Fraudulent charges to my debit card since November 2018 after cancelling my account. Still dealing with this nonsense. Can provide a USAA Fraud Investigation snapshot of a claim in my favor.

They are by far the worst gym I have ever been to. Their representation of the company is so garbage they promise you so much stuff and you end up getting screwed over. Membership department lie to you about your monthly. Please avoid Gold’s gym! RUN

Was not a fan at all. I was visiting the fort hood base and decided to check out Gold's Gym. I'm a huge gym rat I compete and the gym is my outlet. So when I walked in I spoke to a staff member named Kevin. I told him I'm visiting and in the military. I asked about their day passes since I have always wanted to be a member of Gold's Gym. Kevin replied yes you can go online and fill out the 3 day pass. I asked 3 days he said yes there is a 1 day and 3 day pass. I said okay thank you and left. I came back later that night to gym since the gym stays open until 12am. Which is a plus by the way. I spoke to another staff member named Benjamin. I told him I filled out the 3 day pass online and my nephew and I are here to gym. He said oh are you a resident of cooperas cove, texas. I said no I am not. I spoke to staff member Kevin earlier today and told him my situation. Benjamin then replied oh sorry you have to be a resident. I then said I'm here on military orders and Kevin never mentioned such thing. I then asked well since I was told mixed information can I just gym for tonight. He said nope sorry. He was super arrogant about it. I then said okay well my aunt is living here she is a resident can we just use her address he said nope. Still being arrogant. I then replied can I speak to someone else about this he said I'm the only one here. I then asked okay so you mean to tell me you can't allow us to gym for 1 day since the staff clearly got the information wrong telling us. He said if I let you then I have to let everyone. I understand that sir and then I clearly looked around and said who's everyone. What is sad about this situation is the fact that he decided to badger me about who Kevin that I spoke to earlier looked like. How is that related to the fact that I have a staff members name I clearly know there is a 3 day pass and Gold's Gym got their information wrong. Let's just say Benjamin clearly did not give 2 craps about the situation and I will no longer return to this location and I hope all the military brats and military service men and woman know this. Benjamin did also state that since my retired aunt that was in the military for 22 years and retired out of fort hood she lived in copperas cove, texas just recently moved to Kempner which is a smaller town not even 15 minutes from Gold's Gym. She is not a resident of Copperas Cove, Texas. She is not allowed to use the 3 day pass as well. Horrible staff not too happy. Will never gym at this place ever. All military personnel. Use the base gym. Your better off and that place is not worth the hassle. Hope this Benjamin guy gets his facts straight and is reprimanded for how arrogant he was being. You lost a member here if I was ever to be stationed there. Good luck.

Wonderful gym, everything you ever wanted in a gym plus more. The staff are professionals, and the best kept secret are the people who attend this gym, friendly, helpful, and social. This is probably the best gym I have ever been apart of. Enjoy your workout.Jessie Gongora.

Giving only one star due to safety issues with the child care. The GYM is beautiful, super clean, front desk staff very friendly and cordial.Child care- the experience is different. A worker brings her daughter with her and pays ZERO attention to the other kids on top of that her daughter likes to hit kids and GRAB them baby their necks. MOST importantly NO ONE corrects this behavior. We don't feel comfortable bringing our kids as long as the girl is there.

It’s clean, the staff is very friendly and helpful, I take my fitness journey serious so what it costs doesn’t really bother me. However I didn’t sign up there I signed up in Houston so I don’t know what everyone else is paying. My wife likes the kids club here as well. The ladies take good care of the kids and are patient with my child who has some separation issues. Killeen Golds is 4 min from my house and I still drive 15 min to Cove Golds because I like it better. Having another platform for deadlifts (it’s occupied 80% of the time I go)would be helpful though that would be my only complaint so far and I been going there for a year now.

Great new facility. Very willing to work with you to meet your needs. Someone from probably another facility screwed up my billing and charged me twice, and tried to give me the runaround, but once I got a hold of Justin yester he did all he could to fix the screw up to meet my satisfaction. Thanks! They'll keep charging you even after you quit. Every single person on staff can sign you up for new services, but if you try to cancel anything you have to talk to the manager who, shockingly, is never available. in the mean time they'll keep billing you with no way to refund your money, even if the whole process takes months.

So cancellations seem to be the cream of the crop. They say they are there for their customers, but in reality they are not. Attempting to cancel a membership is not what you would believe it to be. I was given notice that payment didn’t go through, I was already on the fence of canceling. I thought well my payment didn’t go through, I will just cancel it. You would think it’s that easy. I was a day late to cancel so I had to pay for a months worth then a 20$ late fee. I asked if I could speak to a manager about the 20$ t be waived due to getting a notice a day later, but I guess no one manages on a weekend. (You would think they would have a manager there when opened). So I said I will pay the months membership and not the 20$ so I can wait to speak to a manager. They said ok and charged my card and sent a receipt to my email and I was square. Well I look at my bank account and behold there is a 20$ pending transaction. The front desk people are nice and facility is clean. That’s why I gave 2 stars instead of one. Business is everything between seller and customer, but you would think you would feel the loyalty at all times.
