Was interested in doing free 3-day pass that was recommended by a 24hr fitness employee over the phone. When I arrived I was rudely denied access to the facility because I verbally said I wasn't interested in getting a membership at the moment when another female worker asked. Isn't the point of the 3-day pass to entice individuals to apply for membership after seeing how awesome the facility is? Just record their info to ensure that they're not applying for multiple passes. I promptly left this particular franchise and went to another nearby 24hr fitness where I was accepted without an issue and had an awesome workout in a great facility.

I go here since it is super close. Otherwise, even though it does have the saunas, they're isn't anything Super about this location. Just regular Sport. No towel service, cramped, usually 1 or 2 showers not working on guys side. You shouldn't have to upgrade to Super Sport to go here, it's just a Sport location on a second floor.

Switched from La Fitness because this location is near my apartment. Worst idea! Half the cardio machines are broken or ghetto af. You have to manually program the treadmill which is annoying. I've attended spin class 4 times and 1 of those times the instructor didn't show up. Not to mention the bikes do not show the speed range. Only plus is the hot and dry sauna. Free weights and machines are meh/standard. Take my advice, stay at La Fitness.

On October 12 i went to this location for the first time ever, and so far it is the best of the three locations in town I have been to (the others being Midtown and Rice Village). The selection of equipment is comparable to the one in Midtown where I usually lift (and both are better than Rice Village), the men's locker room was very clean, and the hot tub works wonders (jets were far better than Rice Village). As a person with asthma, I also noticed the air seemed cool and fresh. Of course, you have to fight Galleria traffic to get there. Also there is no towel service (so I brought my own). I like the one in Midtown, but their parking garage is a horrid POS that needs to be torn down and replaced. I will definitely be back to this location on a regular basis. I am there for bodybuilding, so I cannot speak to any of the classes.

Not my favorite 24 Hour Fitness, that's fer'sure! To start, it is ridiculously difficult to find a parking spot in this parking lot. There's a big open field right next to the gym, they really need to consider building a parking garage because it seriously is a nightmare.Once you finally get a parking spot get ready to wait some more baby, because yes, there is usually always a line to just check in.I come to the gym mostly to get in my swim training. There's only three lanes in their 25-meter pool, it usually gets backed up and you have to wait for people to finish their workout. And that's with two people already sharing a lane.Let's face it. This gym is overcrowded. They really need to consider a remodel/expansion because the experience honestly isn't very pleasant. I'll stick to visiting the Super Sport location in Rice Village unless I absolutely need to come here.

Gym equipment is decent, except for the treadmills which always seem to be broken. The biggest issue I've encountered at this location is the staff. I work out in the early morning (5:30) and person working the front desk will not unlock the cooler to sell drinks. I asked and he said it would take 15 mins..?? Not sure why he couldn't just unlock it, but it seemed like he was too busy talking to a girl.

This gym is not bad. It needs more housekeeping and cleaning for sure. They have a good variety of machines. This location is supposed to be Super Sport but DO NOT have towel service! The locker room area is really filthy and it stinks! The water-fountains also needs cleaning and need to be fixed.

Parking is not nearly as bad as the midtown location. I have no idea what the other reviewers are talking about as far as cleanliness - this is one of the cleanest 24's I've been to. The equipment is in good condition, except for all the broken treadmills.Overall, I enjoy going to this gym. I live closer to the midtown location, but still come to this one instead.Note to staff: Get a decline hammer strength machine!!

I am currently a member of this gym and so far I have to agree with some of the posts below, that their reps make promises that they do not deliver on. I am not sure when this became cool, but this is definitely something I have experienced TWICE since joining here a week ago. I have nothing bad to say about the gym equipment (thus far) since I only use the treadmill, but I will say that the representatives are unhelpful ( namely Josh the membership manager) and some persons are unknowledgeable of their policies (I won't list her name because I believe that she honestly did not know she was sharing bad advice).

On July 3rd, I participated in a cycling class at 12:00 noon at the 24 Hour Fitness located at Windsor Plaza Shopping Center, 5070 Richmond Ave, Houston, TX 77056, which was taught by Stephen. I was completed humiliated and disrespected throughout the class by this narcissistic bully. The bullying started with Stephen asking me to remove my headphones while cycling. He stated that I couldn’t wear my headphones in his class. I have been participating in cycling classes at 24 Hour Fitness for over a year, and those classes have been taught by over 5 different instructors, and I have never been asked to remove my headphones. He then proceeded to indirectly bully me by making comments about the people on the back row, which that was where my bike was located, about paddling in an upright position and with my hands on my waist, paddling too slow, not looking at him or myself in the mirror. This went on for 55 minutes and he never let up. I have never been disrespected in this way before in my entire life. Stephen is a complete narcissist and bully. People walk around the gym with their headphones on all of the time; that should’ve been an issue. If I want to paddle slowly because I want to pace myself during the class, I should not be criticized for it. I can now see why people are cancelling their membership with 24 Hour Fitness to become members at LA Fitness and Lifetime, the service at 24 Hour Fitness is just horrible. Someone needs to address this issue with him as soon as possible, as well as, contact me about Stephen’s behavior and explain to me the Corrective and Preventative Action that is going to be taken.
