I've been a member of Vasa for a couple of years now. The employees are all friendly and helpful with any questions I have.The facilities have a great variety of equipment and I really like that they have a pool. The cinema room is also a nice touch.When I first signed up for Vasa for the most part the massage chairs were always working and the facilities were clean. Now the massage chairs are rarely working and the facilities are not very clean. Especially the showers.I'm always nervous about cleanliness. Overall I like Vasa but not near as much as when I joined.

I told the front desk I wanted to tan for 6 min. The tanning machine wouldn’t turn on. I notified the front desk. They said it should be working and try again. It worked this time and after 3 min I rotated, and waited for the machine to turn off automatically as it usually does. I thought it was talking a long time and turned around to see it was at 9 min, I hopped out immediately. I figured the girl forgot to enter my time and messed up my tanning session. Super burnt, unable to work, don’t trust them to enter your time right. Careless teenagers working the front desk.

Edited 2.0After talking to customer service and being told things were going to get better, I am sitting in the parking lot 40 minutes after opening with the doors still locked. Parking lot is full of members waiting to come in. If you’re not going to show up at 7 like your hours state, CHANGE THE HOURS. Going to be cancelling our plan at this point because this is just a waste of time for me.EditedWOW. Customer service just called me and handled this like champions. I've just recently joined. I like it. The staff has been more than helpful. Facilities are clean. Yeah some people don't wipe down the machines after use. Big deal! Wipe it down before you use it.I

This gym is disgusting every single day. Multiple complaints made to staff and corporate about the lack of cleanliness and broken equipment, nothing has changed. The staff post passive aggressive notes everywhere instead of walking around to clean up and re rack weights. They all stand around and talk to each other instead of actually working. I’ve made complaints about the CrossFit/ slamming of the weights so they bounce multiple times, they just ignore them, I know the staff hears the loudness and still ignores it, the safety of the gym goers is at risk. We will be taking our money elsewhere.

This gym is an embarrassment to the franchise of Vasa. Within the last few years the attachments for cables have either broke or have gone missing. It’s at the point there is more cables than handles. I’ve noticed a lot of members have been purchasing their own handles to bring into the gym since this facility is unwilling to provide equipment. I’ve recently gone to Kaysville and Clinton locations and they are very well kept up. I only think it’s fair if management isn’t willing to provide gym equipment at the gym that us members don’t have to pay the yearly maintenance fee because at this point that money is just getting pocketed, not put back into the facility.

It's not hard to run a gym, at all. All members need is a clean gym and working equipment. I see why everyone goes to Kaysville. This location is filthy. Elliptical machines make loud banging noises, missing cup holders, there's like a muddy, sweat and dust mixture on all equipment, except where your clean it yourself. Place looks like it's never been cleaned. Bathrooms are disgusting 80% of the time. Listen.. all equipment should be fully wiped down monthly. Bathrooms detailed weekly, minimum. Equipment checked for maintenance issues at least monthly. Come on, be professional.

Been a member of a few gyms before and have visited other locations prior to this. Just joined this gym. Was probably much nicer when it opened up, but it seems it could use a little TLC. The tanning beds especially leave a lot to be desired. The room was very dirty withseveral bulbs out and a few more onthe brink. Tried the Zumba class though and it was fantastic, I do love the variety of classes offered.

Great gym! The staff are super friendly. There are so many great amenities and awesome group fitness classes. Gym has been very clean every time I've been there. The hours are so convenient. I'm glad I got a membership here.

WORST PLACE EVER…Beware if you try to cancel your membership they will completely ignore you and try to avoid you. You can’t say hey I want my membership cancel… anywhere you go and get a gym membership you can walk to the front desk and say you know what I want to cancel and they will help you. You just need to pay a few and that’s it. But not in VASA, and they will over all ruin your credit because you refuse to pay for services you haven’t used. So if you are thinking of joining don’t because they are LIARS.
