i Used to go after midnight. Everybody was focusing on workingout, that’s it. It was ideal. Now it’s a nightmare. Peak hours are a pain. I even think twice before I go, it’s a frustrating experience. With this change of hours you screwed a portion of loyal members. Obviously the gym doesn’t care.

One of the staff at this location is super racist and discriminates on the basis of your place of origin. He has his own policy in place. He didn't allow my father to the gym although we had his 3 day gym pass stating that we need to have a Texas id which of course we don't have as he was visiting me from India for few months. I wanted my father to try the service before we buy a membership for him. He did go to a different branch on 1st day of his trial, however this branch fellow didn't allow saying it's their policy which is only for this branch. My father has his passport as a photo id.

I have been a long time member of 24 hour fitness for several years. I have not visited this club in well Over 2 years so I decided to try it out as I was in the area. WOW! Biggest mistake of my life. I entered the club and the first thing I see is the girl at the front reception being extremely disrespectful and rude to a customer. Her behavior was unacceptable, so I immediately turned around and walked out. I called back to get her name and was told it was “Kayla” . I have never in my life seen the first point of contact talk to a customer some type of way. She was loud, rude and very unprofessional. I will Be calling corporate tomorrow to report this event.Needless to say, I will never be visiting this location again and to be honest if this is the type of employees they hire, I may need to find a new gym to join!

I went there for a five days free pass. One of the trainers told me that I could not use it because I had used one before. The first time I went, one of the male trainers got upset at me because I didn't buy any of his services. He said " I know what you come for" when ending our conversation. I don't remember his name, but they need to understand that not everyone wants or can afford a trainer. Show more professionalism. Be nice to people. It doesn't cost you anything guys.

Kaila was the worst front desk worker i’ve ever experienced at a gym. Called before walking in the confirm the price of a month to month membership with the email i received saying free sign up fee. Go in person and she tells me it’s gonna cost $50 more than what the gentleman told me on the phone. After i left, i received an email for a free guest pass. I call to see if i can use it even tho I had a trial at this location before. She tells me i can’t, because in the fine print is says for first time guest. So, she tells me it can be miss leading. Why send me a guest pass when i told you i used a trial before if I couldn’t use it? I read the email, I don’t see anywhere that it says for only first time guest. All they are worried about is making money. I can see why many people choose LA Fitness over 24 Hour Fitness in Houston. Worst customer service i’ve ever dealt with. Literally no nothing about what they are selling or their promotions. Then sends me a guest pass saying I can’t use it? Then why send a guest pass then AFTER i left and you didn’t get my money? DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION!

Terrible service.New managers are gonna fool you as much as they can.My apartment complex was flooded and our gym wasn’t operating. So they bought us monthly passes to workout at 24 hour fitness. However, the new managing team would not accept them.I called corporate and the issue seemed to be resolved. Jay, one of the managers told me it was all good and I was supposed to come today up to 9pm again to finish registration or whatever. I came but he wouldn’t do anything because he wants to leave to his superior.Really frustrating situation. You can tell people don’t enjoy working there.

The customer service skills that Assistant Operations Manager Victor is unacceptable. I was upset that my account was frozen instead of cancelled therefore i was charged. I was talking and he doesnt let me finish what im trying to say. That doesnt show he cares about my concern and i already know hes not going to assist me. Finally i get the chance to express my disappointment and he was typing something in the computer he said “im listening, im just multi tasking, unless you dont want me to do anything and we can just chat all day” looking at his name badge made me question his title and experience. Assistant Operarions Manager, this is very concerning, he even mentioned 24 hour fitness wants to keep members from cancelling. I would not be surprised if this branch will have lesser members with the galleria location a lot of elite members i expect high quality customer service from staff specially managers.

The gym is cool. But they are not focused on members. More about money. As a 3 yr member that always heavy promoted on social media now I’m considering taking my time else where that’s more about common sense than the dollar.

Half of the lockers are broken so you cant use them and the other half are being used. You have to carry your bag/ purse around the gym as you work out. Update: So today I found an empty locker and placed my purse inside and made sure it was 100% locked. I worked out for an hour and went back to my locker to find it open. My purse was still there. But WHY and HOW was my locker open?!! I went downstairs and asked the lady at the front if she knew anything. She said she doesnt know anything. Like seriously. Do not use these lockers. Thats if you find a decent locker to use.

These are the pushiest sales representatives I've ever met. I'm in college, working two jobs, and covering all of my expenses. When I had told Charlie that I wasn't interested after trying a day of the 3 day guest pass he rudely says, "wow you really can't afford $30 a month?..." I was honestly shocked that he would say that to me in such a harsh tone when isn't the goal to get me to sign up? This is the last place I would want to spend my time and let alone the little money I do have. I recommend any other gym or best of luck at a different location!
