This is a high end gym with excellent equipment and staff. Management took it on themselves to learn my name so they could greet me every time I walked in. To me the gym's greatest perk is their indoor pools, being able to swim year round is the main reason I'm a member, that and they partnered with my employer to give me a reduced membership rate!

This gym has a ton of amenities and all lot of good things going for it. But what amazes me the service fee charges they tack on each time you make a small change to the membership. For instance, if you add a family member to your plan, there is a $10 service fee, and another $10 service fee if you need the same person removed. So in essence, $20 for 2 mouse clicks. Because all the service rep did was open my account and add/remove the service member with a few mouse clicks. It didn't even take her 5mins to do the task.

I am a charter member at Lifetime and I absolutely love it. From Jeff's Spin Class on Saturday morning to Josh's dance classes on Wednesday I'm addicted. It's super clean, the staff goes WAY beyond and the equipment is fantastic. I truly feel it is my fit family that got me through a divorce. Sitting at the outdoor pool is super relaxing and my meditation. I've started doing yoga and boxing with a Trainer. The restaurant is healthy and yummy and I sometimes go there on my lunch break. Lifetime is the reason I'm healthy, happy and getting fit. Thank you for going the extra mile.

Lifetime is absolutely my gym of choice. It cost a little more than most gyms but its worth every penny. Clean gym, great staff, clean lockers and bathroom always clean.. food is great and pool is absolutely refreshing. LaFitness is a dump compared to these gyms.

Had the same billing problems and cancelling membership as Doug and others mentioned here. For example they added additional magazine fee to montly payment without permission, I never even got the magazine in mail. Anyway another was …

Good to see honest reviews and an accurate rating. This facility started off posh and upscale and has declined into exploitative, unsanitary chaos over the years. It has been overrun with poorly behaved children, disgruntled and dishonest …

The customer service at this particular location in Johns Creek, GA is inefficient, has lack of true customer service skillset, inattentive to my needs, unresponsive to my messages, and when you do finally get member services management on the phone, they are truly NOT listening to your issue that you have been trying to resolve for 6 WEEKS with countless voicemails, paper messages, pop-up visits to the gym to speak with management (whom were never available), and numerous calls to corporate office, who just refer you back to your local gym. A total waste of time, energy, and money in my opinion. Total lack of respect for my time and I am a new member. Disgusted!! Finally after talking to Kaitlen at Johns Creek, all she had to offer me was a mouthful of apologies, some LT Bucks, which I don't need and $40 off my member for two months. NOT SATISFIED.Renae

Horrible customer service, canceled with David Earle, they make you pay for full 30 days after you cancel. Honestly being there for such a long time and when I leave they just smile at you and rip you off. The night crew is horrible, the locker room is filthy, towels all over the floors and counter tops, and I had to ask for clean towels many times. F- Service

Was a member at this lifetime for 3 years or so. I’ve got a few family members that are still members. Met with Jenna and told her my situation and she was super inflexible. I told her I was back in Georgia for 10 days. She told me that they have 1, 5, and 38 day passes. Apparently she was restricted from offering anything accommodative from “corporate”.She generated literally zero goodwill with me even though my family has been going there for a long time which you think would be worth something. Plus if it meant I might re-sign-up in a year or two if I come back to Georgia. One would think that, being a smart salesperson they would’ve tried to generate some goodwill by helping me a little (in all likelihood I would’ve signed up for a 5 day pass if I felt they were being helpful). But because of her inflexibility, I will sign up elsewhere (la fitness or anytime fitness) and likely when I do come back to Georgia I won’t be joining lifetime! But it is what it is! One would think a gym that has a strong brand presence would be more long term focused with customer loyalty but apparently not.

Edit: The review by Jeff Bolton seems to be a conflict of interest to me since he is the manager at this location. I also added a picture of the date I cancelled. To which I was still charged into March. However, I only did recoup the charges from February and March. Very sad to see from such a reputable organization. If you want small monthly fees added without your discretion and not have your membership cancelled when you physically sign their form, then this is the perfect place for you! Mishkat have me the run-around and tried to pass me off to someone below him who hasn't called or responded to any of my communications.
