Significant decline in quality of cleanliness & building maintenance at Johns Creek location since my family joined in 2009. No longer 24hrs for “facility upkeep/maintenance” yet the only handicap accessible shower in Family Changing is broken, locker room sauna is out of service, leisure pool is closed, Studio flooors are covered in hair & debris, & air vents are clogged with dust & dirt. We expect more from Johns Creek location. Does the new management team care at all about the member experience? Why are we now paying more money for less quality, limited hours & fewer amenities?! No towels or Kleenex in Family Changing room, filthy baby changing stations, no feminine products in ladies locker room, over-chlorinated whirlpool, no bandages or first-aid kit! Get it together LTF!

Gym isn't terrible. I really enjoyed the group fitness classes. The amp, CRT, step, insanity, etc etc. Overtime Time my priorities changed and I no longer could justify paying for the membership. I'm thankful for the time I was able to enjoy there. Great facility if you love fitness and have extra cash to burn.

This place was okay. The locker room place is really dirty though. There are towels all over the ground and it is a mess. However, the pool service is good and the gym. However, I was part of the recent incident that sent me to the ER from the chlorine malfunction. I don't blame it on Life Time though, it's an amazing place

I tried to canceled my account in November 2017 since I need to go out of the country for a long period of time. The account manager Armando recommended that I should put my account on hold instead. However, he did not inform me that there is a $15/month charge to put the account on hold. When I get home, I received an email stating that there will be a $15/month charge to keep the membership on hold. I sent an email back to the account manager to request the cancellation, she did not reply to my email. I went back to Lifetime Fitness to cancel the account, 2 months later when I check my credit card, I had been charged $15 twice to put the membership on hold. I honestly never thought I would experience this in Lifetime Fitness! What a dishonest act that they have done to me! I have called them again today, hopefully they will stop the recurring charge or I will have to report it to the consumer report.

I joined the club because I wanted to take advantage of the pool. What's not explained or emphasized enough during the enrollment process is that from 4:45pm - 9:30pm the pool (lap and leisure) are reserved for swim team practice or youth programs. While not ideal, I had moved my schedule around to swim before bed instead of after work. Now however, the club has decided to drop the 24 hour format that I joined under an close from midnight to 4am (I've heard four separate reasons and the one I believe most is the one the GM denies hardest). Since I usually found myself leaving at midnight thirty, because I had to deal with the extreme limitation on the available pool hours, I find the club has lost all value. There are many options in the Atlanta area, many much more cost efficient than Lifetime, any New Year's Resolution club shoppers should explore those fully before considering Lifetime.

Fantastic facilities and amazing staff. Great job at making you feel comfortable as well as welcomed. Group classes are great. Very spacious. The locker rooms as well as the fitness areas have always been clean. Basically everything a gym should be and more. They gym also has a service to allow parents to leave their kids for up to two hours while they work out, and my six year old absolutely loves it. Some days I have to drag myself to the gym just because he wants to go so bad.

I love this gym. Equipment is always being changed so it’s always new. Facilities are spotless. Kids club is amazing, the only one I would trust my kids with. The outside pool is great. Special shout out to Jordan Allen who does a fantastic job managing the cafe outside, even personally bringing food items when they are only available inside.

Surprised to see that the rating for this facility was lower than 3 stars. It is an overall clean and organized facility. Trainers are very knowledgeable and professional. They are very patient and encouraging to help you achieve your goal. I agree the shower room can be cleaner. The women’s locker room is clean and always has sufficient supply of clean towers. There are plenty of well thought training / dancing classes to choose from. Since I am not in the late crowd, closing at 12am didn’t bother me.

I read the poor reviews about Lifetime fitness before I joined but didn't want to believe them, now we are paying the price! Our family has attended for several months now. We joined mainly for the swim team and swim lessons that we were told my kids could take while I worked out. (not true, you must be in the pool area during the lessons even if they are great swimmers)The pros: The fitness equipment and most personal Trainers are top notch. The group classes/instructors are amazing! The negatives: We were deceived in order to get us to pick them over One Life fitness (which is the one we wished we would have signed up with) We almost cancelled the membership right after joining when we realized several things we were told just were flat out not true. My child wanted to be on the swim team there so we decided to deal with the disappointments with the price, some staff members, less features than we thought, etc... But the pool staff is horrible! They hang out in the back together and are not friendly or helpful. They are also very disorganized, lose paperwork causing wasted time for members and flat out rude at times. I was turned away for being 5 minutes late to a swim appointment (2 minutes of that time I was stuck at the front desk waiting my turn to check in). They are also the only gym in the area that does not have a lounge inside the locker rooms. I recommend the YMCA in Cumming or OneLife Fitness if you are looking for a more cost efficient option with better customer service.

The pool lifeguards are arrogant and looking for an excuse to not work. They behave like they own the club and we are outsiders. When one complains about the club ... forget about trying to understand the customers point of view. They have the audacity to tell their customers that if you don't like this place leave the club. These are the people at the aquatics. They close the indoor pool and open the outdoor pool even when it is chilly. When several members complained the club manager said that majority of the whites at the club like it like this... That response should tell you how this club admin behaves..The only reason I like this club is that they have a heated indoor pool, when it's open.
