My home gym! The staff know me by name and make me feel very welcome, greeting me with a hello Scott as I walk in.The facility is always clean, and staff also cleaning while I'm there working out.The equipment is never down and if it is not for long, well maintained for sure.Free weight section is not as large as a typical gym but good enough to do what you need to do. I have never in the few years I have had a membership had anything to complain about.One last thing, about the pizza and donuts... Its a choice, I love the fact that they are real about life. Small rewards 1 time a month WILL NOT derail your fitness journey at all! So eat a piece, or don't. But don't hate them for showing love to the members that work their butts off to enjoy a little pizza or a donut once a month!I love my Portage Planet Fitness, it's my home gym and I was able to lose over 40 lbs. The work you put in reflects your results not the gym you go to. 9

If your looking for a good place to get your shake back on. Look no further. Planet fitness is awesome. I travel all over and am very greatful for my new membership at Planet fitness. Beats anytime fitness any day.

A nice place to workout and well maintained facility. The location is in the heart of portage. All the machines are pretty well maintained and look clean. There are cleaning stations everywhere to sanitize the equipment before and after using them. The lockers are clean and spacious. There are different amenities like massage, tanning etc depending the kind of membership you get. The parking lot is huge and very well lit even at night. The gym is in between Dollar tree and Hardings which makes it even more ideal in case one needs to grab a snacks/groceries before or after their workout. Overall a really nice place to work out. Plus its open 24 hrs which makes it ideal for people working all shifts.

There are three men that come in every morning(9AM-ish) (one carries a blanket of some sort) that stare at multiple women just trying to workout. It is super uncomfortable and I hope staff says something.

I enjoy working out here. Friendly staff and very knowledgeable and available if I have any questions. Judge free zone. Makes me feel nice and relaxed.

Great, clean, non judgemental gym I've ever attended, after having to take a brief about of down time . I find that i wouldn't go anywhere else. My return will be coming shortly.

Decent place and nice staff, some equipment could use a much needed upgrade and repairs other that that my only problem is you can’t cancel a membership or handle anything with you account online or over the phone, it must be in the club and that dosnt work well when you get charged unexpectedly while your 6 hours north and can’t dispute things till a week later

Keep in mine that no matter what situation, broken limbs, no car, they will not help you cancel your membership unless you go there in person and cancel it. They will keep billing you until you cancel it in person. Even if they say "yes we'll help you cancel it" they won't, unless you go there in person

A Very clean and friendly gym. The equipment is always working and in great shape. I have the black card which allows you to bring a guess everytime for free.Update. May 18th 2021Still a great place to workout..

Clean facility with helpful staff. Love how I can go state to state and know the general layout as they are all pretty similar. Plenty of cardio equipment and a decent mixture of weight lifting equipment.
