GREAT PLACE☺!! Go n check it out...value is there for your money...also Hardings next door...has a deli n salad bar...great location in portage...clean after your turn...I like that...clean bathroom...☺

Clean environment, friendly staff. This is one of the nicer gyms that I have been too. The machines I want to use are usually always available.

Very focused gym with well-maintained equipment. Wish it had classes and more than one personal trainer. Month-to-month is available. Teens are welcome. When Google Live works you can easily beat the crowds.

I had a horrible first experience while traveling for work at a Planet Fitness in Texas with the lunk alarm going off with its loud WEE WOOOO WEEE WOOOOO. I complained to management and they gave me a free day pass to the Portage, MI location where I was traveling next for work. With trepidation I went there and had a wonderful time. The staff was warm and welcoming. I had a tour with the manager who was more than accommodating and showed me around the gym. I feel like good people don't get enough recognition, and I really want my small voice to be heard this very large world of ours. Thank You!

Good value. Have the VIP cards for a little over $20 a month and can bring a guest free unlimited times. I hardly am without a workout buddy. Friendly staff and normally is very clean there.

What a comfortable and friendly place. The staff are amazing and management are on point. Clean, polite and always willing to help. I was a former trainer and there training staff is second to none! Go see for yourself, you won't be disappointed!

Really is a nice no judgement zone. The cost is cheap and what they offer is well worth it! The Tanner, massage tables and IR tanner is a nice add on. 22 a month for full access. The discounts for the black card members are nice as well. So if your a slouch or just want to excerise and stay fit then this place is for you. You won't regret this gym what so ever.

My boyfriend and I go there at least three times a week, trying to get in shape, the place is huge, has so many different weight machine or treadmill!! Very clean, employees are friendly. Great place to work out. I so do recommend this place to everyone.

By far one of the most affordable, and nicest gyms. For $10 a month, you get a basic membership. For $20, you get a black card which includes tanning, massage chairs & beds and additional perks. I can't think of another place that I can get all of that for just $20! It does get busy, but everything is maintained and when there is any sort of issue, it's resolved quickly.

The staff are always friendly and the equipment is always clean and well-maintained. As someone who attends the gym regularly and goes in with a plan, Planet Fitness works really well for my budget. The locker room is always clean and I never have a problem getting on the equipment that I need. I go early in the morning (6:30a), but they provide you with a sheet at signup showing how busy they are at all times of the day. I haven't had any problems with Planet Fitness charging me unauthorized charges as I am not in contract and only pay the $10/month membership fee. My gym expectations are simple access to dumbbells, barbells, weight machines, and a good variety of cardio machines for an inexpensive cost, and Planet Fitness Portage fits the bill.
