Great Gym and great people but beware of corporate and their predatory practices. They will up-sign you for stuff you did not ask for or need and forget to mention the $49.99 annual "Rate Guarantee Fee" which is not much more than a gimmick to allow them to advertise low monthly rates. Basically, you think you are getting a decent deal and then this shows up on your CC! While it is spelled out in the legal section, heaven forbit they would point it out and explain it...

One of the hand dryers in the men’s room doesn’t work. Both of the hand dryers in the ladies room don’t work. They have been broken down for at least 6 months. There are two tanning booths and one has been broken for the last 6 months and the second one is now down as well. Everything is breaking down and nothing is getting fixed. Waste of time and money to go here. Sad state of affairs at this location.Responding to “the owners”, my account is under a different last name. Cari Marshall. But Wayne and Sherry Myers also go to this location and they asked me to write the review. If you’re really the manager, you should already know that what I wrote is true.

Canceled membership but it kept getting charged afterwards and now a few months later I come to realize that they never canceled it and now I have to see what to do. I went to the bank and fixed it with them but VASA wanted to keep charging so I'm having to go through more trouble and having to change my card number so they can't charge anymore, think twice before joining this stupid place.

Been a member for a few years. Specifically come to layton over other locations that I pass to get to layton. Would like to see the equipment fixed faster and missing items replaced quicker. The sled has been gone for at least 3 months. I know of at least a dozen people that use the sled daily for their training.

I'm pretty new to VASA, but I like going there. Most of the equipment works. I like the options I have for workouts. The people at the front desk are super nice. Kinda busy. I try to go close to 2 or 3.

I enjoy the environment at this location. The workers are always ready to help you and are very kind. Very clean facility and lots of space. Better layout than any other gym I’ve been to

DO NOT GO TO VASA FITNESS. They over charge or charge multiple times. I asked to freeze my account. Which they did for a $10 charge but then continue to charge me even after I called in and asked about multiple times if I wouldn’t be charged and they told me no. And lone behold… I was charged not only for the membership fee but now I’m getting charge twice and an additional fee on top of that. DO NOT GO TO VASA FITNESS. Go to EOS

Dirty all the time, weights never reracked, equipment has been broken for months and I’ve been told “it still works” even though exposed cable and broken pulleys are definitely a safety concern. Management/employees seem to be there for a paycheck and have no pride or work ethic.Been a while since this was posted, not much has changed. As of this morning got to gym around 7:30 and door was still locked. Numerous people waiting in their cars for some sort of employee to show. How is it that the staff of an establishment that was built for people to better their health are less fit and responsible then the people who PAY to come.Also, somebody from corporate has yet to reach out like your google response said so…

I had bad experience with the manger he was so rude. My husband was trying to figure out if he wants to upgrade his membership or get a guest pass and they told us to call and we ask if we can go in for today. And they did not let him in until he upgrade. This was really terrible customer service. I use to love Vasa but I am thinking to cancel my membership and go to EOS.

Love going to the gym and working out. Staff seems friendly enough but it is obvious the bare minimum effort is being put into cleanliness of equipment Nad facilities. Please vacuum the hair, dead skin, and debris from the equipment and wipe them down. So gross 🤢. Consumers should expect this level of attention from staff. The steam room and hottub are broken constantly and dirty. Get with the program
