I usually do not post service reviews, but the Key for Fitness is an exception for Ky's exceptional training. This trainer embodies professionalism, enthusiasm, and care that will push you beyond your physical and mental limits for performance, athleticism, and overall functional fitness. His training and coaching style is UNMATCHED compared to other trainers on the island (that I experienced and heard), and he genuinely cares for every client that arrives at his training. In short, this place is a must-try for all ages, and you will feel like a completely different person after every session and accomplishment from the Key Fitness Hawaii! Thank you as always, Ky!

I had the best time training with Ky in his group fitness class this past Saturday! I recently moved to Oahu with my husband who is active duty military, and being quite a ways away from friends and family, I have been looking for ways to meet people in my community. Ky reached out to me on the Nextdoor app and invited me to his group training session. I am so grateful to Ky because I was able to meet really great people who are local to me while getting in a great workout!The movements were challenging but the positive environment and all your peers cheering you on made the workout so fun and made you feel so accomplished and good afterward!If you are looking to get into fitness or even if you're like me and fitness has been part of your life for a long time, I can't recommend Ky enough!I am so looking forward to the next group session and can't wait to experience one of his Fitness Adventures!Support your local businesses like Ky and Key Fitness Hawaii!

I joined Ky boot camp in April. I am writing this review July time goes by quickly. I have enjoyed Ky’s Saturday boot camp. It has helped build more stamina and endurance. I find Ky’s boot camp financial affordable. You can workout at your own pace. Ky is very very welcoming and shows guidance with your exercisesTom M

I'm so glad I found him. He pushes me to do what I know I can do but would stop on my own. I used to just lift weights which I still love but during this functional training is a whole different level of strong and fit. I already am so much stronger and fitter. Can't wait to see what's to come.

I have been training with Ky for 3 1/2 months. I have lost 9 lbs and 2 inches of my waist. My friends and family have notices the change in my physique. I train 2x per week. On Wednesday we do a combination of CrossFit and drop sets. This allows me to individually work on my weaknesses. The Saturday sessions feature Kybata. This is Ky’s version of HIIT. The bootcamp at 8 am has a group of 10 people. 10 Stations 4x each. A combination of exercises that work different body parts. 30 seconds in and 20 second recovery. Then a challenge Kybata where teams compete for the Saturday championship.The small group participates at 2:30 pm. This group goes 2 hours. With challenges then Kybata then ultimate challenges to test your recovery and resolve when physically exhausted. Ky tailors workouts from teens to octogenarians. He preaches functional fitness. Living your best life in a body that functions at its peak. Discipline and Consistency and maximizing your potential. I highly recommend Ky’s methods to Functionally Fitness.

Right away Ky's personable nature made me feel at ease and motivated. His boundless energy is contagious, which pushes you to give your all in each session. As others have said, what sets Ky's workouts apart is their functional aspect, allowing you to develop strength, agility, and endurance that directly translates to real-life activities.

Ky is an amazing trainer! I love his workout style as I saw great improvement of my body strength in a short period of time. He helps me get to my goals and knows exactly how to get me there. He is very positive and very encouraging which helps me go beyond my comfort zone. Definitely recommend him to my friends and loved ones. Either you’re a newbie or been training for a while, check him out, attend his Saturday session and you’ll be so inspired to make some changes for yourself. Thank you, Ky! As a student athlete my goal is to get stronger and increase my vertical. I’ve been seeing Ky for about 3 months and my vertical has gone up since. I enjoy working out with him because he makes it fun and challenging for me.
