I love this gym, the staff is always nice and the facility is very clean, but I do have one major problem. The pool is always disgusting when I go. I love using the pool and use it quite frequently but you can literally feel the grease on your skin, there are hairs everywhere and this last time that I went there were actual clumps of dirt (I hope it was dirt) in the pool. I feel that the members of this gym, myself included, pay enough money to have things cleaned. Since it is a gym pool I feel that it needs to be cleaned more regularly. I haven’t asked how often it gets cleaned yet, but PLEASE keep it clean so I don’t feel like every time I accidentally get water in my mouth I’m going to contract a disease.

Great gym so far. Not really crowded between 3-4 pm, after that it gets busy cause it is a gym in a densely populated area. Plenty of equipment, all of which seems to be working fine. If you are worried about the reviews that talk about the charges and cancellations, a quick read over the contract will tell you all you need to know in simple terms... all of the charges are in there. As far as cancelling goes, this is my second time being a member...I had no issues cancelling the first time. Just follow their instructions.

I started going to this gym a month ago. Lots of room, big variety of equipment. I would like to see the staff more personable and friendly. No one is rude, however I found them just going through the motions with myself and other members they did not know. Once someone they know comes in, they are bright, chatty and make eye contact. I would love to see the tanning rooms clean. Kinda grossed me out a bit. Thought about bringing my vacuum and something to clean the tanning bed base with next time come. lol. A great idea is to keep sweepers in the room to go over the area rug and at the end of the night scrub the platform inside the tanning booth. Some hooks for hanging clothes would be great too.I would also like to see member not camp on equipment and use the proper equipment for particular exercises. This is not the fault of the gym. A lot of young bucks and doe's in this facility so it makes sense.Overall, it is a nice gym. It serves its purpose for me.

I have been very pleased with my experience at this location of VASA Fitness thus far. I have been treated with nothing but kindness and respect from all employees (Melanie and Paige, most notably) and genuinely look forward to spending time here. If you’re thinking about joining a gym and/or beginning work with a trainer, definitely do. Five stars all around!

Just started going to this gym recently but it's been fantastic so far! Love the daycare, the ladies are so great with my kids (8 and 1). It can be a pricey gym based on options you want, but then again you're paying for the great amenities. Doesn't feel like there is that snooty attitude in the air here either; if you have a question, ask, the staff is very helpful! The gym can be pretty crowded at peak hours but going during non-peak is great.

Love the gym! Love my trainer! Absolutely hate the daycare system! Messed up and scheduled a half hour wrong from my training schedule. Had to miss that half and stand there for 20 minutes before I let my kids go in. No flexibly or willing to work with you at all even if they had the ability to. If it wasn't for the daycare and the poor customer service by the people at the front desk I would have given 5 stars.

5 star for sure, the staff ask you to put your weights back for the people that don't respect the gym, friendly staff. People are saying the staff have a bad attitude.... I freaking think they are wonderful. I'm an avid Golds gym fan this Vasa is set up nice and people don't stare as much being that my wife is a hot fitness Princess. The staff are all young but don't lack in respect as people have said

I have been frequenting gyms for 25yrs. All gyms aren't perfect because they are not designed specifically for you however the gyms are still nice and your time is enjoyed while there. My wife got roped into the paid trainer. I thought it would be a good idea also as she is timid as many are when going to the gym. I was told she would get a complete walk through of the gym and get a detailed regime of what to eat and what to do while at the gym. When she asked the trainer for a tour he said you can walk it yourself alter. She never got a regime for meals and some but little info as to working out (waste of $100/month!). The GYM itself is big but disgusting as to cleanliness. No on cleans there equipment when done and I never see any employees cleaning. In fact I would get weird looks when I cleaned my equipment. To the customers defense the cleaning wipes are hard to find and in some areas are not available. The classes are worse. My wife would go into a class right after one had finished and the mats had not been cleaned. So she is now working out and lying in someone else's sweat. The whole facility smells like a locker room. The equipment is okay, however, there are not enough dumbbells based on demand and the benches are great but there is half as many weights then are needed to support the use of all the benches. Now the best part, I get charged by VASA at there convenience and when I ask for an invoice they have no real way to print one (so I was told) so the one I got was very vague. The best part is when you cancel you have to do it online AND you have to pay for next months membership up front before it will let you cancel. It is a corporate company with a corporate atmosphere, corporate prices, and horrible customer service and facility. RUN AWAY! So I cancelled my membership today after just 2 months and I paid $150 for this months membership and yearly maintenance fee/price guarantee and another $45 for next months membership. YEP AWESOME!!! See ya! I will not be back...ever! By the way there sales staff are like used car salesman.

Great gym in almost every way. Lots of machines for every body's group, nice layered layout. Wonderful leg workout area. But there is one area of improvement that needs to be made. This will only effect parents that wish to use the daycare. They are very ridged and not flexible. One has to set in appointment online (can't do in person). They charge you a late fee and a no show fee. If you cancel it has to be 24 hours in advance or you will get a late fee. They are just not very considerate of members. I hope they choose to improve in this area. If you don't have kids or plan on using the daycare this place is a 5 star. But for those that plan on using it it's a struggle, not near the caliber of Golds gym daycare.

I see a lot of negative reviews which honestly is weird. Yes their layout is a little weird but after a few visits I'm used to it and it doesn't even bother me. The staff is just fine and has been polite every time I've talked to them. Trying to "sell" you is kind of their job. It's a business after all. Also nothing wrong with their equipment. It's actually much better than most gyms around here. People not cleaning their equipment isn't the businesses fault. Welcome to the world where not everyone is perfect and courteous. Smart practice is to just wipe down equipment before you use it to be sure. Also I've seen a certain individual on their staff wiping down equipment quite regularly. So again I say this is a great facility. One of the better options in the area and fair priced. If you need a perfect facility that caters to your every whim while you're there maybe you're there for the wrong reasons.
