Planet Fitness

We are new to town and new to Planet Fitness. We moved from a place where were members of an excellent YMCA and first tried the city rec centers. They just don’t have the equipment that we were looking for and parking was a huge hassle. We decided to try PF and really loved it right away. Josh gave us a great orientation demonstrating the machines and emphasizes form and starting with small steps. There are a ton of machines here for all kinda of cardio and several weight machines for each muscle group so we have never had to wait. They have a 30 minute circuit just like Cutves that I’m excited to try. Kristine the general manager greeted us our second visit and was generous with her time showing us the app and water massage beds. Everyone has been so kind and courteous and being a bigger person I really feel comfortable here - they live the “no judging” motto. People of all shapes, sizes and colors are here and just doing their own thing. I would highly recommend the black membership. My spouse and I both got one - you get free use of the massage area, free coaching and classes and can bring one free guest with you which means my teens can come with and we are paying way less than our family membership at our old Y. Check it out!

I go to U of I and it’s always so busy at the rec. I went to planet fitness to try their gym and it was easy and quick to sign up. They have a lot of equipment. And it’s not packed 24/7. They have a lot of resources like tanning, classes, massage chairs..etc. The GM Kristine sighed me up as a black card member today. She was awesome! Thanks again Kristine!

Travelling reviewer here :. Hits... Friendly welcoming staff. They recognized that was from out of town and welcomed me. Nice clean club. Not to busy at off peak midmorning weekday. Seems to be a city of cute chicks here. Nice well adjusted massage chair one of the better ones I've tried. Nice assortment of all the typical machinesand what I thought was extra good was a really well-thought-out placement of the cleaning stations. No matter what machine I picked there was always a station within a few paces. Not like that at every location. Nice warm shower as well. Only low point... Old first gen shower stalls. Somewhat loose faucet handle. But I found them nice and clean..including the curtain. An nice club I'll look forward to stopping back.

I absolutely love this gym! It doesn’t matter how busy they are they always have enough equipment for everyone. They have a wide assortment of weight machines, free weights, exercise bikes, treadmills, elliptical machines, and a TON of fitness training classes too! The manager and everyone who works there are extremely helpful and willing to help you with any fitness questions you have. Also, the locker room is enormous and has very nice showers that you can use after your workout. I highly recommend this gym. It’s VERY inexpensive and has a nice/no judgment type of atmosphere that any and all people can feel comfortable in :-) I love it! 😀👍

Workers are nice but people are not. Women's bathroom is really clean. Machines or any type of equipment you need to clean before and after each use. They have about 10 TV's to watch something different and they have social distancing between each machine. I will still be coming back to work out for my own purposes to meet my goals. Thanks Planet fitness. Keep up the good work you do!😊

My wife and I wanted someplace close by our house, so Planet Fitness was less than a mile or so away. We are both doing the typical New Year's resolution, losing weight, which is important more for me as I am a diabetic and considering weight loss surgery soon. I signed up late Sunday night, got the premium membership for the amenities PF offered, and my wife and I went on Monday to work out.Lots of equipment was available, and the 30 minute circuit room excited my wife because it looked exactly like Curves workout equipment. Tuesday, we had signed up for a tour with Josh McC, one of the trainers. He talked with us about the equipment, showed us the weight machines, and how to use them safely. He was polite, knowledgeable, and available for questions. Kristine introduced herself as we were waiting to use the hydro bed and massage chairs.Kristine is the epitome of customer service, and her attitude was bright and cheerful. She introduced us to other aspects of our membership, and was helpful with giving us more knowledge about the app, various workout videos, and other perks.I am looking forward to losing weight, and using other PF facilities if this is a standard example for PF business. Thanks!!!

Kristine is amazing! She’s extremely friendly and such a sweet lady. She was very helpful with any questions I had and really made my experience a positive one.The gym is clean and there’s a wide variety of equipment to use. You never have to worry about not finding a machine to use because there’s so many to choose from.The staff are all very friendly, and the level of service and equipment you have access to as a basic member is well, well worth the cost. Definitely recommend this location!

Kristine the general manager is very considerate, nice and it shows that she really cares about the needs of the guests. I come in and she says hi and remembers me.I leave and she says see you next time. I look forward to going to workout. I love the non judgmental part of Planet Fitness. I love the 30 minute circuit, it is so well set up.The massage chair, tanning, hydro massage beds and other extra amenities with the $20 membership are worth paying the extra $10. Can't wait to go agian soon.

A clean environment. Equipment is top notch. You won't find a better deal on a gym membership anywhere else. I can't review the personal training because I have never worked with them. Staff is generally friendly.

I've been going here for a while, the building is clean and the staff is friendly. But what wrecks my experience is the creepy older men staring at me. Look I don't mind a glance or two but when these pervs are just straight up staring at me it's incredibility distressing and I've reported it to staff but they haven't done much to help. Which is a shame sense the rest of the gym is so nice. :/
