The Johns Creek location has amazing members and friendly team members that truly care about what they do. Love the fact I don’t have to worry about waiting for a machine or piece of equipment even during peak times of the day. Then when I go to the cafe after Leila always remembers what shake I like. Lastly, they offer great corporate partnership programs that make an employees use the club to get additional monthly savings.

The gym is clean and the staff at the front desk are friendly, but my God, the cafe staff are plain rude, i ordered a smoothie and got my number and put it on the table, 10 minutes later one of the workers takes it away, not sure why because i was waiting for something i paid for, then 20 minutes later i was getting really mad and so it went up tot he cashier and told him that i didn't get it yet and he was so rude and annoyed about it and he didn't seem like he believed me and so he looked through the history to see if i was lying or not, i wasnt, and then he told me to "go away and sit down" and then stormed off to make it, didn't take too long but it was very frustrating to see staff at a place like lifetime act like that. Not happy with the cafe but the gym is nice

Like others, I’m really not sure why the reviews are so low. I have been an on and off memeber since this facility opened. (Finanaces we’re always an issue for our family with the economy). Finally, I worked out a plan with them because of my financial issue and they were happy to accommodate my needs. I always find clean showers and clean locker rooms. I always get the equipment I need. I once heard a guy complain to the staff about the steam room but he just came off as really entitled and was very rude to the staff. Maybe all these 1 star reviews are also entitled or maybe they are legitimate issues. All i know is in over 7 years with this gym i have never walked into an issue.

I highly recommend this club over every fitness facility I've ever been to! The staff is amazing and this is much more than just a gym. Lifetime offers top of the line equipment, instructors, staff, boutique fitness classes (includes with your membership), a spa, hair salon, nail salon, steam rooms, saunas, rock climbing walls, indoor and outdoor pools with water slides and food/beverage services, and a very nice children's center. Management is very professional and I would consider this a luxury health and fitness club. There are also social events and many friendly people that get together for social events there. I got in the best shape of my life by training with Crystal and attending different group classes offered throughout the week. You will not regret getting a membership here!

Relocated to Atlanta in fall of 2017.As a silver sneaker, I was able to attend other local gyms( who participate in this program for free). Going to Lifetime in Johns Creek was a game changer for me. I have been to several gyms in SC and not new to gym. I did not mind paying $79.00/ month because you get what you pay for. Lockers are always clean including clean towels. Service staff, front desk staff and administrative staff are professionals and helpful. Workout area, studios arealso clean not cluttered. I highly recommend this place where I am proud to take my grand children. Feel blessed to have Lifetime within my vicinity. Thank you and keep up the good work!

This is a great gym and bearing in mind the size and how popular it is I think the staff do an epic job at keeping the place tidy and we'll kept. Kit is always in good condition, showers and changing facilities are clean and tidy. Towels are always available and staff are helpful. The facilities offered are great, b things can get a little busy at times, especially on the weekends, but there is generally space for everything to happen.Great gym.

I was charged $60 Admin Fee when I joined the club. Before I joined the club, the salesperson told me this admin fee would be refund to my credit card soon. However, now 3 month passed, no refund at all, no reply for all my emails. I sent a …

Cancelled membership last year due to medical reasons. Found out I have been charged since January for a membership.Call to talk to manager, she did not return my call.I did speak to Brittney today can't find my cancellation paperwork and Armando no longer works there. It's easy to get a membership but make it extremely difficult to end one!!!

Decent club overall. There is also a lake next door where you can run next to the fitness center which is a nice option. My only major complaint is that they changed from being a 24 hour fitness center to closing at midnight. There are still lots of people there at midnight trying to scramble to get out the door. Then they re-open at 4 in the morning when nobody is awake. Strange. Why wouldn't they have closed it from 1am - 5am?

I rarely gave bad reviews to local business. However, my experience of this week with the Life Time Fitness team, especially the Member Services Manager in Training Kaitlin Casey, far exceeded any bad experience I had anywhere else. They earned the worst rating and the longest review I ever wrote.I have been a member of Life Time Fitness of Johns Creek since 2015. Because I traveled a lot and spend most of my time running on outdoor trails when I am back in town, I couldn’t justify paying $80+ per month for occasional usage of Life Time Fitness. I joined LA Fitness Johns Creek on January 29th. Their monthly fee is a quarter of what I paid Life Time Fitness. Much more reasonable for what I getThe same night I joined LA Fitness, I went to Life Time Fitness to cancel my membership. A gentleman that I can’t remember name asked me to fill out a pink form and told me that I would see one more charge on my credit card and all would be set.I did see the charge posted in February. I thought all should be clear and threw the pink form away. It turned out to be a big mistake. I should have read the reviews on Google and Yelp and should have kept the form for my record for at least another a few months.I noticed another charge on my credit card being posted the night of March 30th. I went to Life Time Fitness on April 1st to check what’s going on. I was surprised to find out that I have to cancel my membership AGAIN. This time, the girl at the front desk used computer to capture my signature. She told me that someone at Life Time Fitness needs to put my cancellation into “the system”. I should sign on a digital signature pad, instead of the pink paper I signed the evening of January 29th. I should have received an email of cancellation confirmation from the member service manager. The gentleman I spoke with the night of January 29th never told me about all above. It seems they didn’t put my cancellation information into the system. I was still an active member. My credit card was still being charged. The front desk girl told me that I don’t need to worry because LifeTime Fitness should have kept a copy of the cancellation/customer service form I filled out on January 29th. The Member Service manager Kaitlin Casey will come in office the next day to address this issue and will call me.It never happened!I went to Life Time on April 2nd, waited for 20 minutes for the team to locate Kaitlin. She told me that she didn’t see a copy of my form and needs to call “the corporate”. She put notes into the computer and promised to call me the end of the day to update me on the progress.Again, it never happened!I went to Life Time the following day, waited for another 30 minutes for the team to locate Kaitlin. She seems totally forgot what’s going on. After searched in “the system” and a few minutes Q&A, she finally recalled what she promised. She told me that she could not locate the copy of the customer service form I filled out on January 29th. Ha, seems someone also failed the corporate record management process and didn’t retain my record accordingly.Kaitlin said that she needs to escalate the situation to the general manager Mishkat Lightwala. She put a reminder on her computer calendar, and promised to call me back 9:30 AM the next day.Again, it never happened! I called the number on her business card and left a voice message. She never called me back. That's it. I will work directly with Life Time corporate and my credit card company to get my money back from so on.I believe good communication and trust-based interaction is the key to good customer experience and success business. I haven’t seen any of that in this team. They are unprofessional. They failed to follow set business processes. What makes it worse is the empty commitment they made to their customers.A few tips for potential and current members1) Always keep a physical copy of paperwork2) Don’t buy their promise. Be prepared for the worst3) This is a franchise. Owners do whatever they want4) There are much better alternatives
