i feel i need out of the place. showers are always clean which is important for me cause my water situation at home is rocky so this is the only place i can get showers. get a good work out, a hot shower, and free wifi open 24 hours a day. can’t beat it!

It’s certainly cheap, you have to give them that.It also smells. Could use a good cleaning. I did not feel welcome. Didn’t see any security in the parking lot. Located at the end of a largely unoccupied strip mall, next to nail salon. Bring your own padlock if you are going to use the lockers. A tiny bathroom for the 100-200 people that are there during the rush hour. No pool, tanning consists of a few dated stand up booths. But, on the upside, it is cheap. They have plenty of machines, although during 5-8 pm or so, it’s not enough. Seems more like a social club, and if that’s your thing then give it a shot.

Friendly staff, clean facilities. Now if only the folks who use it would learn some gym etiquette. Like don't monopolize more than one barbell or set of dumbells at a time, wipe the machines down after use, don't treat the locker room like it's your personal garbage can. This is why we can't have nice things!

Great facility and equipment! I'm never able to complete the 30 minute circuit or 12 minutes abs without having someone in my way not doing what the area is intended for. I have spoken with the manager a couple of times and a few staff members about enforcing the rules for those areas so members may use them for that specific purpose, but haven't seen any enforcement by staff members. They all agree there is a problem, but they aren't willing to do anything about it.

Great place to work out for the average person. I started going because it's open 24 hours and the price is right. I've been in at all times day and night and every one of the staff is really friendly and the place is always really clean including the locker room and bathroom . Good atmosphere if you are just trying to lose some weight or get/stay in shape, but not if you're looking to compete in bodybuilding competitions.
