Its not your typical gym. People are on the equipment, using their phones. More than exercising. Guys in the locker room taking pictures, some clothed , some not. The staff sees these things and doesn't say anything.Thinking about cancelling membership. Only reason i haven't cancelled yet, is because it stays open 24/7.

Much cleaner than the Langley AFB Fitness Centers; and it has equipment spaced with more room. Just keep in mind this isn't Gold's Gym. If you're looking for a clean and quiet place to workout, you can't beat it for $10.00 a month. If some of the equipment was a but newer I would have rated it 5 stars. Newer does not imply what's there won't get the job done...lol

Clean, staff is friendly. You get a lot for the cheap price. I wish it was a little more spacious. Going with a group of friends and trying to work out together is challenging at times in my opinion. I'm considering checking out the other facilities to see if they have more room to walk around. They need more open space.

Worst Planet Fitness I've ever been to. Makes me appreciate my home gym. Some of the machines missing the numbers for the weights. The dial on the machine missing the plate so you don't even know how much you are lifting. The shower is busted. Is that hard to replace a shower head. Too many machines for that small of a place. Not room to navigate. I did like the digital scales.

Very cool place every one very nice and very help full wish I didn't work so much so I could come more often. It is really the most affordable gym especially for family's and the tv's and music are very entertaining..Those guys are the Bomb, thank you for all you do!

What a racket. I've been paying for membership at the Hampton VA location for years. Probably since 2011 if I recall correctly. I've been paying the whole time with the same card and didn't really go often. I decided to start going again and last night they denied me entry and stated that I owed $180 in fees. A) I don't understand why noone ever stated that I had an outstanding balance. I've been there in 2017 and in 2016 and they never said anything. B) If I've been paying this whole time for membership (including this month), why was I denied entry for something I already paid for. I'm looking into the whole matter and am considering moving over to OneLife. What's more is if you want to cancel you have to go there in person.

BE AWARE I have been so disgusted with This planet fitness in Hampton. They say there’s no contracts when I went to cancel so they wouldn’t draft my account anymore they said because I have the black card I can’t cancel them from drafting my account until I pay a $58 fee for canceling. Be careful they false advertise. I went to cancel in the spring because I refused to pay $58 they let a couple of months go by bam they hit my account this month nice surprise when I got my bank statement. I told the manager at planet fitness yesterday they won’t get away with this again from me. Please believe me they they must be desperate for customers to continue to draft someone’s account that tried to stop the membership.

I, like most people, want to listen to my own music when I work out. It’s nearly impossible to do so at Planet Fitness. They play their music ear shatteringly loud and say they can’t turn it town when I ask. I had to purchase noise cancelling headphones to hear my own music and it’s still not enough. I am searching for a new gym and will cancel my membership when I do.

I like planet fitness so far. There seem to be some times when it is particularly crowded, like Mondays! This is my first time attending as a member, so I will see how it goes. There is equipment I haven't tried yet, and I haven't yet attended any classes. So we'll see!

I have been a member for about 5 months now. I have complained to the front desk (like every answer you have that I've read) about dirty tanning beds, and the dirty tanning room! The floors are so dirty. I have to always clean before I use it. And always after I use! I think the lights are really old. I can't even get a little tan. I tan easy. The massage chairs, seems like one is always broke. And the hydro beds one or both are always broke! One or both of the body enhancers are always broke. And you say tell them!! That gets you no where! The one Lady told me that all the equipment that is broke is like that because they have to close the whole place down to fix it! 🤔 Really?! I told them about the rooms and beds being dirty and they say OH REALLY! Thanks for letting us know! WHY BOTHER! THEY DO NOTHING! Then there is a few that are always on their phones!! Seems like you're bothering them to check into using one rooms. One little black girl is the worst! The majority of the staff are real friendly. Just say they will put the complaint in the book. Maybe the girl on her phone could sweep the rooms something besides playing on her phone! I paid the extra to be able to use this equipment and its not enjoyable to use. I also told them about people coming in with a couple girls and the member checks in and they both go in the tanning bed! Thats how much attention some of the staff are paying. Majority of the Staff are friendly and help You. But No One does much to get the equipment fixed. And if you're answer is tell them! That hasn't worked Yet! So a new answer might be better! I've only been there a few months now and I'm disappointed with the equipment I pay extra for, and it is not working right. And tanning is sad. The lights have to be really old. And not fixing anything because they have to close the whole place down is crazy! I say Close it down fix all that needs fixing and tune up and check the equipment! It would be good and worth it to me. For a day! If that's really what they have to do! Seems extreme. But OK! I would like to be able to go in and use the equipment that's in good condition. Maybe someone above the people at the desk needs to check the book of complaints and see why there not getting fixed! There is equipment on the floor that doesn't work also. And I was told thats why there not fixed either, because of having to close down! Sorry I have to come on here and Voice all the Concerns and Complaints! But your advice of going and telling them Does Not Work! So Next! What is the next step to getting Help. There certainly has to be another step up to someone! They Surely have to answer to someone! If its separately owned then I'm sure that Planet Fitness Owner of the Name wouldn't like having all these complaints under His Name! I just got tired of seeing all your answers to everything *Go tell* that isn't working! I haven't seen a manager in there, all the different times I go.
