For the most part this is a good gym, for me the location is ideal and the range of equipment is greatI would appreciate more attention to the details: equipment maintenance is always a problem unless its flat out broken. The TV is mens locker is either not working or tuned to 70 comedy reruns. Really sports or news I don’t care which channels are the only options.Pay attention management to some of the details!

The only 24-hour fitness in Houston where you can go to get a serious workout in peace. There is no heavy traffic even during peak hours as the wait time is minimal, if any, for an exercise machine. In addition, they have more than one alternative for a particular exercise equipment. The sauna is always clean and very comfortable (no standing due to a crowded room) but the sauna is always being repaired.

This gym is terrible. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. My boyfriend added me to his gym membership last year and was paying over $30 extra. When he canceled my membership, the employee he talked to did nothing and he continued to be charged for the next 6 months. When he noticed the charges were never adjusted to just his membership alone, he called the gym and spoke to the general manager there and also called the national line and was told there were no notes or attempts at canceling so they couldn't do anything. Instead, they offered free training sessions, not CORRECTING the situation whatsoever. That is at least $204 down the drain because their own employees can't do their job. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO RESPONSIBILITY ON THEIR END. DO NOT GO HERE!

The personal is very friendly. The facilities are a little bit old but it is enough for the price you are paying. They give you towels that is always welcome! The swimming pool is usually empty or with 1-2 people.

For a super sport this gym is highly disappointing. Half of the stairmasters don't work properly and they are the smaller (cheaper) type. Everything is on a different level which is frustrating to me while working out. The staff is friendly and the gym is clean.

Pretty nice gym. I love the setup here - cardio on 3rd floor, weights on 2nd floor, pool and sauna on 1st floor, and showers in basement. It makes it less hectic and crowded when its separated like this. The restrooms seem to be kept really clean lately. It doesnt get too crowded, and its right next to vitamin shoppe so you can just walk next door to shop if you need anything. The staff is friendly, and helpful. The only complaint is some of the treadmills are in serious need of replacement. Everyone fights over the nicer treadmills in front that have handle bars up top. They seem to be more stable. Most of the treadmills in the back are unstable and falling apart. If you try to put any incline they seem unsteady. Some just flat out dont work. I would say if they could just replace at least half the treadmills with the nicer handle bar treadmills I would say it was a five star place. The pool and sauna are nice too.

The thing that this gym lacks is hygiene. The swimming pool needs a much better cleaning maintenance. The saunas are one place where we can’t go due to the fact that people go in there fully closed after working out, tennis shoes and even bags. You are supposed to shower before using any of the sauna or pool facilities. BAsed on the above this is one of the worst gyms when it comes to hygiene. Even in some less developed countries when it comes to the use of saunas the standards are a lot higher. What a pity, it could be a great gym! Even though we brought this issue to the attention of the management we were told that they cannot enforce the rules, which by the way these are supposed to be posted in capital letters in the showers at the entrance of the swimming pool and on the door of each sauna.

This location is my favorite one in Houston. The locker rooms are very nice, and whoever is managing now knows how to do it right. They've got towels, tampons, hair dryers, vanity stools... Hands down the best 24 Hour Fitness locker room. The cardio room is a little outdated. The stairmasters are all old and about half of them don't work. If you're tall, you may hit your head on the ceiling above the stairmaster, there isn't much clearance. Most of the machines have personal TVs attached, which is a nice touch. Can't speak to the weight equipment, but the sauna and pool area are nice (I like that you can see out to the street through floor to ceiling windows all along the pool). All of the staff is AMAZING. Super friendly and helpful. The classes are great and the instructors are top notch. (I'm looking at you, Christi and Georgeanne!)

Not very organized and a little bit dirty. The parking lot is not efficient. Anyways 24 hours fitness is a good gym I go everyday to Rosenberg location which is super clean all the time that’s why i love this gym. But this location in downtown is not the best

Went and did the tour, and the tour guide/salesman was awful. He didn't listen to what we had to say, and was super rude when we refused to give our credit card info after we had ALREADY said we were going to shop around before committing. The facility was extremely crowded at 11 am on a Monday, with a weird shaped basketball court and sloppy set up with the weight machines. It didn't seem too clean, and would've cost $85 per month for me and my husband... Not worth it! There are definitely cheaper and nicer places around here.
